It’s the best hotel on Oahu. The blackpink hotel I stayed in a few days ago is really average. The environment of the hotel after Four Seasons is really good. Waikiki is much better. There are several infinity pools, hot springs, and a beach pool. The hotel is flat. The United States is not a hotel. The best hotel feels like a five-star hotel in China.

The Sheraton Waikiki has the best location. It’s minutes away from a big outlet mall with many food options and has direct access to the beach. The rooms are updated and modern and you have great views of Diamond Head. Many tour groups also depart from the bus depot next to the hotel entrance so that’s also very convenient.

Another short vacation. Spent 2 nights at the Waikiki Marriott. Generally I like higher floors but this time I got the 8th floor. When I arrived to do an early check in, the computer system was down for maintenance and I had to come back later. Room was clean, first time getting a queen bed with the city view. Usually as a solo traveler I get the double beds for cheaper but none were available this time. Overall didn’t have any major issues. Only minor gripe was the bathroom light wouldn’t always turn on and would flicker and require me to flip it on and off again to work. The AC in the room was also noticeably nosier than the other rooms I stayed at.

Our stay at The Kahala started off a little disappointing as they didn’t have 2 bed rooms available. Luckily, they were able to quickly get a very comfortable rollaway bed to our room. The rest of our stay was nothing short of perfect. The resort is beautiful and all the amenities in the enormous room were fantastic. The scenic view room overlooks the golf course and was perfect for watching the sunrise. You can see a little bit of the ocean from the lanai if you have one. The beach is very open and not too crowded, even with the hotel saying they were fully booked. We loved that the water was waist-deep for several yards and no waves due to the reef. The restaurants were delicious and for those who are gluten-free, the chef took special care to show which items were safe during buffet times. The resort is beautiful and think the price was reasonable for what you get. It’s starting to show a little wear, but overall it’s very well taken care of and priced accordingly. I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m on Oahu!

Great Hotel We stayed here for 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay. This is a bit of a long review but the questions is, would we go back? Absolutely! We really enjoyed our stay here because of the staff, because of the activities they had planned for the guests and the location to get to everywhere we wanted to go. Getting there. It was about a 45 minute drive from the airport that started at about 5pm. It was an easy drive with a lot of great scenic views along the way. Hotel Location - I found the location to be an ideal location for us and our itinerary (Haleiwa town - Matsumoto Shave Ice, the food trucks - Fumi’s,Giovannies and Romy’s, Dole Plantation, Kualoa Ranch, Byodo Temple Inn, Hukilau Market and the Polynesian Cultural Centre) Right off the highway you find yourself located a short walking distance across the front parking lot to get some food at the Hukilau Market at the Polynesian Cultural Centre or McDonald’s), Foodland for groceries and food counter (2 min drive north), a short drive to the North Sore Taco, CVS to get other supplies including beer just a 3-5 min drive south The Bedroom - we stayed in one of the King Suites. This was a large room with lots of space. The main bedroom had plenty of space and storage for clothes and a very comfortable bed.. It also had a couple of chairs that we ultimately used to create a sitting area in the kitchen. the TV in the room was big and worked fine. The Living room had plenty of space and was big. The foldout had a cushion mattress on top and there is a second cushion/mattress in the closet in the bedroom. Using both is a must for a comfortable mattress on the sofa bed. I slept on the sofa bed and was able to get a comfortable good nights sleep. The air conditioner is right beside the bed so if you are a person that does not like the cold, it is something to consider. There was a kitchen area/living room area where we ate and hung out. There were plenty of seats and chairs to accommodate us having some friends over to the room for some dinner and some drinks. The fridge in this room (had a freezer too) was a really good size and much larger than the fridges in the regular rooms. Amenities. The exercise room was on okay size. I did not use it but it did go in to take a look around. The pool and hot tub were great. They had cabanas that you could rent. We did not rent them but I believe it was $20 for a couple of hours. Laundry. They had laundry on site but given our visit was at the beginning of our trip we did not use the facilities. Anything you need for doing laundry can be bought at either Foodland or CVS. Outdoor sitting area. There is a lot of room with lots of seats but very popular for gatherings. Lobby. Very large and comfortable lobby area to gather and relax. Bistro. I did not use the bistro aside from getting a coffee one morning.

