NNestor Rey PaglinawanThe hotel is in the heart of the city with everything you need from food, amenities and parties. The hotel itself is strategically located where people are usually gathered (just beside Ayala mall, Sugbo Merkado (my favourite) and any other establishments. The staff are all amazing and friendly. The check-in and check-out process was smoth. Although, when we arrived in the hotel on the first day, many people were on the reception and they were a bit loud, staff could have control the situation. The breakfast buffet was okay, however the bacon were mostly crispy even if it was on the tray for soft bacon ;( still crispy. The pool on the rooftop is superb, big and very clean. Overall, we had a lovely holiday in Cebu and Seda Central Bloc hotel made it even special. Thanks Seda.

MMzcindyongI recently stayed at Bluewater Maribago and had an overall pleasant experience. The resort offers a relaxing atmosphere with strong hospitality standards and several standout features, though there are also areas that could benefit from improvement.
What I Liked
1. Excellent service and hospitality, especially at the Oyster Bar. The staff were attentive, warm, and professional, which truly elevated the dining experience.
2. Newly refurbished modern rooms that feel fresh, clean, and well-designed for comfort.
3. Convenient buggy service around the property, which makes getting around easy and enjoyable.
4. Lifeguards stationed at all pools and swimming areas, providing reassurance and a strong sense of safety for guests.
5. Anuma Spa’s ambience and treatment selection, which offer a relaxing environment with a wide range of spa services to choose from.
Areas for Improvement
1. Breakfast management during peak hours needs significant improvement. Around 8:30 AM, the breakfast area becomes very busy, and food replenishment is slow. For example, while there are three hot steamers dedicated to eggs, bacon — a hot favorite — is served on a small plate that gets wiped out within seconds. Food supply and quality control during peak periods should be better managed to ensure consistency. The bread selection, however, is excellent and deserves recognition.
2. Security procedures may unintentionally compromise guest privacy. Guests are frequently asked to state their room number when leaving the lobby, and again when entering through the guardhouse — first to taxi drivers and then to security officers. This means multiple strangers may overhear room numbers, which raises safety and privacy concerns. A more discreet verification process would enhance guest security.
3. Spa promotions for in-house guests are lacking. While the spa experience is excellent, there are currently no exclusive perks for staying guests. Introducing options such as an early bird discount (e.g., 10:00 AM–3:00 PM) or curated half-day and full-day “head-to-toe recharge” packages would be attractive. The spa pricing is relatively high compared to comparable standard spas outside the hotel, so value-added incentives for in-house guests would make the experience even more appealing.
Overall, Bluewater Maribago offers a comfortable and well-maintained resort experience with strong service standards. With improvements in breakfast management, privacy-focused security procedures, and enhanced spa promotions for in-house guests, the resort could further elevate its guest experience.

VVadim AThis is a really good option with a good location, not far from the shopping center and lots of cafes and restaurants. The staff is a very professional, helpfull and friendly. The breakfast is good and various, only a few moments were negative: it was a smell of humidity in the room and furniture was old, but the condition was good. And there wasn’t the microwave in the room and the fridge didn’t work.

JJesse AcasoI'm kinda disappointed in my stay here because the fact that I compared this branch with Panglao branch, so i was expecting the same amenities. The service were the same all smiles to all the customers but I'm disappointed for the amenities because my room doesn't have hot shower and the building needs for detailed upgrade. I booked on this building as I was hoping it's newly renovated the place was new however some furniture way outdated and needs a more thorough upgrade. Love the earth restaurant still 🩷🧡💛

MMica Lezah AlforqueAs a resident of Lapu-Lapu, I understand how important it is to find a comforting staycation spot, especially when traveling with kids. Solea is one such place that offers a welcoming environment. Children can have a delightful time exploring the various swimming pools.
The food is enjoyable, and the serving portions are fair for the price. I recommend trying their pancit; it’s truly delicious.
The rooftop bar feels cozy and relaxing. If you want to unwind after a busy day, it’s a great place to stay. While the wine selection is limited, the warm ambiance makes up for it.
The rooms are decent. We did encounter a broken bidet, but it was manageable and didn’t overshadow our stay.
One aspect I wasn’t particularly pleased with was the beach. It seemed somewhat neglected, with an abundance of weeds. With better maintenance, it could truly reach its full potential.
Overall, our experience was wonderful, and I hope future visitors can enjoy it as much as we did.

BBaimajunzai2000Facilities: Hot water shower and air conditioning are good. But there are no other facilities in the room, no kettle, no hair dryer. You need to bring your own kettle, or go to the front desk to get a cup and pour water.
Hygiene: The room is cleaned every day, but the swimming pool is open 24 hours a day. I don’t know how to maintain it, so I didn’t dare to go to the swimming pool. Fortunately, it’s close to the sea, so you can just swim in the sea.
Environment: Both entering and exiting require a long and rugged road. Close to the sea, you can go snorkeling. It's just a hotel, without any star-level services provided, and there is a service fee charged at the end. It is incorrect to list it as a top-ranked local four-star hotel on Ctrip. There should be more options.
Service: Unlike the diving shops in Bohol, there is no safety officer here. We took part in the snorkeling activity, because we went with divers, the guide was not very enthusiastic. There is no introduction leaflet for the event to refer to.
However, it is indeed convenient to go to see the sardines. You can just take a boat and join the activity to get there. No need to go around town.
Special reminder: this fee is not deducted by Ctrip, you need to pay in cash at the store. There is a reminder in the order, please be sure to bring enough cash.

FFamilyonvacationWe stayed for 2 nights. It was decent value for money. But lots of small giggles...our room was right kn top of the area that served bfast. Trolleys bringing food in made a lot of noise from 5 am! Towels were not freely available! Choice of food for vegetarians is limited.

View and waters are amazing, food was included in our stay (breakfast and dinner) and there are many free activities to take part. The view are spectacular! The rooms were clean and spacious for 2 pax- can fit up to 4 pax.
Favorite activity was to fish from the lagoon and watch the baby shark (white shark) feeding at 1130am and chilling at the hammock infront of the rooms.
Massages are quality if you want some wave asmr as they are done in the outdoor huts but only can do 1 hour blocks and require quick booking/advance booking as the masseuses are limited.
wifi connections are good islandwise but it’s more of chillax resort. The rooms have netflix and youtube.
do bring some night snacks or simple lunch as their restaurants close early at 9pm and ferry out are only during the lunch time

GGuest UserRoom is not worth the price paid. Paid for 2 additional persons but no toiletries were added for them in contrast to what the staff said about additional guests. Some amenities are not available. No bikes, for game room access, you’re only given 30 mins for table tennis (that’s it for the whole family). Not everyone can use the inflatable slides (only for the two guests). P.S. Booked 2 rooms + 2 additional guests.
