4-Star Hotels in Jianshui

This hotel stay far exceeded my expectations. It's newly renovated with spacious rooms; our double room had two queen-sized beds. It also featured Toto bathroom fixtures and a Dyson hairdryer. The breakfast selection wasn't huge, but the quality was excellent. The rice noodles, in particular, had a delicate flavor perfect for those who prefer lighter tastes. The service was exceptionally thoughtful. They called ahead to ask about our needs and pre-registered our license plate number. The front desk staff were also very welcoming and responsive to everything. The only minor drawback might be the location. It's at the end of a street, and the surrounding residential areas have turned the road into a parking lot. It's a bit of a walk, about 20+ minutes, to the ancient city.

Facilities: The room layout is reasonable and unique. I really liked the color scheme of the TV cabinet and the small square tiles on the floor. However, the room faced a gym (I'm not sure if it belonged to the hotel or a neighboring residential complex), so I had to keep the curtains drawn the whole time. Also, the water temperature in the bathroom was unstable, and the toilet flush wasn't strong enough. The hotel restaurant was too small; when there were many guests, we had to sit outside, which was inconvenient during the rainy season. The canopy over the lobby entrance was small, and it was pouring rain on the day we arrived. Even though the car was parked right at the entrance, we still got wet. The photo spots in the hotel were very unique, but the lighting was dim, so the photos didn't turn out well. The overall style of the hotel was dimly lit, and walking down the hallways felt a bit eerie. Cleanliness: Good, housekeeping was prompt. Environment: It's next to a residential complex, so taxis usually only stop by the roadside, not directly at the hotel entrance, which is inconvenient on rainy days. However, the hotel is close to various attractions, and taxis in Jianshui are inexpensive. Service: Full marks for service; all staff members were very enthusiastic. The welcome letter in the room was a nice touch. Jianshui Station pick-up/drop-off service (choose one): Just book a day in advance, very convenient. Buffet lunch, afternoon tea: The hotel offering four meals a day was very convenient, especially for families with kids, as you could return to the hotel to eat anytime.

Location: Located in the city, not the ancient city, quiet at night, convenient taxi, to various attractions, about 10 minutes ～ a few good barbecues from the hotel, tried it, it was really good Facilities: The architectural style combines local characteristics and modern architectural advantages. Quiet, comfortable and soundproof.～ I especially like the simple wooden ～ The way of enclosing fully reflects the advantages of combining nature and architecture. Sitting in the corridor at night can enjoy the moon and the daylight drops. Directly mapped on green plants and sculptures, as if a dynamic painting ～ Before leaving, I took a few sets, and they were exquisite everywhere. Rooms Facilities: The room has bedroom, study, oversized bathroom double washbasin, plus bathtub, and Toto bathroom, smart toilet, plus Dyson hair dryer Service: A few girls who had to be in advance, dignified and thoughtful, without losing the temperature, patiently gave suggestions ～ The room is also equipped with handwritten cards, and good night desserts. For the surrounding construction seen in the previous evaluation, for me who sleeps quietly, it is completely unaffected. ～ Maybe one is the soundproofing of the window, and the other is a certain distance. The other party starts work late.

A very satisfying experience, very cost-effective, I didn't expect it to be so good before I checked in! Unexpectedly, the hotels in the county are not inferior to the luxury hotels in Kunming. The front desk staff was very nice. I arrived early at 11 a.m. and was given a room. I took the train in the afternoon and was given a late check-out at 13:40. I booked a special large bed room. The room is very newly decorated and well-equipped. The electric windows and electric toilet are very useful. The hot shower was great. I had a big bowl of rice noodles for breakfast. In addition, the location of the hotel is very good, close to the ancient city, only a 10-minute walk away, and a step away from the small train station. All in all, it was a perfect stay. Next time I come to Jianshui, I will stay here again.

