My recent stay at the Howard Johnson Plaza Erdos (Civic Center Branch) for my trip to Ordos far exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it. The hotel is conveniently located near the Civic Center, making it easy to get around for appointments. The surrounding area is quiet and clean, offering a peaceful retreat in the midst of the city, ensuring a good night's sleep. The lobby boasts an elegant and grand design, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. From check-in to check-out, the process was efficient and smooth. Any requests were handled promptly, which made for a very comfortable experience. The room itself was spacious and well-designed, with good natural light and ventilation. The bedding was soft and comfortable, leading to an excellent night's sleep. The bathroom was clean and odor-free, with stable hot water and a full range of toiletries. The facilities were well-maintained; the air conditioning and internet worked perfectly, showing great attention to detail. The breakfast spread was extensive, a mix of Chinese and Western options, with fresh ingredients and delicious flavors, catering to various tastes. The hotel as a whole was spotlessly clean, and the soundproofing was excellent. The value for money is top-notch in the area. It's an ideal choice for both business travelers and families. The service, environment, and comfort all met my satisfaction, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Ordos.

Coming to Ordos to see a play, I chose this renowned five-star hotel, and I truly felt it was worth the trip. The room was very spacious, and the view outside the window was absolutely beautiful, with a seating area perfect for a short rest. The long table under the TV was also very convenient to use. The yurt-style canopy over the bed immediately gave it a strong sense of ethnic and regional charm. It’s also worth mentioning that they provided welcome fruits and a souvenir gift. The breakfast restaurant is on the 2nd floor and can accommodate many people dining at once, so there's no waiting for a table. Breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, with many Inner Mongolian regional specialties like milk tea and meat shaomai. The taste was authentic, allowing me to enjoy breakfast while also experiencing the unique culture of Inner Mongolia. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit.

Tieniu Hotel is undoubtedly the brightest pearl in this oasis. This stay experience made me deeply appreciate the outstanding charm of a five-star hotel. When you step into the hotel lobby, you can feel a graceful and luxurious atmosphere. The high dome design, matched with gorgeous and dazzling crystal chandeliers, its light falls on every corner, reflecting the warm luster of the marble floor, and complements the exquisite artworks and decorative ornaments around, as if you are in a luxurious art palace. The lounge area in the lobby is warm and elegant, with soft sofas, exquisite coffee tables, and green potted plants, providing guests with a comfortable and cozy resting space. Tieniu Hotel's meticulous service is like a shadow. Hotel manager Zhang Xuedong greeted enthusiastically, took the initiative to help carry the luggage, and led to the front desk to check in. Because there were many people checking in at the hotel at that time. Manager Zhang Xuedong quickly entered the front desk to help me check in. After checking in, he led me upstairs and introduced the hotel's facilities and services to me with a smile. He answered every question I had patiently and meticulously, which made people feel sincere care. In the evening, Manager Zhang Xuedong personally sent small gifts, fruits, and hot porridge. I was really surprised! It was so warm. During the stay in the hotel, you can also take the room card to the second floor to soak in the hot springs, which is really cost-effective. I believe that every guest staying in Tieniu Hotel will be impressed by its charm and moved by its service. I also look forward to staying in this unforgettable five-star hotel again. We brought our kids to experience the Desert Starry Sky Capsule, and they absolutely loved the space-themed design the moment they saw it! The camp is located right in the desert, so you can go sandboarding and play in the sand right outside your door. The kids had an amazing time. The room was spotlessly clean, with plenty of hot water available 24/7, and all the amenities were comprehensive. The staff were warm and friendly, and the camp food was delicious and reasonably priced. There was also a lively bonfire party at night, and we even went stargazing in the desert. Overall, the parent-child experience was fantastic and it's highly recommended for families traveling with children!

the hotel is very very good. it's beyond my expectation... Actually we choose this hotel from very high reviews. But i have some afraid that it might be over rate reviews, but once we stay in this place. Everything here is good as other was reviewed . the mattress and pillows was the best.i even open the inside to check what is the material they use for the pillow.it really good. we found that this place is very worth for the money, they provide afternoon tea, breakfast also the dumping at night. this hotel is the best in our whole trip in inner mongolia

