GGuest UserWe stayed at the Shanghai-La Mactan Cebu for a week. The resort is absolutely gorgeous with incredible employees- everyone is helpful and courteous. The resort has multiple daily activities including snorkeling which were great. We tried most of the restaurants and they were great! Acqua which was Italian was tasty ; Buko Bar was also yummy! Highly recommended for a relaxing hotel with good pools and calm environment.

**Location**: Nestled on a pristine beach, the resort offers breathtaking views of the turquoise waters and lush greenery. The serene environment is perfect for relaxation, and the nearby attractions, including stunning waterfalls, are easily accessible.
**Staff Behavior**: The staff at Badian Island were exceptional. From the moment we arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and attentive to our needs. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, providing personalized service that truly made us feel special.
**Food**: The dining experience was delightful! The restaurant offered a diverse menu featuring local and international cuisine, all expertly prepared and beautifully presented. Each meal was a culinary journey, and we particularly enjoyed the fresh seafood and traditional Filipino dishes.
**Special Touch**: We also celebrated our son's birthday during our stay, and the resort graciously arranged a small cake for us. It was a lovely surprise for him that made the day even more beautiful.
Overall, my stay at Badian Island Wellness Resort was nothing short of magical. The combination of stunning location, outstanding service, and delicious food made it a truly memorable getaway. I can't wait to return!

PPatriP124I would definitely recommend the hotel; it was very well located. All the staff from different areas were amazingly kind to us, and they helped us with everything, making our stay easier and simpler. We were also there when the earthquake happened and all the stuff was very well prepared to calm down everybody and did their out most to make us feel safe. The food was also very good. Whole family had a great time there.

GGuest UserOverall, excellent, really friendly and perfect for relaxing. The lagoon was fantastic, you could float on top of it for hours watching the sky change color. There's an on site bakery, food generally good and 24/7 service. Def worth the money. Lots of readily available activities to do too. Great service.

BBaimajunzai2000Facilities: Hot water shower and air conditioning are good. But there are no other facilities in the room, no kettle, no hair dryer. You need to bring your own kettle, or go to the front desk to get a cup and pour water.
Hygiene: The room is cleaned every day, but the swimming pool is open 24 hours a day. I don’t know how to maintain it, so I didn’t dare to go to the swimming pool. Fortunately, it’s close to the sea, so you can just swim in the sea.
Environment: Both entering and exiting require a long and rugged road. Close to the sea, you can go snorkeling. It's just a hotel, without any star-level services provided, and there is a service fee charged at the end. It is incorrect to list it as a top-ranked local four-star hotel on Ctrip. There should be more options.
Service: Unlike the diving shops in Bohol, there is no safety officer here. We took part in the snorkeling activity, because we went with divers, the guide was not very enthusiastic. There is no introduction leaflet for the event to refer to.
However, it is indeed convenient to go to see the sardines. You can just take a boat and join the activity to get there. No need to go around town.
Special reminder: this fee is not deducted by Ctrip, you need to pay in cash at the store. There is a reminder in the order, please be sure to bring enough cash.

GGuest UserAlthough this hotel is between ‘ports’ that make up the Cebu coast and between the whale watching areas, I’d highly recommend this place.
After requesting a room with a view, I was not disappointed! My own private balcony overlooking the beach and waves lapping to send me off to sleep.
Arriving late, the amazing and friendly staff kept the kitchen open for me and I was reminded of the friendly reputation of the Philippines people.
Now one surprise was the 250 odd steps one needs to get to your rooms - but the view alone is worth it and the staff have a pulley system to send your luggage up or down for your convenience! And silver lining, the steps means no need for holiday exercise!

MmmarAmazing location right next to the beach, spacious balcony (with a line to hang wet clothes) overlooking beach on either west or east side. Friendly staff and nice breakfast. No WiFi in the room available though, have to go reception area for WiFi. The room is clean but I did find two cockroaches (one of those damaged the O-rings on my diving flashlight when it was drying overnight) and there were ants on the balcony and bathroom too. There was no big bucket to soak swimming/diving equipment that many other hotels provide, you can use the ones at dive shops but I would prefer if there was bucket big enough to put camera/computer/mask/clothes etc in and soak it in warm water for an hour. Overall it's good value for the price.

SShai MoralesThis is our second time spending our staycation. What I loved about this place are the trees, pool and beach. The architectural landscape is so relaxing. There are lots of pools. The views are instagrammable everywhere. You can go outside anytime you want without worries of the UV sun rays because of the shades from trees. There are lots of staffs served our needs including the interns and they did it excellently and politely.
I used to surprised my husband with a birthday cake in our breakfast buffet and the staffs accommodated my request to sing a ”Happy birthday” song for him with a cake. To my gratefulness, we just took a little slice of a cake and gave the rest to the staffs. I went to many resorts in the Philippines and this is one of my favorite. I will definitely be back soon.
