GGuest UserThis hotel is a very good place to stay if you’re not driving. You may or may not have a parking spot on their lot. Both nights we were there, we had to park on another lot. It wasn’t too far but when you walk with a cane due to bad knees, that’s not good.
Our rented car was a Tesla. One of the reasons I booked there is because trip.com listed ev charger on the hotel amenities list. They DO NOT have an ev charger at this hotel. We had to go to another hotel to charge our car. We had a stressful first night worrying about where to find a fast charging station.
Other than that, I do recommend this hotel. Staff was professional and helpful. Room was very nice and very clean.

PPeipeipei12345678The room upgrade was great, and the view was genuinely lovely. My only complaint is that I was given a room right by the elevator again. The elevator noise was incredibly loud and frankly, unbearable.

Mmay3Since I was mainly visiting Kauai, I stayed here for three days and two nights, focusing entirely on Ala Moana.
It's directly connected to Ala Moana, which is very convenient.
I ate at the food court.
I had a hearty dinner watching the sunset at Signature Steak & Seafood on the top floor of the hotel.
You can also go to Ala Moana Beach.
They also offer free water dispensers.
My shower wasn't working properly, so I called and they fixed it right away. The service was excellent.
The view wasn't great, but that wasn't a concern, so
I was able to stay a little cheaper.
It's also great that there's no resort fee.
There's a Starbucks below the hotel, and it's always open! It's a hidden gem.
I recommend this hotel for those who want to explore the main Ala Moana area.
The staff were also very helpful.

GGuest UserNice hotel in the heart of Honolulu.
The room was spacious, but unfortunately the view from the balcony was of the neighboring building and there was no elevator.
Check-in took quite a long time and the bartender was also quite grumpy.
The rest of the staff was very friendly.
All in all, we would come again.

MMrAwayGenerally, the food is ok. The room is not bad but the towels are a little dirty. Don’t really like the small toilet but it’s not Squeeze actually. It’s just personal opinion. But overall, it’s a very good effort and decent hotel. For the price, I think it’s still worth it👍🏻

KKuanziThis was my first time at this hotel. I guess it can't be helped considering the location, but I chose a corner deluxe room, which was a little different from the photos on the website, and the ocean was visible between the buildings. I chose this hotel because it included breakfast, but the breakfast was average. The building felt old and dark.

AAnonymous UserChose it for the airport pick up/drop off, what a pleasant surprise. Great receptionist, she got me into a room early after a long overnight flight. While room dated, it clean, full
amenities and comfortable bed. Pool, restaurant and was given voucher for 2 drinks so enjoyed cocktails in the bar with very nice staff.
The service was respectful and helpful.
I’d stay there again.
MmrKarstenStaying at Manoa Inn feels like stepping into a living piece of Honolulu’s layered past. This plantation-style historical house is full of quiet character, from its timeworn woodwork to the gentle creak of its stairways. The inn is surrounded by gardens that seem to breathe—ferns unfolding, orchids slipping open, birds singing from hidden corners. One morning, I sipped coffee to the chatter of parrots and caught the city unfolding below through a frame of palms.
The location is as thoughtful as the house itself—steps away from the East-West Center, the serene carp garden, and the Manoa Japanese Tea House. Nearby cafés and small eateries feed both hunger and curiosity without fanfare. Nothing here feels manufactured. The inn doesn’t shout for attention—it invites you to listen, to linger, to notice. I left with a sense of having not just visited, but having been quietly welcomed.

GGuest UserIt was a room with a view of the diamond head and the sea.
I was a little worried about the height because I wanted a clear view of the sea, but I was satisfied with the Lanai overlooking the two without any problems.
It is old as a whole, the bathtub is old, and it takes time to get hot water.

GGuest UserThere is a main building and an annex, but the annex is really bad, and if you stay in the main building, the cost-effectiveness is really good! I stayed for 3 nights and stayed in the annex on the first day and was so depressed that I paid extra money to upgrade my room to the main building, and I was very satisfied! And it's very noisy because it's a downtown area, so take that into consideration! This is a picture of the bathroom when I stayed in the annex, but there was no ventilation and no lighting in the shower cubicle.. It was poor. Compare it with the pictures of the main building!
