Great. This location is Dream house. If you can get a room, please take it. I will never regret it. The scenery in front of you cannot be bought with money. The value is several times the price. The Adriatic Sea is right in front of you.
The old town is also in front of you. It's a distance to take a slow walk, to the old town.
There is also a kitchen, the living room is large, the calm sofa, the bed is large, the shower room is large, and the front door is a huge garden. If you look at it properly, there is a turtle.
I wonder if it's a staircase, a little, it may be hard for people who are not physically fit like me, but it's a distance that you can climb slowly.
I'm going to get drunk with that scenery. I'm drunk even if I don't have delicious wine. Of course, having a delicious wine makes me feel even better. I am one of them.
Please take this location when you go to Croatia and Dubrovnik.

What a fantastic find! This is a hotel run by a school, the staff are teachers and students. It’s in an amazing location right by Pile gate and is very easy to find. The rooms are done up to a very high standard as is the whole building. We had breakfast in with our booking and this was also great. Boris runs this like clockwork and is always super friendly and helpful with advice for your trip if needed. The lady on reception (we didn’t catch her name sadly) was also really friendly and helpful and helped us with storing our baggage in a back room as we had a late flight following check out. We went very early season so, at one point, we were the only guests here!
The only niggles (and these are very small!) were that the rooms lack tea and coffee making facilities. We arrived very late when everything was shut and couldn’t even have a cup of tea or coffee. Also maybe a mini fridge in the room? Although we think this was down to fire regulations. The other thing was the breakfast choices were limited, the food was well cooked but it would have been nice to maybe have some pastries too.
We will definitely stay again if we return to Dubrovnik

The room is very good and the landlord is very nice.
The location is in the old city, very convenient, it is recommended to live here, you can see the old city at night after playing during the day.
Remember to download whats app, the landlord will contact you on it, the check-in process and positioning are very clear.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of the old town, just minutes from the “Walk of Shame” stairs from GOT. The room was clean, and once inside, it was easy to come and go, though you do need to call ahead to access the main entrance. The price is a bit high, and breakfast would have been a nice addition. Still, the old city is magical, and staying there for a couple of nights was amazing!

Guest UserUp the hill away from the centre of Old Town so, quieter if that's what you want. But only 200-250m or so from Pile Gate. Room was clean, great quality bed and bedding. Modern layout. Note that to there are about 50 steps up to the street where this apartment is located so, you don't want to be lugging a heavy wheelie (or any kind of wheelie). I left mine in storage near the bus station and used only my backpack.
Responsive hosts. Clear instructions on how to find the place and entry is via PINs on electronic door locks.

Pros: great location in old city; convenient kitchenette with hot plate, sink & mini fridge enough to put together simple breakfast, comfortable room (mattress/AC) & clean
Cons: No clear front desk or contact info posted—these are basically rooms above a restaurant and the workers seem busy with that. There was someone to give me the key, but it wasn’t clearly communicated how to checkout (leave keys in door? Turn in?) or how to get in touch with staff. I’m a pretty low-maintenance traveler, so this wasn’t a big problem, except that WiFi network and password posted didn’t work, and I didn’t know how to ask about it. (Wasted a lot of my SIM data, as a result 🙁) I think they should at least have a basic info/policy sheet with a WhatsApp contact or similar posted in the room.

Kash AshWe stayed at this apartment during our visit to Dubrovnik. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with excellent hospitality from the owner, although there were a few things worth noting.
The apartment was clean and well stocked with basic kitchen essentials. It had pans, plenty of cutlery, salt, coffee, milk, and other small items that made self-catering convenient. There were also brochures for boat trips, city tours, and other local attractions, which were helpful for planning our stay.
The standout feature was the owner. Communication was excellent from start to finish. Even though we arrived late, she was available by phone, responded quickly to every question, and did her best to guide us with parking and check-in. Her helpfulness made the experience much smoother.
The main downside was parking. There is no convenient parking nearby, and finding a place to leave the car was quite challenging. The apartment is located in what feels like a residential neighbourhood, around a 15-minute drive from Dubrovnik Old Town, so having a car can be both useful and frustrating because of the parking situation.
The apartment also felt more like someone’s home than a serviced hotel apartment. If you’re expecting hotel-style accommodation with dedicated reception or professionally managed facilities, this may not meet those expectations. However, if you’re happy with a simple residential apartment and appreciate a responsive and caring host, it offers good value.
Overall, a clean and practical apartment with an exceptionally helpful host, but be prepared for parking challenges and a more residential experience rather than a hotel-style stay.

A hidden gem of a hostel in the castle! The location is absolutely superb, making it incredibly easy to explore the old town. It's clean, quiet, and the service is incredibly thoughtful. Amazing value for money, I highly recommend it!

Guest UserThe hotel is old and needs a lot of maintenance done and the lift was out of action all the time we were there. I could see it was a very good hotel in its day. The staff all friendly and helpful and the food was good in the restaurant. We had the buffet one night; it was good value at 23 Euros.
Breakfast is a buffet which is good but it is a very busy restaurant with seems to be full of tour companies staying there. My only real complaint was the hotel not having a safety deposit box in the room.
