Amazing
GGuest UserOverall, the stay was very pleasant.
The view from the room's window, with the miniature train passing by, was a delightful surprise, especially for railway enthusiasts or those looking to experience the local atmosphere.
The location is incredibly convenient, not far from the main street and the train station, making it easy to get around on foot or by other means. It offers just the right amount of amenities.
The breakfast selection isn't huge, but the food is quite palatable. It's perfectly fine for a simple breakfast to refuel.
The minor drawback is that if you shower late in the evening, the hot water temperature can be a bit insufficient. Given Sa Pa's cooler weather, you might shiver a little after showering. I'd suggest showering earlier or for the hotel to improve the hot water consistency.
Overall, it was still a comfortable stay. The location and window view are definitely worth it. If the hot water issue could be resolved, it would be even better.
小小組遊The waiter was very attentive in the morning and could arrange an early CI, allowing us to make up for the fatigue caused by the bus in the evening.
The room is elegantly decorated with a bookish feel and has a terrace with a view of the street below. The waiter would remove our shoes before ushering us into the room to avoid staining our room. But there was a slight smell in the bathroom for a short period of time every night.
The waiter also prepared delicious fruits for us.
The waiter assisted the driver to pick us up at the door of the hotel and board the car. Fansipan travel information is also provided.
The hotel has a rich breakfast, including sun-roasted eggs and rice noodles, which are delicious.
HHazyzPros
- Smooth liaising with the hotel through WhatsApp/instagram & trip.com itself even before our trip, very responsive & helpful in answering our queries & concerns
- We arrived in Sapa early in the morning & appreciate that we're able to check in early
- The room was very clean & cozy
- Friendly receptionist that catered to our needs
- Excellent service with morning call & offer for bellboy service to carry our luggages up to the lobby when we had to check out much earlier
- Room cleanup service was quick but also unexpected, as we went for breakfast & came back to a cleaned room. It would be nice if laxsik had a door tag for us to indicate if we wanted 'room service' or not
- We had to check out quite early in the morning, laxsik offered to give us a complete set of takeaway breakfast with fruits, sandwiches & bottled water
Cons
- We stayed in the family bungalow with 2 bedrooms & bathrooms, there was no shower gel for one of the rooms & no conditioner for the other room, it would be great if both rooms had the same amenities
- Some tiles on the bathroom ceiling of house 10 were not intact completely hence it felt unsafe & cold air seeped in which turned the bathroom very chilly
Overall we had a pleasant stay at laxsik despite the view being blocked by the fog for most of our stay, the accommodations made up for it. Do take note that it is a 10-15mins drive to Sapa town so expect to pay 200,000 vnd for a taxi. The receptionist will help you book a driver if you aren't able to get a Grab from accommodations to town. Getting Grab from Sapa town to the accommodations was quite easy. The fireplace in the lodge is highly recommended if you are staying during the cold season! We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and warmed our hearts and bodies.
YYeh YI would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Sapa Passion Hotel and Spa. They say they aim to provide “a home away from home,” and they truly delivered on that promise.
From the moment we arrived in Sapa early in the morning, the staff kindly allowed us to check in early. After an overnight sleeper train, being able to rest a little before exploring Sapa was such a blessing. As soon as we entered the room, we were amazed by its spaciousness and cleanliness, and the clear view of the lake from our window was simply beautiful.
The receptionist also suggested several local activities for us, and although we couldn’t join due to the weather, we truly appreciated her thoughtful recommendations.
On our departure day, we took a night bus out of Sapa, and the hotel generously let us use their bathroom to freshen up before our journey. It made our departure so much more comfortable.
We felt genuinely cared for during our entire stay, and I sincerely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sapa.
IimnotpurpleThe hotel is conveniently located and within walking distance to Sapa center, though be prepared for steep streets when walking.
The staff, especially at the front desk, are friendly and can communicate well in English, which made our stay easier. Breakfast was decent and satisfactory.
However, the spa services in the hotel are quite expensive. There are several nearby spas offering more affordable options, which we ended up choosing instead.
One concern during our stay was the room’s safety. The bathroom window lock was broken, which made us feel uneasy, and the main door did not have a double lock for added security.
Overall, the stay was generally good in terms of location and service, but there is room for improvement, particularly in maintenance and security.
MmrHuge Thanks to the receptionist Kelvin and room boy top notch service with extra miles handling our luggage. please give both of them a big bonus this year's performance review. 7 ⭐
For the management attention, the hotel room allocated for us at building 2 was damp not fresh. 3 ⭐ only!
AAmilrozanI had a wonderful stay at Joville Hotel in Sapa, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The place itself is clean, comfortable, and offers great value for money—but what really made my experience unforgettable was the staff.
They were incredibly friendly, warm, and always ready to help with a genuine smile. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel welcome and well taken care of. Whether it was assisting with directions, arranging transportation, or simply checking in to make sure everything was okay, their level of care and attentiveness was exceptional.
It’s rare to find such accommodating and kind service, and it definitely made my trip more enjoyable and stress-free. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sapa, and I would gladly stay here again.
DDeeeeengdongIt’s quite far from the downtown area, and the road has a lot of steep slopes, so walking from the city center to the hotel is difficult.
However, it’s close to Cat Cat Village, making it easy to visit on foot, and you can even see part of the village from the hotel. ^^
I looked at all the hotels in Sapa with a swimming pool, and this one is definitely in the top three.
I also liked that they have shower facilities available after swimming or even after check-in/check-out.
JjohnslongIdeal location, less than 100 meters to the lake. Clean rooms, friendly english speaking staff. And breakfast was good, though finishing at 9am is a little earlier than usual.

Very Good
GGuest UserHotel was very nice and clean and modern. Staff was super helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was really good. Hotel was a little far to walk from city center because weather was so cold and wet and it was uphill but it was very easy to get an electric car or taxi. Staff always ready to help even beyond their job. Shoutout especially to David for helping me with my problem with my next booking. Thanks so much. We really enjoyed our stay.
