I had a truly wonderful stay at Healing Stay. The place itself is beautifulâcalm, peaceful, and almost enchanting. Thereâs a small garden with a tangerine tree that gives the whole space a magical, serene vibe.
The room was spotless and very well-maintained, with all the amenities as stated. It was comfortable and made the stay even more enjoyable.
A special mention to Miss Jean, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She took the time to clearly explain everything to us and made a great effort to communicate in Englishâkudos to her for that. On the morning of our checkout, she went above and beyond by preparing a handmade vegetarian wrap using fresh Korean ingredients. She was thoughtful enough to check if we had any allergies or dietary restrictions. She also gave us a tumbler of black soya drink, which was such a kind and personal touch.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Healing StayâI absolutely loved it.
Improvement:
The warm water pressure from the shower wasnât very consistent, but it was a small issue compared to the overall experience.

The hotel is situated next to a golf course, offering a peaceful and quiet environment even during the day. The room was spacious and well-appointed; however, it tended to be warm at night due to the centralized air conditioning being set to heating mode. Sliding open the balcony door provided a welcome flow of cool, natural air.
There is a self-managed GS25 convenience store located in the lobbyâperfect for grabbing snacks or daily necessities. The hotel also provides plenty of open-air parking spaces right in front of the building, which is convenient for guests with vehicles.
While the location is ideal for sightseeingâclose to the OâSulloc Green Tea Museum, Innisfree Jeju House, and Jeju Premium Outlet adjacent to Shinhwa World Resortâitâs worth noting that the surrounding area within the hotel becomes quite dimly lit at night. Whether walking or driving, guests should exercise extra caution in the evenings due to the limited lighting.
The hotel is also approximately a 35-minute drive from three of Jejuâs most iconic natural landmarks: Jeongbang Waterfall, Daepo Jusangjeolli Cliff, and Cheonjeyeon Waterfall.

Guest UserFirst, my initial thoughts: I was prepared for a 'prison-like' room before checking in, but staying here, I actually found the room small but cozy! Coupled with other advantages, the actual experience exceeded my expectations.
Now, for the pros:
1. **Rich Community Facilities:** Besides the accommodation buildings, there's a standalone coffee shop, a standalone small bar (received a free beer voucher upon check-in), a GS25 convenience store (the female staff member was very friendly), a gift shop (at the front desk), and a breakfast/lunch restaurant (you can get a discount if you purchase breakfast at the front desk a day in advance).
2. **Excellent Location for Olle Trail 1:** It's very convenient for those doing Olle Trail Route 1. You can walk to Gwangchigi Beach, the starting point of Route 1, in about 10 minutes.
3. **Friendly Staff:** All the service staff were very friendly and could communicate well in English.
4. **Spacious Bathroom:** Although the room itself was small, the bathroom and shower area were quite spacious.
5. **Free Airport Shuttle:** This was an incredibly valuable service. I took the 10:30 AM shuttle to the airport. No reservation was needed, the bus arrived on time, and it took about an hour to reach the airport.
Areas for improvement:
1. **Lack of Hooks in Room:** My room had no hooks, except for two small ones in the toilet. I suggest adding one more in the main room without taking up extra space (I saw some other smaller room types had them).
2. **Soap Dispenser Design:** The hand soap dispenser had a short pump, which was inconvenient to use when my hands were dirty. A longer nozzle would be much better.
Overall, it was a very good stay. I would consider staying here again if I plan to do other Olle trails on the Seongsan side.

Guest UserThe room was spacious and bright, with excellent facilities. Both the pool and gym were quite good. Breakfast was plentiful, mainly Western-style, and truly top-tier for a 'Western-style meal'. The croissant was the best I've had in any Asian hotel. The hotel is right by the sea, and an evening stroll along the coast was delightful.

