Excellent
GGuest UserBeautiful inn in a lovely tranquil location. We had a wonderful stay. The inn itself is absolutely gorgeous and we had a great time just sitting in the lobby area. Service is great; they helped us with our luggage up the second floor (only stairs here). The area is nice and quiet, but convenient - we walked 15 mins to Li Yuan and it was easy to book a DiDi car anywhere. There is a free shuttle bus between Li Yuan, the other Diao Lou villages and Chikan Ancient Town which was very convenient. Breakfast was lovely and so nicely presented, and the nice lady kept telling us we could ask for more.
GGuest UserThe European-style decor is incredibly grand and stylish, making you feel truly honored as soon as you step into the lobby. The rooms have high ceilings, so there's no feeling of being cramped; the sense of space is fantastic. The mattress provides excellent support, ensuring my back felt great after sleeping and guaranteeing a good night's rest. The large parking lot is a bonus, and the security guards were diligent in directing cars, which made me feel very secure. It's truly reassuring to stay in a well-established place like this, with such attentive service and solid amenities.
AAnonymous UserThe place is relatively remote, the road is only big enough for one car to pass, but the countryside scenery along the way is very nice;
The house is relatively old and does have a sense of history, but the facilities and equipment should be appropriately updated and upgraded, such as toilets and shower rooms;
The hotel service is still very good. The management staff are very enthusiastic and patient. They recommend us fun, delicious and local characteristics.
The price is generally a bit expensive, it depends on what your needs are.
GGuest UserBeautiful room with a lovely spacious bathroom as well! It was located within walking distance from the Zilicun Diaolou. The service was fantastic, as one of the owners helped me to find a hidden village that was not even on Baidu maps! I really appreciated that effort, so would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to explore the Kaiping countryside.
CcivillawliThe room was clean and tidy. The air conditioner was turned on in advance, and it felt cool and comfortable as soon as I entered. There is a big yellow orchid tree in the yard, and the flowers are fragrant. The view is the green fields, which is pleasing to the eye.
The restaurant's food tastes good, but the reception capacity needs to be improved during holidays. It is a bit busy to handle too many people.
Ssunny846988Didn't expect to find such a great value-for-money hotel in Kaiping! The room was spacious and bright, with a large windowsill. Both beds were super big, and it had smart curtains and a heated smart toilet. The vanity was located right by the entrance, separate from the shower room, which was really convenient to use. Each room even came with a foot bath tub and corresponding herbal foot soak packets. The service was also very thoughtful; for our complimentary supper on check-in day, we had white fungus sweet soup. While the breakfast variety wasn't huge, it was filling and nutritious. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back again.
AAnonymous UserA fantastic guesthouse! It was spotlessly clean, very quiet, and perfect for families with kids. It also boasts a swimming pool and a cafe, making it ideal for a relaxing, laid-back family vacation where you can truly unwind. Several attractions are nearby; Zili Village Diaolou is within easy walking distance, and it's also very close to Chikan Ancient Town. The service was excellent. We'll definitely invite friends and come back again next time.
GGuest UserI booked a room with a tatami mat and used my Trip.com points for an upgrade. Upon arrival, the front desk upgraded me to a family suite, also with a tatami mat – excellent! There were a lot of New Year decorations in the public areas. The breakfast selection wasn't huge, but the taste was good and it was well worth the price. The hotel's free guest-only parking lot is spacious and conveniently located indoors on the first floor.
My booking included freshly ground espresso: I could choose any coffee or other beverage from the menu.
GGuest UserThe room Trip.com is marked 55 square meters. If you live on the spot, you will know that the room is only 20 square meters. The table is small enough to put a dressing bag and charger. There is no place to start. When the room is checked in, there is still a stall of water on the ground. It is also understandable that the last guest may check out late but the key is as a homestay. The service is completely cold. I asked a wifi password. I asked me to find it on the table. I looked it a few times and still didn’t find it. After all, tourists are tired. I want to rest early and tell a password. Is it so difficult? So finally, I’m playing hide and seek. It’s quite positive to urge to check out. There are almost no guests upstairs and downstairs on Monday. My train at 2:30 in the afternoon departs at 1:30. As for 12:30, I urge it. If it’s a busy weekend, I can fully understand. After all, the guests may be waiting, but this person is not shadowed. Also urged people to leave. . . There is no enthusiasm for the service that the homestay should have.
WWHREMP**Hotel Review**
This stay was quite average. While the hotel's location is convenient and the staff are friendly, the overall value for money isn't great. The room and amenities were average, clean, comfortable, and the soundproofing was barely acceptable. The biggest issue was the breakfast: the selection was limited and the taste was subpar. The freshness of the ingredients and the quality of the cooking were disappointing, completely disproportionate to the price.
Given the price range, I expected better amenities and service, but the experience was barely adequate. If you're not particular about breakfast or can handle the slightly higher price, you might consider it, but overall, I wouldn't recommend it and would likely choose a similarly priced hotel next time.
