Amazing
GGuest UserThe hotel has unparalleled sea views, the room is large, and the sofa in the living room can also be used as a bed. If three people are traveling, it will be no problem. It only takes about 20 minutes to walk to the old town, which is very suitable for a family vacation. The hotel staff are very friendly and they took the initiative to help us carry our luggage up the steps. The breakfast is very good, right on the edge of the cliff. You can order fruit, yogurt, main dishes and other random dishes. They are all local specialties and full of ritual.

GGuest UserA Great place to stay. We were pleasantly suprised by the access to 6 different pools on arrival to our hotel including 1 on the rooftop. The amenities were so good. There was a lovely gym, spa on site also with access to all. Breakfast was great each morning. The location was perfect, right on the bay with great views, and the perfect view of the sunset each night. There was a bus stop just a 2 minute walk away, which was just a €2 trip to Old Town. The staff were friendly, more so those in the Vista Bar who were very helpful than at the reception but nevertheless, still friendly. Rooms were nice and clean, cleaned every morning for us to arrive to fresh bedsheets by each afternoon. Only negatives i can really find was that there were no double beds in the rooms, only 2 single beds joined together to lake a double, I had called and the man at reception said this was the case for the whole hotel. Entertainment at night could have been better also, we found ourselves leaving the hotel each night to find better.

AAnonymous UserHotel is pretty clean, the room is large with a balcony. Hotel includes sauna, salt sauna, hammam, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a pretty good gym, PlayStation and computer play area. Breakfast is very good. Fruits selected are very tasty. Hotel is about 20min drive to old town, you can catch a Uber which costs around 20 euro. Distance to airport is 45 min drive cost around 45 euro. Hotel provides shuttle bus services to old town (8 euro per person one way) and taxi services to airport (60 euro). Drivers are very polite. Price is reasonable. Hotel staff are in general very nice. Shortcoming are the lunch/dinner restaurants. Tried almost all restaurants and the only good one is Veranda but the price is the highest. The price of all restaurants is pretty high. Not the hotel charges high but in general the price of the restaurants in Dubrovnik area is in the high range. There is no soft sand beaches. But the ocean is very clear and we can see different kinds of fishes doing snorkelling.

SSeat 2AAlthough this hotel is situated quite some distance from the Old Town this is not a bad thing at all. Insect I very much appreciated being removed from the thick crowds and noise, and very much enjoyed the peace and tranquility and spectacular sea views from this wonderful resort. Definitely worth paying extra for a c facing room, for breathtaking panoramas day and night. My room was elegantly decorated and very comfortable, with ample space for everything although a luggage rack or designated space for luggage would enhance overall comfort greatly. Staff were generally helpful and polite, with special mention to Matija the Restaurant Manager, who, despite handling large volumes of customers, remained unfailingly cheerful and energetic. The breakfast buffet was very generous by European standards, whilst the dinner buffet selection was also more than adequate and quite good value at 35 Euros per person. As mentioned in previous reviews, a bus connects the Babin Kuk area (where the Royal Ariston and her neighboring sister hotels, the Royal Princess, Royal Blue, Royal Palm and Neptun are situated) to the Old Town. If you purchase the 40 Euro Dubrovnik City pass, discovers one day worth of this bus travel plus access to the city walls and its museums. Cannot recommend this resort highly enough and look forward to my return.

AAnonymous UserCome to Dubrovnik in winter, it is really right to choose the Kaupas Hotel! As a seaside hotel, its environment is completely beyond expectations. The classic double room has a balcony. The door is the blue view of the Adriatic Sea. The warm winter sun is sprinkled on the sea, and the atmosphere is directly full. The service is also online throughout the whole process, from check-in to check-out. The most surprising thing is the breakfast, which is rich in variety, from fresh toast, local cheese to freshly squeezed juice, hot omelets, and quality is not lost to a first-line five-star hotel. Although it is winter, the occupancy rate of the New Year's Day holiday is still very high. The breakfast period is particularly popular. It is recommended that you go early to enjoy this rich breakfast slowly, otherwise you may need to wait for the location. The overall experience is very good, whether it is a trip with friends or a couple holiday is very suitable!

