"It is a capsule hotel, so it is less private than a regular hotel, but more so than a hostel. You have a partition, so other guests can't easily see you when sleeping. Now, this is on the 14th floor, and the view is pretty good from the lounge. It's pretty easy to book, and has a decent bed, charger and tv. I didn't see AC controls in the pod, but it cooled down at night. Also, bring earmuffs and sleeping aides if you are easily bothered by other people making loud noises when you sleep."

"3泊4日で泊まりました。午前に飛行機が到着したので早めに休みたいと思い、予定よりも早めのチェックインをしましたが、追加料金はありませんでした。受付の方はとても親切に説明していただきました。客室の良い点ですが、ベッドはとても綺麗にメイキングされておりとてもフカフカでした。またバルコニーもついており、ビーチ側の客室だととても心地が良いです。ホテルの立地はとてもよく、ビーチや市内巡回バス停も近く観光をするにはとても良い立地です。鶏が外にいて、たまに彼らの音で目が覚めました。客室のマイナス点ですが、客室のドアがとても重い上にうまく閉まらない時が何度かありました。また、シャワーの扉が完全に閉まらなく、シャワー中外に水が漏れてしまうことが多々ありました。また、コーヒーメーカーのコーヒーがとても古く酸化していました。ホテルの立地のマイナス点ですが、夜のクラブのような音、周囲の治安（公園の住人がウロついてる）が少しありました。 We stayed this hotel for 3days. Our airplane was arrived early so we wanted to rest. We did early check in, but there was no extra fee. Positive point • Bed making was great, clean • All room have balcony • location was very nice, near the beach, shopping area, high brand shops ex • On every Friday, we can see a fireworks at the beach • In the morning, rosters? hens? shout their noise, so it made me wake up easier. Negative point • Our room’s door was so heavy and sometimes we can’t close it very well. • Shower room’s door can’t close perfectly, so sometimes the floor got little bit wet. • the coffee maker’s coffee powder was very old and included oxygen, so taste was not really good. • Sometimes, noise of the clubhouse was so loud and it made me uncomfortable to sleep."

"After almost a decade, I found myself back on Oahu and checking into the Hilton once more. This time, I was very fortunate to encounter a Chinese-speaking front desk agent who enabled us to check in early, a little after 1 PM. We also upgraded to the Tapa Tower for an additional $30 per day. Upon checking in, I realized it was the same tower I'd stayed in years ago. It's only slightly set back from the Rainbow Tower but is significantly more affordable, and elevator wait times were brief, usually under a minute. A big thank you to that Chinese-speaking front desk agent, who clearly outlined the room options and availability across the different towers. Just a friendly reminder: make sure to sign up for a free Hilton Honors membership; otherwise, check-in is not until 4 PM! However, not all staff members embodied the aloha spirit. Specifically, there was an older, somewhat heavy-set male baggage handler who was incredibly rude and dismissive, with a perpetually grumpy expression. He was the sole reason for any negative impression and instantly put a damper on our mood right after checking in."

"The shower only has hot water, and the water pressure drops to almost zero when you switch to cold water, so you have to shower in the steam room... I don't know if the other rooms are the same, but there are a lot of problems with the shower in room 813. Please fix it and sell it.. This is the strangest shower I've ever seen.. Other than that, it's average.. You can tell that the prices in Waikiki are high by looking at the hotel.. This hotel is as expensive as the Shilla Hotel in Seoul, but the quality is worse than a tourist hotel.. Breakfast is the best ever..."

"As incredible affordable budget hotel, I have everything I need, kitchen to prepare simple meal, so easy to access too bus right on Kūhiō street, most importantly, easy to access budget rental car and able to drop car after hour easily with no parking charge. Most importantly, close to so many great restaurant right beside hotel on international market. Finally, it is not too far to walk to beach in 2 blocks. Hotel itself is old; it is great for budget stay if one do not want to spend too much on hotel"

"The scenery is nice and the service is also very good. The front desk is serious and attentive. The room is very clean. You need to queue for the buffet, but the wait time will not be too long. It is also close to the downtown area, about seven or eight minutes away by car."