A truly delightful stay! This stay was a complete surprise! The hotel completely changed my perception of traditional hotels. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt the immense care put into every detail. In terms of hardware facilities, the modern design of the public areas made me feel very comfortable and sophisticated, with no hint of being outdated. The in-room facilities were very complete and comfortable, especially the mattress – it was just the right firmness with excellent support, allowing me to lie down and relax completely, ensuring a super comfortable night's sleep. The whole environment was decorated very warmly, giving a 'welcome home' feeling as soon as you entered. The service experience was an even bigger bonus. Every staff member had a kind smile, and their service was incredibly warm and attentive. From check-in to check-out, every step made me feel respected and valued. Overall, this is a hotel with a beautiful environment and excellent service. I highly recommend it to all travelers seeking quality!

This hotel is absolutely worth experiencing. From the rooms to the common areas, every staff member is incredibly polite to guests. It's a great hotel for road trips, with a convenient parking lot right behind the building. Parking is easy with plenty of spacious spots. The shower has strong water pressure, and toiletries are abundant. Breakfast offers a rich variety of delicious options. The room facilities are complete and comfortable, spacious, tidy, and clean. It's quiet at night with good soundproofing. There's also a washing machine and dryer, which is very convenient for doing your own laundry. Special perk: The hotel offers complimentary car washing, and they do a thorough job – even cleaner than what you'd get at a paid car wash. A special shout-out to the young man who washed our car, thank you! 🙏 Another big thanks to the young lady with glasses at the front desk and the other lovely staff members. This guesthouse, which I carefully selected after a long search, truly surprised me. Its red-brick courtyard is next to the Confucian Temple, offering stunning views of blue skies and green tiles. The terrace overlooks the shimmering waters of the Xuehai Lake (a scenic area in Jianshui). Banana trees and greenery adorn the old-style building, perfect for photos taken during the Republic of China era. The interior is even more delightful, with a coffee bar featuring a giant cactus, a water feature courtyard hidden behind a wooden lattice door, and a tea room filled with local Jianshui artifacts. Every corner exudes a retro and relaxed atmosphere. In my room, I could see the Confucian Temple from the bed, and the bedding was so soft it felt like sinking into a cloud. I was woken by the sunlight and the aroma of tea in the mornings, the air itself imbued with the slow pace of the ancient city. The owner was very welcoming, and the service was excellent. Highly recommended!

The room is generally OK, the best thing is the mattress, it is very comfortable to sleep on. The location is good. It is very convenient to eat barbecue next door. It is only a 5-minute walk. There are also several large snack shops around. It is said that this is because there are many students from Jianshui private schools. The breakfast was ok, but there were too many people in the morning, and the hall for breakfast was cold without air conditioning. The wash area in the room is quite narrow, and the toilet is really small, which makes me feel like I am just shutting myself in. The room is not soundproofed, and any noise outside can be heard inside. The service staff was not as good as the previous comments said. I arrived at the hotel after 1:00 pm and they didn't arrange check-in yet. Objectively speaking, it can only be a quasi-four-star hotel, and its infrastructure and service management need to be improved.

This stay experience is full marks, it is definitely a treasure hotel with high cost performance! The location is very good, it is especially convenient to travel by taxi and visit the business district. The front desk staff was gentle and welcoming, and the check-in and check-out speed was very fast, and the whole process did not take long to wait. The room was clean and tidy, no smell, the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, the pillow comfort was just right, and I slept very well at night. The bathroom is well separated from wet and dry, the toiletries are complete, the hot water supply is stable, and the water pressure is sufficient. The public area is clean and tidy, the corridor is quiet and not noisy, the sound insulation effect is great, and the outside sound is completely heard. The breakfast is rich in variety, meat, noodles, and drinks are all complete, fresh and delicious. The cleaning aunt cleaned in time, the service was intimate and thoughtful, and I will definitely choose this one next time I come here. I have already recommended it to my friends!

The room was very spacious. It also had Xiaodu, which I could call to ask for anything I needed. It was very convenient. The staff smiled at me when they saw me, which made me feel better. There were also robots delivering meals. Because I checked in late, I checked out today, and the hotel extended my check-out time without any extra charges. It's really great to have such a nice hotel in a small county like Jianshui, and the price is so affordable. The service was great, and the stay was very comfortable. I'll stay here again next time I have the chance. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. 😋
