GGuest UserAfter comparing many B&Bs, I finally chose this one with the highest rating. It was not disappointing. The B&B is located in the alley of the ancient city. It takes less than 2 minutes to walk to the old street along the path guided by the proprietress. It is quiet in the bustling city. The room layout is simple and tidy, the bedding is clean and wrinkle-free, there are warm reminders on the wall of the bathroom, and the stairs are carpeted. Every detail reveals the meticulousness of the boss's management. The boss and his wife are very nice. I couldn't find the address and called her. Soon the couple came to pick up and help carry the box on the battery car. When I left, they enthusiastically sent the box to the bus station. Seeing that the online train tickets were sold out, they enthusiastically helped to buy tickets on site. It really made ”home away from home”!

Ttianl****We booked this hotel in Jianshui Ancient City through Ctrip. Upon arrival, the lovely owner, seeing that we were older, kindly arranged a large room on the first floor for us. She also recommended several good local restaurants, and bottled water was unlimited. When we accidentally lost our room key while sightseeing, the owner didn't make a fuss or ask for compensation. The owner was very generous and kind; I would recommend her to anyone visiting the ancient city.

YYouyongdemaomaoI really liked the B&B during the entire trip. It was clean and sanitary, the bedding was comfortable, the environment was elegant, and the boss was very nice. It is located in a small alley in the ancient city, quiet in the bustling city, and very close to Dabanjing. My children fetch water for me to make tea every day. Location : a 5mn walk from the Old city, and from lots of restaurants at night. very easy to find.
Staff : very nice staff! Despite not speaking English, they tried their best to please me. They helped me book a taxi, and talk to the driver. I was disappointed I was not in the building with the garden, and granted me access to the garden part.
Hotel : Congratulations to the designer, who is a VERY talented person. The design, mixing old and new, is absolutely stunning. It respects tradidtions, but with a twist.
the garden is exceptional. having the tea there was one of the highlights of my entire trip.
Rooms : they are super luxurious, huge, with marble bathrooms and Japanese toilets. But a loise of traffic noise from mine.
Only downside : this hotel is made of two buildings, which are on the other side of the street. The fish tank building has this amazing fisthtank, but it located in a VERY noisy street. My bedroom was overlooking the street, it was difficult in the morning. The garden building is super calm in an alley, all the rooms are overlooking this incredible old garden, no noise. I would recommend the owner to clearly indicate in which building the rooms are during the booking to avoid any potential disappointment upon arrival. rooms in the fishtank part are the cheapest.
Overall I was happy with my stay, it's one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed in. But beware of the building you are booking to avoid surprises! I wish I had stayed longer.