Cross the road, you will get to a very friendly beach. New swimmers can learn how to swim in the ocean. Although many people there, the beach is still the best part that I've tried in Waikiki (compared with Sunset and Ala Moana), less rocks, easy to walk in the water. Hotel service is very efficient, as well as many kinds of activities (mostly on weekdays). Due to its too near the luxury row, it will be a little bit noisy if you stay lower level. Even the city view is good to see mountains.

We are just back from our stay at the Embassy Suites and recommend it for larger families. Having two rooms gives everyone invaluable space. Rooms are nice and tidy. Location is excellent. We were lucky to get the pool area for 2 days before it shut down for re-tiling … going across the road was inconvenient but our kids are older so it wasn’t too bad. The beach it’s near is Ft. Derussey which is really nice and not as busy as Waikiki Beach. It’s right in the middle of everything when it comes to shopping and eating and the complimentary breakfast is good. I would stay here again. Our room was on the 7th Floor of the Hula Tower and even though we didn’t request it we had an amazing clear view to the water (looking to the right) which was a nice surprise.

The hotel is great and clean and our room was a good size. I was sad that they didn’t have an actual pool. They have a waddle pool for kids and a hot (warm) tub. Parking at the hotel is quiet expensive and the walk to the beach is about 10 minutes. It was nice to be able to get towels, beach chairs and umbrellas from the hotel to use at the beach. Lots of shops and restaurants steps away.

The location is not in the bustling Waikiki. It is a very new hotel. I checked in directly at the hotel at 11 o'clock. I was also upgraded to a side sea view room where I could watch the sea from my bed. The room was very clean and cleaned every day. There were two 1.5 large beds and a washlet toilet. There was no balcony but the window door could be opened for ventilation, which was very comfortable. The surrounding environment was also very good. There was Walmart and Target downstairs. It was within five minutes to walk to Ala Moana Center and the beach. It was a 10-minute walk to the bus station to the Polynesian Center. It took more than ten minutes to get to Waikiki from the bus station downstairs. The hotel also had a free shuttle bus to the Waikiki beach. The free sightseeing buses of JAL and ANA were all in the AlaMoana parking lot. The location and transportation were really great. It was also the most comfortable accommodation in Hawaii.

It is a relatively newly renovated hotel in Waikiki area, but the price/performance ratio is not particularly high. The room is nearly 4,000 yuan a night with twin beds and ocean view. The room is not very big and water is not provided for free. Only two bottles are provided for 5 knives a bottle. Most of the front desk staff are Japanese. The service attitude is okay and the sea view is of course great!

GGuest UserHawaii for the first time in 6 years The theme of this trip is “Yattari Relaxing Healing Trip” When I told my eldest daughter that it was our wedding anniversary, she upgraded our room. At check-in, they guided us to the room and explained everything in detail. In the evening, enjoy the sunset while enjoying a hula show. I only stayed at Halekulani for one night. It was a very satisfying trip as we were able to spend everything in a relaxed manner. Thank you for your wonderful time.

GGuest UserThe breakfast has good fruit, and it is no problem to eat a simple meal like bread, milk and coffee. The location is very convenient, very close to the main street of Waikiki, it is very convenient to go shopping. The room is slightly smaller, but it is very cost-effective in Waikiki, the resort fee is cheap, as long as 12 dollars a day, parking 25 dollars

GGuest UserThis location is the best. 1 block from the beach, within walking distance to anything you want in Waikiki. The lobby is an open, grand lobby. Hotel employees are extremely friendly and helpful. I was very concerned about the hotel when I got off the elevator on the 14th floor. The hallways are dated and uninviting. However, upon entering the room I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, plenty spacious for a solo traveler (and would be acceptable for 2 travelers), and had a great view of the ocean. The continental breakfast offered fruit, pastries, boiled eggs, cereal, toast, and waffles. The best part of the stay was Leo at the bell desk. He was extremely friendly, and provided excellent service (he even noticed that I dropped my apple watch cover and held it for me until my return later that day). Be sure to get to know Leo, and don't forget to tip your service providers!

