Amazing
HHeidi RudyClean hotel with comfortable rooms. About 20 minutes to the main attractions downtown. Really nothing to complain about except a few really minor details. 1. There is not exhaust fan in the bathroom. 2. There is a big gap under the door that let's noise and light in at night 3. The elevators are really squeaky:); and 4. They should have orange juice, not orange 'drink' for breakfast.

SSUI HANI checked in on a Monday. The hotel is clean and quite. Front desk staff are very friendly. With a swimming pool which opens until 10:30pm. Also provide continental breakfast. There is a small fridge, coffee maker and a microwave inside the room but surprisingly without providing a kettle. Still you can get hot water easily from the restaurant. Location is good and very close to a shopping centre/outlet. Would recommend it.

BBarryWRoom cleanliness and air conditioning were good. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was simple but good in quality. However the breakfast queue was long and food replenishment was not done in pace with the flow, ended up in a long queue not moving as people stayed in the front of the queue stayed in the queue waiting for replenishment. The dinning space was insufficient that could not accommodate the big crowd.
We ran into issue setting up the sofa bed. Calling the front desk asking for assistance we were stunned by a reply saying they would not send staff to help but urging us to try for another attempts and kept reassuring us the sofa bed operation was simple and easy. Finally we got that sorted out with help from other hotel customers..
A major disappointment that totally ruined my experience with the hotel was the way my enquiry was handled towards an unknown charge after I checked out.
In the check out bill, it was just a charge billed to my credit card without indicating what service or item I was billed for. While my family did not order or buy anything at all from the hotel and we were in a rush, I did not check the bill upon check out until 5 days later I saw it in my credit card account. I sent an email to the hotel reservation (that was the only email channel I found from the hotel home page) to enquire about the charge and no reply was received ever towards my enquiry and that's what I was hit. Although the unknown charge was refunded after another week, I did not feel good with the way they work. I frankly accept mistakes made by the front desk or the account team for incorrect bill, but I do not accept ignorance and zero communication from the backend on my enquiry. This is something the hotel should improve.

XXIAOWEILocated in West Ottawa, the hotel is conveniently located next to the market, with Walmat walking for 10 minutes and Ottawa Outlets nearby. The room was clean and the front desk staff was warm. The hotel’s restaurant is also good, offering burger sandwiches. Free parking

DDogbertI was a bit overjoyed about this hotel. It has a stylish design and the shower gel and cream in the room are very easy to use. I couldn’t help but buy a set to take home 😂 There are scenic spots and various restaurants nearby. If you are traveling, it is a good choice.

SSiu ChinRoom is in good size even for a family.
There 5-6 lifts but there are always long queues for lifts there. The lifts do not seem to serve their purpose well. In the morning, the hotel controls all lifts. You can’t press Down Button for a life to come down to check out or to the car park. You have to wait till someone who comes out to where you are on a lift way up or down. Never found hotel lifts operating so weirdly 😳 After checking out, I tried to take the stairs case to go down to the car park, I couldn’t do that because a room key was required to access the staircase😖
The electric door lock for our room had been beeping most of the time. Informed hotel to fix it.

AAlicia York-BirdI expected more from Glö than I received. I chose Glö as a ”treat” for a couple's getaway, as it was a newer hotel and appeared like it would be snazzier than the usual fare.
Pros: The bathroom was very nice, and the complimentary toiletries are top notch. The rooms are very clean. The mattress was very comfortable and the TV was a decent size.
Cons: The rooms are incredibly small, and while they are nicely furnished, the tiny ”couch” seat was more form than function (i.e. prettier than it was comfortable). The front desk staff seemed very new and clueless on basic hospitality essentials, like how to work the in-room television. It also took ages for a response from front desk on how to work the TV and the issue wasn't even resolved.
I probably will not stay here again nor would I recommend this hotel to anyone I know, as there are so many hotels to choose from in Kanata that offer better, more knowledgeable service and better pricing.

GGuest UserAmazing stay at the Courtyard Marriott. Perfect location to walk to shops and restaurants at Byward Market. Parking available onsite. Hotel itself is clean and comfortable. Olivia was fantastic and checked us in and out, answered any questions we had and seemed sincerely interested when asking how we enjoyed our stay. We’ve stayed here before and will definitely book again next time we are in Ottawa.

FFenhongsexiaohongThe room was very big. We arrived at the hotel at around 10:30 in the morning and were allowed to move in as soon as there was a room. You need to ask the front desk for slippers and toothbrushes.
The breakfast buffet was very poor and it is not recommended to add it. Let's eat at McDonald's outside.
The location is very good, just a few minutes walk to Capitol Hill.
