"I had a wonderful stay at Tiger Sapa Hotel during my solo trip to Sapa. From the moment I arrived very early in the morning after an overnight sleeper bus journey, the staff made me feel welcome and cared for. Although my room was not yet ready, they kindly offered me tea and a comfortable place to rest while waiting. During my stay, there was a minor issue with my room, but the staff handled it promptly and professionally. While waiting for the matter to be resolved, they thoughtfully arranged a complimentary foot bath and foot massage for me. This level of care and hospitality truly exceeded my expectations. I would especially like to thank Linh at the reception. He was incredibly kind, professional, and always greeted me with a warm smile. I would also like to thank another lovely staff member whose name I unfortunately did not get. She shared about her beautiful family with me and was so warm and friendly. These small personal interactions made my stay even more memorable and reminded me of the kindness of the local people. As a final touch, when I checked out for my journey back, the staff surprised me with a banana, water and a chocolate cookie as a parting gift. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a lovely way to end my stay. The hotel’s location is convenient, the rooms are comfortable, and the hospitality is truly exceptional. As a solo traveler, I felt safe, welcomed, and genuinely cared for throughout my stay. Thank you to Linh and the entire Tiger Sapa Hotel team for making my Sapa experience so special. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sapa."
Hotel de la Coupole Sapa - MGallery Collection
"Very artsy hotel with art deco(?) details and style. Surprisingly, this hotel was built not so long ago. The decor had me fooled. haha. Room was pretty small, my room type had inward facing balcony with glass sliding doors. Pretty annoying as guests walking the elevator corridor could see into your rooms. Welcome drink was a hot choco! Breakfast hall was huge and pretty, with varied options. Tasted so-so tho (pretty disappointed with the taste, but the view and the interior was eye-pleasing so there's that). Coffee was good as always (you're in Vietnam!). Tried out their bar (Absinthe), which was listed as 'award-winning' or Asia's Top XX Bar (forget by which platform) to be disappointed with the drink collection. Cocktails were subpar at best. The hotel offers discounted VIP pass tickets to the Sunworld Fansipan area, you can purchase it at the front desk. Indoor pool was pretty but very humid (its a warm water pool). Directly connected to the Sapa Station, near shops and eateries. Pretty far from the actual Sapa market (Cho) and the lake. Overall an ok stay."

"The stay was wonderful. Room is cozy and toilet is clean too. Had the sofa bed for my daughter. Great views of hills in the morning. Enjoyed the pool and good morning breakfast from set menus. Loved their pancakes. Pearline was very helpful in keeping me updated even before we arrived. We came in midnight by bus and our key was at the reception with videos sent us to find our way to rooms. We got motorbike rental for all 3 days we stayed and she was helpful with suggestions. Overall we loved sapa and also the JK homestay too. I would highly recommend!"

"The staff is friendly and helpful. It's a pretty modern looking and decent mountain view. Breakfast is also pretty decent for me. There are a couple of downsides. One BIG downside is the smell. Even before I walked into the hotel, I smelled something horrible. I ignored it as the smell disappeared as I got into the lobby. Then I smelled the same horrible smell in my bathroom. I had to keep the toilet shut and the bathroom door shut. Sometimes I smell it when I'm out on the balcony. In the hotel defense, I don't smell it all the time but most of the time. I complained to the hotel about it and they said they will fix it. Somehow the smell disappeared for several hours. Two is the hot water does not stay warm for the whole shower (one evening there was no water for 15-30 min due to the maintenance and we were not informed ahead of time and I was not in the middle of the shower so I got lucky) I'd check the other people's recent reviews to see if this smell issue is resolved until then I'd probably not come back to this place."

The Mong Garden Homestay SaPa
"This homestay is incredibly excellent. First of all, the location is mountain-facing, almost all the rooms could enjoy nice view. There is also a lot of facilities to chill here, including a nice cafe shop, however you could sit here for free if you don’t buy any drink! Other than that, the most beautiful thing is the human! A chubby little guy is incredibly friendly and helpful! He answered us a lot of questions and has been helping us along the journey, which was like our tour guide! However, please be noted that we could speak local language and have rented a bike with us, so everything is smoother and easier. Location-wise, the homestay is around 5-7mins away from the city centre, if you couldn’t bike, maybe it’s a little bit troublesome (Bike rental is available here)! Overall, this is a very nice place! Recommend!"