"I usually book with the Marriott down the street whenever I’m in Waikiki but I opted to try the Hyatt for the first time; it was also a little cheaper than the Marriott the day that I went. I got a King room with a city view on the 7th floor. The room was large, clean and one of the corners of the tower so it had a curving layout. Overall the room was clean, bed was comfortable, A/C was cold. My only little gripe was in the bathroom, there weren’t any shampoos or conditioners or body wash in the tub like other hotels. Can’t say much for service since I was only there for a day but the employees I did interact with were friendly and helpful. Definitely would stay there again."

"For our recent trip to Hawaii, we chose the Poolside Suite at Wayfinder Waikiki — and it was such a great choice. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated in a tropical, laid-back style, and had direct access to the pool right from the terrace. It honestly felt like our own private villa! The pool area is small but super stylish and peaceful — perfect for relaxing with a morning coffee. ☕️ The staff were all incredibly friendly, and the whole vibe of the hotel felt very local and welcoming. One thing to note: it’s a little bit of a walk from the main strip of Waikiki, but that also means it’s quieter and more relaxing. If you’re looking to enjoy both the beach and a cool hotel experience, this is a great place to stay!"

NNoskovConsider it a happy little accident. I had missed my flight home because of the Pearl Harbor Memorial Day Parade and was stuck an extra day on Oahu. I looked to see what was the cheapest hotel room available and the Ka La’i popped up which surprised me. Booked the room quick because the Honolulu Marathon was the following day and almost every hotel was sold out. I got an ocean view suite with a King bed as my room and loved it. Bathroom was amazing, bed was super comfortable and overall the suite was spacious. Although it had a kitchen it didn’t have a dedicated dining table, even a small one. Only thing in the sitting area was a glass coffee table that was long enough for my needs of just a late night pizza dinner. Staff was helpful and even as I was checking out, I casually asked if I could tour the Penthouse suite because I had always wanted to book it. The 2 front desk workers escorted me to the Penthouse and gave me a little tour. It was impressive. Definitely would stay there again soon.

GGuest UserWe had a very nice stay at Hotel La Croix, it is walking distance to the beach. When we first got there, we had asked if we possibly could get a room with a view and was initially told our room initially assigned is on the lower level and has construction view. Manager offered to upgrade us for a fee to a higher floor room. It has a very nice view of the beach but being that the room has 2 windows, the other side is still a construction view. Beds are comfortable and room has everything we need. Because of the upgrade, we had received access to the Monkey pod room which provided free bottled water, canned drinks and snacks. Overall we had a pleasant stay there. Didn't get to enjoy the pool, but it's also nice that the hotel has ABC store right downstairs and free coffee in the morning in the lobby.

GGuest UserVery pleased with our stay! Excellent location beachfront. Beautiful views of Diamond Head Crater. Super excellent location to be in the middle of all shops, beaches and restaurants . Short walks to explore & enjoy up and down the streets and beaches! All staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Clean and well maintained. Great assistance with booking activities. My daughter took a surf lesson. Beachside conveniently had plenty of water activities to enjoy with an area to rent paddle boards , surf boards, floats, chairs & umbrellas. The restaurants inside the resort were excellent and convenient with outdoor seating and ocean views! ABC general store on lower level to shop for anything needed from drinks, snacks, beach towels, souvenirs, sunscreen etc…The resort also offers free activities that are on a schedule week by week, such as yoga, hula lessons, Lei & bracelet making, vow renewals & ukulele lessons! My 15yo daughter took a ukulele lesson, then shopped around and bought one to bring home!!! We have absolutely no complaints about our stay! Will absolutely be coming back in the future. Our flight home was a late evening flight & our check out time was 11:00am, so the bell hop service held our luggage for us so we could enjoy the rest of our last day on the beach. Then we decided to top off our last day to pamper ourselves with a spa treat, which is located on the top floor of the resort. I got a massage. My daughter got a facial. Afterwards we got to go to the outside roof top and enjoy the awesome view feeling refreshed & relaxed. I can go on and on about the positives of this vacation stay. There were no negative issues!

