"During my recent stay in Ordos City, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel. It was exceptionally clean and spacious, creating a welcoming atmosphere right from the start. One of the most convenient aspects of this hotel is its prime location; it is situated near popular attractions such as Wanda Plaza, the zoo, and a variety of restaurants. Additionally, the bus stop located directly in front of the hotel makes it easy to explore the city. The comfort of the accommodations was a mixed experience, however. While the quilt provided was soft and cozy, its thickness made it uncomfortable when the air conditioning was turned off. Unfortunately, the air conditioning unit itself left much to be desired. It produced a loud, typhoon-like noise, and I found that it didn’t effectively cool the room to a comfortable temperature. Despite the issues with the air conditioning, I would still recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Ordos City. Its cleanliness, roominess, and convenient location make it a solid choice for travelers."

"I booked the hotel recommended by Ctrip as the number one luxury hotel in Ordos. Because it's a new hotel, the facilities are visibly well-maintained, with solid wood construction and decent smart technology. They even gave me a blue hada (a traditional ******* ceremonial scarf) upon check-in. However, this was the worst luxury hotel experience I've ever had, with serious management issues. 1. The air conditioning wasn't working properly. I woke up three times in the middle of the night because of the heat. The front desk told me the only way to cool down was to open the windows, as all the fans and humidifiers were already borrowed. In the end, I had to lie on the sofa with the curtains open, or even drink a beer from the mini-bar to cool down before I could fall back asleep. 2. The hotel's smart technology is terrible. The nightlight sensor turned on as soon as I turned over in bed, and the bathroom light turned on automatically when I got out of bed and didn't turn off automatically. Even after I turned off the light in the bathroom, it automatically turned back on when I walked back to the bed. I had to press sleep mode... and then there was another terrifying cascading effect: the curtains would automatically close again while in sleep mode. 3. Hygiene issues: there were obvious cigarette butts and ash in the bathroom when I checked in. And this is supposed to be a non-smoking room? 4. The new hotel had a very strong smell of renovation, especially in the Deluxe Rooms in Building B. I changed to a different room type in Building A, which was slightly better, but still somewhat unpleasant. 5. The hotel's service training was inadequate. When I called to request a room change, they didn't offer a solution immediately; they only said they would arrange for someone to come and change the room after I called a second time. Furthermore, their check-in and check-out services were not proactive. In short, this was the worst hotel experience I've had in a year (out of 200 days)."

The all-inclusive policy was a real convenience; the Sand Island and Joyful Sand Island attractions offered unlimited play with a wristband, and the exclusive skip-the-line access for guests saved a lot of waiting time. The evening activities like bonfires and stargazing created a fantastic atmosphere. The staff were warm and attentive, with meticulous and thoughtful services like luggage handling and inter-island shuttle buses, ensuring a hassle-free experience throughout our desert trip. My stay at the Xiangshawan Lotus Hotel was absolutely perfect, comfortable and pleasant throughout. The biggest surprise was the hotel's dining, which completely exceeded my expectations. The authentic Inner Mongolian beef and lamb were tender and free of ***** taste, with hand-pulled lamb and freshly roasted lamb chops tasting truly authentic. For breakfast, the Mongolian milk tea and dairy products had an authentic flavor, and the hotpot for dinner featured fresh and ample ingredients. Chinese and Western hot dishes, desserts, fruits, and beverages were available in unlimited quantities throughout the day. The Shalian Hall also provided self-service snacks and drinks from day to night. Despite being in the dry desert, the food quality was consistently high, with timely replenishment of ingredients and stable flavors. Every meal was satisfying, and we didn't have to worry about finding food elsewhere. I must particularly praise the food: the breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets offered a rich and balanced selection of dishes. The authentic Inner Mongolian beef and lamb were tender and free of ***** taste, with hand-pulled lamb and freshly roasted lamb chops tasting truly authentic. For breakfast, the Mongolian milk tea and dairy products had an authentic flavor, and the hotpot for dinner featured fresh and ample ingredients. Chinese and Western hot dishes, desserts, fruits, and beverages were available in unlimited quantities throughout the day. The Shalian Hall also provided self-service snacks and drinks from day to night. Despite being in the dry desert, the food quality was consistently high, with timely replenishment of ingredients and stable flavors. Every meal was satisfying, and we didn't have to worry about finding food elsewhere. From the desert scenery and leisure activities to the dining, everything was impeccable. This trip was extremely satisfying and definitely worth a special visit. I will choose the Lotus Hotel again next time."

"The hotel has just opened; it's high-end, with sophisticated decor and quality amenities. Since it's currently in the process of building its reputation and attracting customers on the platform, it's very affordable on Ctrip, offering great value for money. We received a free upgrade to a room with a bathtub; the room and bathroom were spacious. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety and delicious flavors. There are ample parking spaces, both above and below ground. It's close to the highway exit. Multiple elevators connect the basement to the lobby and rooms. Perhaps due to time constraints, there were some shortcomings in preparation. More ventilation is needed, and cleaning, especially of the bathroom and bedding, was not thorough. The air conditioner, even at maximum fan speed, made a vibrating sound from the vents. The duvet cover and quilt were not snug enough, making it slightly uncomfortable. There were no disposable bathtub liners. Check-out took a long time because housekeeping needed to thoroughly inspect the room before the front desk could refund the deposit. The surrounding environment is good, quiet, and spacious. Access is very convenient. Overall, it was a very good experience!"

The value for money was outstanding, and this thoughtful upgrade made us feel truly valued.
