Even if you arrive late, there's no need to worry about airport pickup or late-night travel. This is so reassuring. The price is also very affordable, a fantastic value. Although the hotel isn't new, it's very clean and comfortable. The service is impeccable. We extended our stay for another night, and the staff were incredibly attentive. They provided plenty of toiletries for the children, and their attention to detail was evident. The most surprising thing was the breakfast; it was not only delicious but also incredibly varied! "Our stay at the Xiangshawan Lotus Hotel was definitely the most anticipated part of our trip to Inner Mongolia. My child absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave, even saying they want to bring their younger brother back for 10 days next time, haha! Two days felt way too short. We were out and about every day, with so many activities that kept us busy until 11 PM. There's the water park on Yuesha Island and all sorts of fun attractions on Xiansha Island. Plus, there are tons of food and drink options on the islands, all our usual favorites like milk tea, snacks, KFC, Yonghe King, and more... Upon entering the hotel, we were greeted by the friendly smiles of the front desk staff. They gave us a rundown of the hotel floors (1st, 2nd, 3rd) and restaurant locations. Then, a staff member helped carry our luggage directly to our room – we didn't have to worry about a thing! We could just arrive and head straight out to have fun on the first day. The hotel also thought of everything. You can call the front desk with just one touch. I called for hair ties and hairspray, and they were delivered very quickly. Thumbs up! 👍 What truly stands out is that the hotel includes three meals a day and VIP access to both islands. You don't have to wait in line for attractions, and you can grab various alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, and snacks from the hotel anytime. It was truly enjoyable!"

"Every time I go back to Ordos to visit relatives, I must stay at the Ordos State Guesthouse. I was one of the earliest guests of the State Guesthouse. At that time, the State Guesthouse had just opened, and the waiters had not received standardized training and spoke a strong Shaanxi dialect. After Crowne Plaza took over the management, the hotel's software services have been greatly improved. Around 2008, the hotel often hosted government meetings, with a large number of guests and a very rich variety of breakfasts. "The room was spacious and bright, with a simple yet elegant decor. Cleanliness was impeccable; the floors were gleaming, the bedding was soft and fluffy without a trace of odor, and even the corners and crevices of the bathroom were spotless. Toiletries were neatly arranged. The mattress was perfectly firm, and the excellent soundproofing meant that with the windows closed, we couldn't hear any outside noise. A good night's sleep completely dispelled the fatigue of our journey. The service from Camila Sun at the front desk was incredibly warm and attentive. Check-in and check-out were quick, and she even proactively recommended a hidden gem of Mongolian cuisine, a local favorite. The hotel breakfast was plentiful, with hot dishes, desserts, and freshly cooked noodles—all authentically delicious. The Mongolian cuisine was excellent. The hotel had a stable 24-hour hot water supply, strong Wi-Fi, and the facilities were very well maintained. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit this city. I highly recommend it to every family traveling together."

GGuest Userwe bought rooms on club floor expecting to use Executive Lounge, but it was closed for personal use by the owner of the hotel. Then they should not sell club floor room. The rooms we stay also smell bad cigarettes and air condition is too warm and cannot adjust. Very bad stay. Good only the hotel restaurant, Blue Diamond Cafe, good food and good service.

It's an all-inclusive package with three buffet meals, and you get VIP access to the scenic area, skipping the queues. They offer kids' crafts, a swimming pool, and bonfire parties. Right outside, you're in the desert, and the night sky is absolutely stunning. The staff provides excellent service, proactively asking about your needs, which is very thoughtful. For family travel, the value for money is exceptional; my child didn't want to leave!

AAnonymous UserI was initially in a dilemma about whether to stay here or not, but looking back, it turned out to be one of the best decisions of my trip! After carefully planning the journey, getting there was actually quite straightforward. For those coming from Hohhot, here's the route I took: 1. Take a train from Hohhot to Dalate West Station. 2. Take a Didi from Dalate West Station to Huailian Tourism Resort Reception Center (about 40 minutes, around CNY50). 3. Purchase rm176 of the Whistling Dune Bay package ticket, which includes admission, cable car, Yuesha Island access, and a camel ride. 4. Resort guests have access to a special lane for the cable car, which takes about 8 minutes. 5. Upon arrival, take the resort jeep transfer to the accommodation area. 6. Enjoy activities such as sand sliding, swimming in the pool, stargazing, and simply experiencing the peaceful desert atmosphere at night. 7. After checkout, take the jeep transfer to the mini desert train, followed by the duck car ride, before returning via cable car. 8. It can be difficult to get a Didi from the resort reception area, but the staff kindly helped arrange a taxi back to Dalate West Station for around CNY50. 9. Continue the journey from Dalate West Station to Ordos. What impressed me most was the hospitality. From the WeChat communication before arrival to the reception team and resort staff, everyone was incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The night experience was truly spectacular. The desert becomes so peaceful after sunset — all you can hear is the sound of the sand, while above you is a sky filled with countless stars and a beautiful moon. It was one of the most memorable moments of my trip. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique desert stay and unforgettable experience!

The room was clean and bright, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and I slept soundly all night. GGuest UserMy expectation was meh before arriving this accommodation. However, the guys at the reception are very helpful and they also arranged a minibus to pick us up from the tourist centre. As for the conditions of our room, it is unexpectedly clean and tidy and as the sign was pointed out, it is very normal to have dust and sand appear in the room since we are at the desert. Overall, it has been a wonderful experience!

GGuest UserLet's start with the location. It's absolutely amazing. It's right in the heart of Dongsheng District's core business district, right to Wanda Plaza and behind Wangfujing. This location is truly amazing! I feel like a geographer, knowing all the advantages of this location. It's incredibly convenient to everything. Wangfujing Department Store is a 5-minute walk away, perfect for a relaxing stroll and some great food. Wanda Plaza is an 8-minute walk away, perfect for a post-meal snack break. The Ordos Oceanarium and Zoo are both about a 15-minute drive away, and the Xiangshawan Scenic Area is about a 50-minute drive, making it a simple day trip. Entering the spacious and bright lobby, I instantly felt like a celebrity, radiating my own energy. The front desk staff were welcoming and attentive, their smiles warmer than the spring sun. Check-in was a breeze, and I felt like a VIP, enjoying exclusive treatment. The room was even better! It was so spotless, I almost wondered if an invisible cleaner was constantly watching over me, ensuring not a speck of dust escaped. The bed was so soft, it felt like I was wrapped in a cloud. I slept soundlessly until dawn, transformed into a sleeping beauty. The soundproofing in the room was incredible; I almost wondered if I was alone. It was incredibly quiet, allowing me to enjoy my entertainment without worrying about disturbing others. The Wi-Fi signal was so strong that I felt like a complete internet geek, catching up on shows and playing games without a single lag. It was absolutely amazing. The hotel also offers free parking, free laundry, and other amenities. They really understand us, their guests. This stay was a truly fantastic experience.