CCarpe diem TaniaHotel at the end of the bay, along the promenade. Magnificent private beach of the hotel. Very spacious room and furnished in a refined way with great taste. Very efficient and professional room staff. Hearty and varied breakfast. Beautiful presentation. But where the only thing missing was fresh fruit juices. The staff at breakfast lacked attention and vigilance towards the customers (plates not cleared, lack of responsiveness for setting up a new table, ...) The reception at the reception lacked professionalism for a 5-star establishment. Very beautiful wellness area (unfortunately throughout the 7-night stay neither the bio sauna nor the steam bath were in working order). The common areas were majestic and very clean.

GGuest UserThe hotel room is very big, basically the largest room I have ever stayed in Europe. It is a collection of hotels, and several hotels in the royal series are connected together, so the room is difficult to find. It takes a long way up and down. There is basically no convenience store nearby. You need to go down the mountain to buy water. You need to eat and other activities in the hotel. It takes about 15 euros to take a taxi to the ancient city. Uber is very convenient. There is a Chinese restaurant within a 10-minute walk nearby. Although the taste is average, it can be regarded as comforting to the Chinese stomach. The hotel service is average. The next day, the waiter threw our toothbrush directly on the sink. I don’t know what it means.

GGanwencui_The room is nice with an outdoor balcony. The surrounding facilities are good, with a large outdoor swimming pool. Although it is not in the old town, if you want to go to the old town, you can also take bus line 6, which is a good experience.

SSharon AmandaThis is a really nice budget hotel, located in Lapad, away from the hustle & bustle of the old town, and close to the beach. We had a large room with an extremely comfortable bed/pillows, and a terrace/balcony. I thought it was a great idea to have clothes drying racks on the balconies, perfect for your beach towels & swimsuits. We had the breakfast, and it was pretty much the same every day. But even for us vegans, we could get something nice to eat. And for people with no dietary restrictions, there is even more choice. Our shower was faulty, which we reported to staff on our first morning. As it was the weekend, they advised that it probably wouldn't be fixed immediately, but by Tuesday we had a brand new shower head (the shower was usable, just faulty - we didn't have to exist without a shower!) The staff were lovely, friendly, helpful, and gave good tips about the beaches and surrounding area. There is a bus stop directly across the street from the hotel, where you can catch Bus 6 to the old town. The buses are small and very busy (September) and the cost is 2.50 euro one way. We did also buy tickets in advance from the kiosk in the town, where they are a little cheaper (1.70). And I must admit, we walked to the old town on several occasions. 30 minute walk, but with beautiful views. The beaches close by are lovely. There is a great walking path along the coast, and at some spots you can walk down stone steps to small seating areas, where you can also jump into the ocean and swim. We did this instead of going to the pebble beaches and hiring sun loungers. Overall, this was a really nice hotel, perfect for what we wanted. It is not high end, glam or luxurious, but it is comfortable, clean and friendly.

NNatthenutterI have no idea why this hotel is only 3☆ It's an outstanding hotel! I can't fault it. This hotel is fantastic! It's location is great, it's clean and has a beautiful beach. As a solo traveller, I felt very safe in this hotel. There was so much variety for breakfast that I didn't know where to start. This included hams, cheeses, bread, fruits, meats/ sausages, eggs, yoghurts, coffee machines, etc. All the staff were very helpful (including my lovely cleaner, thank you cleaner, you're a star!). My room was a single room, it was just right for me it had a beautiful woods/slight sea view and the shower was amazing, probably the best shower I've ever had staying in different hotels. My room was clean & comfortable. The hotel is opposite the bus stop, which takes you to Old Town (bus 4) and many different places (€2.50 return or cheaper). There were 2 little shops nearby, but I found Tommy's Hypermarket, which had most things a foreigner needs & it was just down the road (just put in google maps Tommy's hypermarket) it was literally a 10min walk, so easy & simple to find. I am super impressed with this hotel & I would highly recommend it(& I'd easily go back there). I wish people would stop complaining about the hotel not having lifts smh, learn to use your legs, it's not difficult! Although my stay was short (6nights) I loved every minute of it. ☆☆☆☆☆ :)
