GGuest UserThe hotel is nice and beautiful, with great views, comfortable rooms, and a good breakfast. Unfortunately, it was cloudy for all three days of our stay, so we didn't get to enjoy the views.
There were a few issues that somewhat spoiled the trip.
The heated pool is only indoors, and even then it wasn't warm enough to be comfortable. The outdoor pool was cold, making it impossible to swim. The saunas are separate for men and women, but you have to switch them on yourself and wait for them to heat up. There's a salt room, but access to it, as well as the warmer jacuzzis (which are also separate), costs extra.
On our last day, the main pool was out of order altogether.
I also wasn't pleased that despite requesting a quiet room when booking, and even though there were many empty rooms, there was a speaker right outside our window playing music from about 7 AM until almost 11 PM (thankfully it was calm music), even though no one was outside. I had to call reception and ask them to turn it off. They did, but then a staff member came to our room for an additional check, which was inconvenient as we had already gone to bed.
Furthermore, the rooms and the entire hotel were quite cold; the air conditioning couldn't be adjusted to a higher temperature.
The double bed was two single beds pushed together.
We had dinner at the restaurant. The food was ordinary, like everywhere else, but overpriced. Plus, it didn't include taxes and service charges, so the bill ended up being 15-20% higher.
We were granted early check-in, but we had to pay half the room rate for it, and it didn't include breakfast.
In summary, the hotel doesn't live up to its advertised price and star rating.