The room is smaller compared to Hilton Hawaiian Village, but we loved the clean décor. Our balcony had an ocean view, which was really nice. Check-in and check-out were fast and easy. We would definitely stay here again.

EE0013****Let's start with the positives: The moment you walk in, you're greeted by a stunning ocean view, and I woke up to the beautiful beach every morning 🥰. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful 🫶. The room was also very spacious; coming from Tokyo to Hawaii, I really appreciated the upgrade in space 😍. There are many bus routes right outside the hotel, making it easy to get to Pearl Harbor. The Pink Line of the 'Waikiki Trolley' also stops directly at the hotel entrance, which is great for going shopping at Ala Moana. Now for some areas for improvement: The room didn't have many amenities, and there was no free bottled water. It's a bit far from shopping and dining areas; getting to lively spots usually takes more than a 10-minute walk. However, if you love surfing 🏄‍♂️, this is a great choice as the beach is just a short walk away.

Mmay3Since I was mainly visiting Kauai, I stayed here for three days and two nights, focusing entirely on Ala Moana. It's directly connected to Ala Moana, which is very convenient. I ate at the food court. I had a hearty dinner watching the sunset at Signature Steak & Seafood on the top floor of the hotel. You can also go to Ala Moana Beach. They also offer free water dispensers. My shower wasn't working properly, so I called and they fixed it right away. The service was excellent. The view wasn't great, but that wasn't a concern, so I was able to stay a little cheaper. It's also great that there's no resort fee. There's a Starbucks below the hotel, and it's always open! It's a hidden gem. I recommend this hotel for those who want to explore the main Ala Moana area. The staff were also very helpful.

We had to wait some considerable time to be attended to, we ended up seating ourselves, getting our own menus and water, whilst the sole server juggled his other responsibilities. After a very ordinary fish & chips meal, with the thinnest fries we've ever seen we received a bill for the equivalent of AUD $90 to which not only had a 4% kitchen charge been added but additionally a further 18% service charge. Neither the meal or service justified this charge in any way. We left what we considered to be a fair and reasonable payment which more than covered the cost. For the AUD$ 75 cost we could have fed four people with a far better quality meal. We had been unable to use our drinks voucher in the restaurant, so after the meal we went to the bar in the same hotel to use our vouchers to get a drink. Whilst there a very disgruntled server from the restaurant and some random woman from the bar came and accosted us, snatching a jam jar of tap water we had brought round with us to finish at the bar. We were basically accused of stealing a jam jar of tap water whilst sitting at a bar in the same hotel, as paying guests! A waiter from the restaurant hung around the entire time just to ensure he got his jam jar back! Next morning we loaded our own cases onto the free shuttle bus. The driver tried to dismantle our cases, we asked him to leave our cases to allow space for other guests & we wanted them to stand in the luggage space adjacent to the rack, as they had done on the way to the hotel. The driver began shouting at us, threw a tantrum & went to get his boss, who came out & saw no issue with our cases. The driver then began driving recklessly, racing round corners and braking heavily. Guests had to tell him to slowdown and stop driving dangerously. He then made all the guests remove their own bags unassisted after we informed him his behaviour certainly did not warrant any tips! A shocking & horrible end to our holiday & not a very good advertisement for the USA Dreadful tipping culture of entitlement even if service does not warrant it! .

GGuest UserIt was a room with a view of the diamond head and the sea. I was a little worried about the height because I wanted a clear view of the sea, but I was satisfied with the Lanai overlooking the two without any problems. It is old as a whole, the bathtub is old, and it takes time to get hot water.
