TTravelFeverI stayed at Jano Hotel in Addis Ababa for 3 nights, and I can say it was a very pleasant experience overall! The hotel is very nice – the rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated, offering real comfort. The staff was friendly and attentive to details, making me feel welcome from the start. The breakfast was decent, although I would have liked a greater variety of options to make it even more appealing. The only less ideal aspect was the access road, which is quite bad and can be a challenge, but once you arrive at the hotel, everything more than makes up for it. I warmly recommend Jano Hotel to anyone looking for a nice and relaxing spot in Addis at an excellent price-quality ratio!

AAtie TaktehraniThe host was an amiable and hospitable lady. She welcomes you with warmth, and the staff also behaves respectfully. The guesthouse is beautifully designed, with eye-catching artwork in every corner. Our room was lovely and comfortable, but there were some shortcomings. It seems that the main light in the room was burnt out, making it dark at night. Additionally, there was no trash bin in the room and the toilet hose needed repair.
The host has five adorable dogs, which is important to mention in the guesthouse description for those who may have sensitivities or fears of dogs. This information helps travelers decide whether to reserve a room, considering some people may be uncomfortable around dogs.
You can experience local cuisine at this guesthouse. If you enjoy Ethiopian food, you will appreciate the offerings. A supermarket is nearby, and you can use the kitchen facilities to prepare your meals.
Please note that hot water is not readily available. You'll need to inform the staff to heat the water, and it takes at least two hours for it to warm up.

GGuest UserI booked for my Mom and, prior to her arrival, the hotel was prompt to reply to my WhatsApp messages and to be added to a group with my mom for arrival arrangements since my mom doesn't speak English much.
Everything was handled very well, they were very flexible to help us extend the stay and my mom said she was happy with their service.
Also very well located she said, close to the airport.
Thanks to the Sunview team for making things easier for my mom

AAbnet AsnakeThe location and aminities were great but the office staff need training interms of giving consistent information, they claimed that I had one reservation when I had two they insisted that I paid for one room when I paid for two and requested that I send them a picture of my credit card! Which is borderline suspicious.

I initially booked only two days, but honestly, from the very first day, I felt incredibly comfortable. The hotel is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and meticulously organized. Every detail reflects their attention to comfort and cleanliness. The atmosphere is relaxing, and you won't want to leave.
What truly set this place apart was the way the staff treated us. The manager is incredibly kind and courteous, always helpful and attentive to every detail to ensure our comfort. The staff are equally wonderful, always smiling, and their service is fast and excellent, making you feel like you're with family, not just a guest.
Because of this wonderful experience, I couldn't stop at just two days, and I ended up staying here even now. It truly deserves all the praise and appreciation, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean stay with top-notch service. 🤍

GGuest UserThis is my second stay in this hotel - although my first stay was not positive, but the hotel staff are friendly and they tried to help. The problems I faced previously such as no water to the room, during peak hours, still persist. So I have taken to shower during off-peak period. In addition, during this stay there were periods at night, of more than 10 mins, where there was no electricity to the room on 2 days. I think the above issues are due to the aged infrastructure of the hotel and hotel management should invest into upgrading these systems. Apart from these, the friendliness of the staff, more than make up for these inconveniences. But this is no excuse for the management not to upgrade the hotel infrastructure, since the hotel is often running full occupancies (due to lack of choice).

GGuest UserThe hotel was nice and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was clean including the bathroom. The only issue was finding the place with GPS, the road getting there is a bit narrow but all in all I will revisit this hotel again.