This is huge 3 bedroom unit, walking distance to sea and cafes. Cleanliness was exceptional. Nice bath tube with TV. All the dishes forks, fry pan and rice cooker. Pretty much ready to live home.
Downside was a moldy smell throughout the house, so we had to periodically ventilate. On request to replace the unit we were told a long complicated story of what we would need to endure and lose some options so we didnât go for it. Also, they told a secret - hotel apartments are being sold to private buyers so only first floor ones left (can enter through door at deck). But they also have a few on a second floor (hard to get).
Table tennis was enjoyable, having your rackets is better. The billiard was without holes - very unexpected and not as enjoyable for family. There is also good gym and micro mart. No other facilities present.
Great location, however a bit windy - easy to drain your energy and catch flu in winter - so moving by car is still preferable. The chain of restaurants is 1km away and nothing to eat indoors (can order, a few options in Shuttle app).
Great stay overall.

The rooms were very clean. The only downside is the location by the harbor, and the roads leading to it are a bit narrow and tricky to navigate right now. Overall, I'd recommend it, especially if you're a large family looking for a good stay.

Guest UserFirst of all - the perfect stay, favouriting. This is pretty much a two-floor townhouse with widest possible 3 bed rooms and all facilities included (plus three toilets and bath-tube). Very warm at winter. Very enjoyable stay.
A bit of details. The unit is a part of mini-city of similar houses around. It is built right in the forest. The architects were brave enough to keep original trees around, so your windows are looking directly into the forest - with all the singing birds, tree branches nearly touch your windows (btw, the third photo is from one of the windows). It is very silent place, with breathtaking volcano views.
From facilities point of view, the project looks like suffered from financial hardship - most of the things in the minicity that were planned - are still on the plan or were outsourced to another companies (though, I am sure, once the project is completed - the price will double at least). There is no restaurant as such (at the time of writing), at or even around the place; swimming pool is largely incomplete. The BBQ mini-room in the center of the house (which is directly under naked sky) totally rot beyond repair, but I admire designers decision to build it. Never saw anything like this before. I bet it can be rebuilt.
Deliveries to that area does not work - too far. So if you hungry at night - you don't have too much of options than a ramyon or cooking yourself (saying this, we discovered ě´ěšě
ěëš next door - saved us greatly at lunch time). Gym equipment looked very rich, though the gym room is a bit disproportional in size - barely fits it all. Btw, we found a great table tennis table there.
Overall it's a great civilization escape. Few things to be planned ahead but waking up by the sun shining directly to your eyes - unbeatable. I believe it's the one, where wife's and husband's opinions differ :).

SawtaiKensington Resort Seogwipo offers very spacious rooms with a mix of Western beds and traditional Korean floor bedding, which is great for families or travelers who want both styles. The inâroom kitchen is convenient, especially with a 24âhour convenience store located inside the hotel for quick snacks or simple cooking ingredients. Staff service was responsive â when small issues occurred, such as a loose screw in the toilet area and a problem with the main door lock, the team came quickly to fix them.
However, some parts of the hotel feel dated and would benefit from refurbishment. The Korean floor blankets are thin and worn, making floor sleeping less comfortable, though the Western bed is fine. Towels are small and greyish, and extra towels come with an additional charge unless you exchange them before 9:30, which may surprise some guests. Breakfast and pool access are also on the expensive side, with the pool costing 19,000 won even for hotel guests.
Overall, Kensington Jeju has friendly staff, large rooms, and useful amenities, but the property shows signs of age and has a few unexpected extra charges. Itâs a practical stay for families and longâterm travelers, as long as expectations are set for older facilities.

Guest UserDuring the Mother's Day long weekend, it was incredibly comfortable to stay in such a spacious hotel with three beds and hot shower water, all for just 2300 per night. It even had a dining table and a kitchen island. While it's not a luxury hotel, it was truly comfortable. It's close to Jeongbang Waterfall and Olle Market. The best part is that if you walk uphill, there are tons of cheap restaurants, and the black pork BBQ across the street is also quite good. There's a CU downstairs, but its opening hours are inconsistent. If you turn right when you exit the hotel, there's a local convenience store that's very authentic and has a wide variety of items.

The breakfast menu was great. There are cracked floor tiles, wall tiles, damaged wall, fridge and freezer door unable to close properly. Toilet doors unable to close fully. But overall, still acceptable for stay.
