Amazing Stay – Highly Recommended!
I recently stayed at this guest house in Addis Ababa and had a wonderful experience. The place was very clean, quiet, and extremely comfortable. All the staff were lovely women, and they made me feel safe, welcomed, and well-looked after.
The manager, Ts’eḥāyon, was exceptional. She speaks fluent English, is very professional, and incredibly kind. She picked me up from the airport and drove me back at the end of my stay. She also offers amazing tours around the most popular and beautiful places in Addis at a very reasonable price, which made my trip truly special.
The price of the accommodation was also very affordable, especially considering the high level of service. I felt at home the entire .
I highly recommend this guest house to anyone visiting Addis Ababa. I will definitely stay here again!
TTravelFeverI stayed at Jano Hotel in Addis Ababa for 3 nights, and I can say it was a very pleasant experience overall! The hotel is very nice – the rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated, offering real comfort. The staff was friendly and attentive to details, making me feel welcome from the start. The breakfast was decent, although I would have liked a greater variety of options to make it even more appealing. The only less ideal aspect was the access road, which is quite bad and can be a challenge, but once you arrive at the hotel, everything more than makes up for it. I warmly recommend Jano Hotel to anyone looking for a nice and relaxing spot in Addis at an excellent price-quality ratio!
AAnonymous UserStayed here during the Meskel holidays. Checking in took some time (2 hours of waiting) since we had no choice but to go to the hotel early before the roads close. Place has modern amenities that made for a comfortable stay. Breakfast is okay, a good selection for vegans and health conscious alike.
Bbellawang57I really love it here! Love every staff member! I stored my luggage before going to the south, and the front desk kindly told me that when I arrived in Arbaminch, I would stay at Haile and ask the hotel to find a car for me. Later, I returned happily and stayed again, reluctant to leave here.
GGuest UserIt is better than I have expected. The hotel is new, rooms are nice and clean. Free shuttle to airport.
But there are some disadvantages:
- location is not good
- there are no gym, spa or swimming pool
- late check out after 6 was not possible even after we paid extra (half of the daily cost)
AAAA奥姆Relatively small, but very complete. The service is very good, and any service staff is very enthusiastic. Become friends with every service staff. Will come to live next time. Coffee here is also good and cheap.
GGuest UserThe front desk clerk and the boss were very welcoming. Since we didn't speak the same language, the clerk spoke very good English and helped us explain in detail to the driver where we were going, making us feel like family!
RRonnie HallettBest Hotel I've stayed at in Addis Ababa.
Unfortunately due to Foot and Leg Injuries; had to stay in Room for majority of time.
Personnel very helpful for Room Service..and assisting in pushing my wheelchair.
Highly recommended for anyone who is thinking of visiting Addis Ababa.
GGuest UserThis is my second stay in this hotel - although my first stay was not positive, but the hotel staff are friendly and they tried to help. The problems I faced previously such as no water to the room, during peak hours, still persist. So I have taken to shower during off-peak period. In addition, during this stay there were periods at night, of more than 10 mins, where there was no electricity to the room on 2 days. I think the above issues are due to the aged infrastructure of the hotel and hotel management should invest into upgrading these systems. Apart from these, the friendliness of the staff, more than make up for these inconveniences. But this is no excuse for the management not to upgrade the hotel infrastructure, since the hotel is often running full occupancies (due to lack of choice).