Located in the legendary city center. The mattress was sunken, and it was covered with a blanket, and the color was a bit inexplicable. Intensely contact yourself and bring a 4-piece set. Due to the old mattress, the head and feet are higher than the buttocks after going to bed. Service is acceptable. The air-conditioning sound is crazy loud, estimated to be 50 decibels. The space is larger and the sea view is a little bit too. The equipment is relatively complete, and you can cook if you are diligent.

KKyokoSI stayed at Hilton a few months ago. I would definitely stay at Ilikai if I had to choose between the two. I could stay in an ocean view room with a kitchen for less though the room was a little outdated and less beautiful than the room at Hilton. The staff was all friendly. I got a free ice cream, two bottles of water, and a newspaper every day in addition to admissions to two museums.

GGuest UserIt’s really life-saving. The design of the hotel makes me feel that the grade is very low. When you go to Hawaii, you should not be stingy and stay in a resort hotel. Don’t look at the name of Hilton written on it. The hotel room does not make me feel so clean and comfortable. Moreover, hotels in Hawaii charge an extra fee for WiFi and service. This hotel does not clean the room every day, but once every four days on average. If you need daily room service, you must make an appointment one day in advance. very speechless

WWilla1450The hotel is relatively old in decoration and facilities among Hilton hotels. You need to carry your luggage upstairs on the first floor. There are not enough waiters. No one took the initiative to help with the luggage. Fortunately, there was no one, otherwise you would have to pay one dollar. Tip, the hotel does not have a swimming pool, which is not suitable for my needs. The location is relatively remote. Fortunately, there is a place where food trucks gather near the hotel. There are more choices for eating and it is cheap. Haha, I have to find the photos slowly. I can’t remember. Which one belongs to this hotel?

GGuest UserI enjoyed my stay. Our room was great and had a beautiful view. Also, it was peaceful, not a lot of noise in the hallways. Breakfast was a little bland at the hotel, but there were many other places to eat close by. The Signature is a little overrated for the dine in meal, but the happy hour is a good value, and in a great location. We experienced both. I enjoyed the shopping close by as well as the breach in walking distance. I think I would visit again for a few days and then travel to see more of Hawaii.

SSatoApartments (condominiums) and hotels are integrated and not classified by floor or tower. Residents and long-term residents are mixed. There is a front desk, and spaces such as mailboxes are the same as in apartment complexes. There is a swimming pool, gym, sauna, barbecue, convenience store, water server, and laundry on the 6th floor. Gym costs $5 extra. No housekeeping due to corona. Towels can be exchanged at the front desk. Inadequate room cleaning. Rather than calling it a hotel, it's better to think that some rooms in an apartment are treated as a hotel. You can't enter the building without a card key, and the gatekeeper is stationed separately from the front desk, so security is normal. Because it is an AQUA system, you can enter HoMA and Bishop for free with a card key.

GGuest UserWe had 4 nights at the Waikiki Monarch and found it to be a strange experience. We booked it through Booking.com and stayed in apartment 2703A. On the positive side, our apartment had an amazing view of Waikiki, right out to the ocean, as well as along the canal – very inspiring! The location also was very good, situated on the western end of Wikiki. It was only a 10min walk to the beach and about 10min over to Ala Moana Mall and beach park. There was a good internet-enabled TV with about every channel and streaming service you could want – really a nice setup. On the negative side, the apartment was not very well cleaned upon our arrival, especially the floor. A couple of the dining chairs and the couch were covered in stains and were downright disgusting. The apartment was lacking a few basics, such as bedside cabinets and dressers/drawers for storing clothes. I had to lay out all my clothes on the floor along the hallway wall. We also felt the lighting was quite dim in the evenings. The kitchen was small and outfitted with only the basics. The kitchen faucet was loose and about ready to fall off – a little basic maintenance would’ve been nice. Another thing that was odd was that there was no reception or other onsite staff which could be called on if required. We were told to collect our key from a little lock box. We arrived at around 1pm, and since we weren’t allowed to check in until the very late hour of 4pm, we asked if we could store our bags and were told we actually had to pay for bag storage ($5/bag) for the 3 hours. It’s the first time we’ve ever had the experience of having to pay for bag storage at the hotel while waiting for check-in! Not impressed! In any case, we won’t be staying here anytime soon. Not recommended – there are so many far better places to stay in Waikiki. Don’t make the mistake we did.