We stayed at Lotus Hotel for two nights and overall had a very enjoyable experience. The biggest highlight is definitely the location. The hotel is set in the middle of the desert, making it a unique and memorable destination. Reaching the resort is part of the adventure: you first take a cable car, then transfer to a jeep shuttle that brings you directly to the hotel. The hotel staff can transport your luggage for you, although it may take up to two hours before it arrives in your room. The reception area is warm and welcoming. The staff explain how the resort is organized and help guests understand the various facilities. Since the property is very large, transportation within the resort is well organized. The guest rooms are spread across different rings, and in the lower ring you can call a small train that picks you up and takes you directly to your room, which is very convenient given the long walking distances. The same service is available when returning. The hotel offers plenty of facilities for both adults and children. Near the entrance there is a buffet area, while the ground floor features several recreational spaces, including an ice-skating rink, game rooms with billiards, archery, and other activities. Outside, there is a large shaded sand play area for children with staff members available to supervise and entertain them. Throughout the resort there are also shuttle trains that can pick you up if you prefer not to walk. In the evening there are live entertainment shows, and the atmosphere is wonderful. The main dining hall is spacious, the food is good, and everything is included. There is also a hot pot restaurant on the first floor if you want an alternative dining experience. One of the most beautiful parts of the stay is the outdoor entertainment park at night. Guests walk through the desert on a beautifully illuminated wooden walkway while enjoying performances, shows, balloons, and activities for children. The evening temperatures are very pleasant, especially during summer, making it a fantastic experience. The exterior entertainment park includes many complimentary activities, such as VIP camel riding, guided off-road rides, zip lines, and a water park. Transportation between the hotel and the park is free and very efficient, with buses, themed boats, small trains, and other fun vehicles. You can easily spend one or even two days here. Most of the main activities can be experienced in one day, but there is enough to keep you entertained longer. The staff are always friendly and eager to help, and there are many employees throughout the resort. However, most of them are very young and sometimes lack experience, resulting in avoidable mistakes. Additional training would certainly improve the overall service. Another significant drawback is the language barrier. Very few staff members speak English, and during our two-night stay we found only one person who could communicate sufficiently. The room itself is simple and quite small, but that's not really the focus of this type of resort since you'll spend most of your time enjoying the activities outside. If you're looking to relax in your room, this may not be the ideal place. The bathroom definitely needs renovation. The shower was disappointing, and when we entered the room there was an unpleasant pee smell that suggested cleaning standards could be improved. Overall, the room was acceptable, but for the price I expected better housekeeping and maintenance. Despite these shortcomings, the incredible location, the wide variety of activities, and the overall experience make Lotus Hotel a destination worth visiting. I would definitely come back, probably for one night rather than two, simply because most attractions can be enjoyed in a full day. Overall, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique desert resort experience.

Aside from a slight formaldehyde smell, everything else was great. My stay was a pleasant surprise! The room was clean and bright, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and I slept soundly all night. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, proactively upgrading my room and recommending nearby restaurants. The breakfast was varied and fresh, and the location was convenient, being close to the subway station. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit this city.

It was a okay stay. 5 hours stay night. Bed was wide enough. I did not expect too much on Cleanliness. Cleanliness okay.  Close to airport.  Airport transfer and no fee On the web they have car transportation without fee and no need to book. I was waiting for the car or bus. No vehicle arrived and we had to hire a cab to get the hotel.  Reach out to hotel to book transportation. Thank you.

Awesome place for families. Family yurt was ideal and the Hero show was fantastic. The other shows and kids activities were also great. Beware limited eating choices but those there are decent enough. Ice cream and Dico’s available at the activities area. Also note you need to pay to get into the scenic area and activities/shows. We paid 268 per adult including 12 activities/shows. Kids under 1.3m are free. Oh and free to use washer/dryer was a godsend.

Having stayed in so many hotels, this is the first time I can't help but comment that this is the only hotel in the scenic area. It looks good based on the price, but only those who have stayed there know. 1. The receptionist was very enthusiastic and took my luggage on his own initiative. My first impression was quite good. As soon as I moved in, I discovered that the air conditioner was roaring loudly, the toilet button required skill - if you pressed it incorrectly the water would just keep flowing, and the sink drain was half-blocked, so after using it you had to wait for the water to flow out before you could use it again. There was a male waiter at the front desk with a bad attitude. I booked a family room for four people, and there were only two 335ml bottles of water in it. I asked for four more bottles, but he said it would be charged. This is the first time I heard that hotels charge for mineral water! The one point deducted from the service was by the male receptionist! The cleaning staff has a better attitude than the male waiter at the front desk! However, the fireworks show during the May Day holiday is still a plus!
