4-Star Hotels in Ordos

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Warm welcome and excellent service from the staff. My car even got windscreen wash out inside before I left the next day! Delicious afternoon tea snacks and a very good breakfast selection. My bed was big and comfortable. The shower had reusable products which smelt amazing! The seating in the room was very stylish and comfortable. There was a convenience store next door too. Would recommend if you are in the area!

I drove home for the New Year and encountered heavy snow, so I had to find a hotel to stay in halfway. My father and I took our three children and searched all the hotels with family rooms. This one seemed to have good value for money and was very close to the highway. The environment was the same as in the photos. As soon as the children entered the door, they jumped into various toys and couldn't wait to take off their shoes and clothes, sweeping away the tiredness and frustration of our journey. The children played by themselves, and my dad and I also had time to rest. I forgot to take pictures of the bunk beds, they were so childish. The hotel staff were very welcoming. They delivered warm mineral water, prepared snacks and fruits for the children, delivered warm hot water when we left, and gave the children and us New Year gifts. The child accidentally wet the bed and no one said anything. Temporary accommodation, no compromise at all.

The room is super big, the bedding is moderately soft and hard, the service attitude is super good, the breakfast is very rich, the most important thing is that the taste is super good, Chinese and Western food are available, the quality control is very good, I recommend everyone to try it. There are also many Mongolian gift shops around the hotel, and it is convenient to take home.

Few of the amenities listed on the listing page are available. Maybe they were at some point in the past long ago, but this hotel is far from in its prime. There is no sauna. The ”bath center” where this was has been converted into a commercial spa for a business unrelated to the hotel. There is no night club. There is no ”gym” as shown in one of the pictures. I believe a lot of the pictures shown on the listing page are years if not decades old. There is no ”boutique”. There is one tiny convenience store on the first floor. The hotel has a restaurant on the second floor. I only used it for the free breakfast which was good. The hotel largely focuses on catering to business events. They have meeting spaces and a big ornate looking meeting space. For normal travellers, this hotel is very bare bones. Service was great. The staff are friendly and helpful. The laundry is not self service. You need to pay per article of clothing for someone to take it. The room itself lacked a minibar, functional air conditioning, or a functional safe. It was very spartan. Would I come here again? Not for the listed price. Without any of the advertised amenities, I can't imagine this is much better than cheaper hotels in the area.

I'm so glad we booked our stay inside the Xiangshawan Desert Scenic Area! It made everything so incredibly easy. Each room came with 6 bottles of water, and the air conditioning was already on before we even arrived. Even though it's a yurt, the interior space is very large, and the private bathroom is super clean. The hotel's services were all excellent. The all-inclusive meals were not at all superficial; each meal featured local specialties like lamb offal soup, savory milk tea, and plenty of beef and lamb. The quality was on par with outside restaurants, and we all agreed their milk tea was the best we had during our entire trip. After a fun day exploring the two islands, returning to the hotel wasn't boring at all. In the evenings, there were disco parties, firework displays, and stargazing. Every event was well-organized and very entertaining. It truly lived up to its nickname, 'Desert Disney'! Definitely worth the trip!

Although this isn't the big brand name chain hotels, I had a great stay here as well. The beds are comfortable and the customer service at the reception is superb. The rooms are clean. The decor is chinese styled and cosy. Location wise isn't next to malls but you can find some shops and convenient shops within walking distance.

Sisters visiting Xiangshawan and Ordos! I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel! The moment I walked in, I was charmed by the lucky bamboo in the lobby and the koi pond. Watching the fish swim peacefully in such a comfortable environment instantly melted away the exhaustion of travel. I especially want to commend the hotel's delivery robot. No need to go downstairs to pick up takeout, and no contact with strangers – it's incredibly social-anxiety friendly. The robot automatically calls you for delivery, which is so thoughtful and convenient, truly enhancing the stay experience!

Awesome place for families. Family yurt was ideal and the Hero show was fantastic. The other shows and kids activities were also great. Beware limited eating choices but those there are decent enough. Ice cream and Dico’s available at the activities area. Also note you need to pay to get into the scenic area and activities/shows. We paid 268 per adult including 12 activities/shows. Kids under 1.3m are free. Oh and free to use washer/dryer was a godsend.

Among hotels near the airport, this is probably the best choice for business travelers. It's affordable, offers airport shuttle service, and is just a few minutes' drive from the airport. There's a restaurant on the second floor where you can order lunch and dinner, and they'll even deliver it to your room.

Having stayed in so many hotels, this is the first time I can't help but comment that this is the only hotel in the scenic area. It looks good based on the price, but only those who have stayed there know. 1. The receptionist was very enthusiastic and took my luggage on his own initiative. My first impression was quite good. As soon as I moved in, I discovered that the air conditioner was roaring loudly, the toilet button required skill - if you pressed it incorrectly the water would just keep flowing, and the sink drain was half-blocked, so after using it you had to wait for the water to flow out before you could use it again. There was a male waiter at the front desk with a bad attitude. I booked a family room for four people, and there were only two 335ml bottles of water in it. I asked for four more bottles, but he said it would be charged. This is the first time I heard that hotels charge for mineral water! The one point deducted from the service was by the male receptionist! The cleaning staff has a better attitude than the male waiter at the front desk! However, the fireworks show during the May Day holiday is still a plus!
