Guest UserFrom the moment I arrived, this hotel exceeded all my expectations from luxurious rooms, elegant décor, plush bedding, and calming tones made for a perfect retreat. The room was spotlessly clean and the view from the balcony was speechless. Well-equipped wellness amenities, a serene spa with hot and cold jacuzzi, a huge steam room, sauna and a refreshing heated swimming pool over looking the mountains.
What truly set this stay apart was the hotel’s client ambassador Ms Alissa, a genuinely attentive professional who acted like a personal concierge throughout my stay who provides proactive updates on local tourist conditions and attend to my needs be it arranging for high tea and booking of spa services. Each day, I received timely briefings on weather patterns and conditions at nearby tourist spots. This insightful information helped me plan my outings with confidence. Last but not least, the GM, Steven Tan was so warm, ensuring the guest are comfortable during breakfast time. He is from Singapore by the way and had been running the resort for 8 years. Great job Steven!!
My overall experience (Excellent)
The hotel’s ambiance was welcoming and polished striking the ideal balance between luxury and comfort. The facilities made it easy to unwind, stay active, and explore the tourist place with confidence. The client ambassador’s attentive, almost personal-concierge approach elevated the stay from excellent to unforgettable. I left with wonderful memories and a strong sense of having experienced truly thoughtful hospitality and will surely come back again later this year to explore places that I have did not visit.

HeyarhgraciesThis place is amazing. They stay true to their words - to be eco-friendly and reduce wastage. Nam and his team were very helpful and Nam is exceptionally attentive to our needs. The room is exactly the same as the photos on Trip.com and we received a pleasant surprise with a beautifully decorated bed when they know that it’s our wedding anniversary.
The common area has a fireplace where guests can gather around and have small conversations. The food and drinks (including cocktails) were so good that almost every day we would rather stay at the resort to have our meals. Nam makes great cocktails!
Lastly, there is a resident dog, as well as a cat. Both are adorable and love to be around people. Our stay with Eco Palm House is amazing. Great place, great view, and great people! We will certainly recommend to our family and friends. Hope we are also able to visit and stay here again!

NicoleSGThe hotel is in a great location, and the room was well presented, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was also very good, offering a wide variety of both Western and Asian dishes. One of the highlights was the beautiful landscape views from the restaurant.
However, I had two concerning experiences during my stay. On the third day, my key chain, which held the keys to all of my suitcases, went missing. Fortunately, nothing was stolen. I also encountered an issue with the in-room safe: the code I had set worked when I first locked my valuables inside, but later it would no longer open the safe. Again, nothing was missing once the issue was resolved.
I have been travelling for nearly two months, staying in multiple hotels across three other countries, and I have never had belongings go missing or experienced any problems with a hotel safe before. I can't say what caused these incidents, but they were certainly unsettling.
That said, the staff were supportive and did their best to help resolve both issues, which I appreciated. Overall, I would recommend the hotel, but with some caution based on my experience.

D Home Sapa: A Memorable Stay in Charming Bungalows
My recent stay at D Home Sapa was truly a delightful experience, marked by beautiful scenery, comfortable accommodations, and warm hospitality. Nestled in the stunning landscape of Sapa, this property offers a unique combination of rustic charm and modern amenities that makes it a perfect retreat for travelers seeking both relaxation and adventure.
Breathtaking Views and Tranquil Atmosphere
One of the most remarkable features of D Home Sapa is its breathtaking views. The bungalows are strategically positioned to provide splendid panoramas of the lush terraced rice fields and towering mountains that characterize the region. Each morning, I was greeted by the stunning sight of the sun rising over the hills, painting the landscape in hues of gold and green. The tranquil atmosphere surrounding the bungalows invites guests to unwind and appreciate the natural beauty that Sapa is renowned for.
Comfortable Accommodations
The bungalows themselves are cozy and well-appointed, providing a welcoming retreat after a day of exploration. My accommodations featured comfortable bedding, tasteful decor, and essential amenities that ensured a pleasant stay. The wooden interiors gave the bungalows a warm and homey feel, while modern touches added convenience without compromising the rustic charm. I particularly appreciated the spacious balcony that came with my bungalow, where I enjoyed morning coffee and absorbed the serene views.
Warm Hospitality and Friendly Staff
The staff at D Home Sapa were genuinely friendly and attentive, significantly enhancing my experience. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel welcome and at home. They were eager to assist with any requests, providing valuable recommendations for local attractions, trekking routes, and dining options. Their deep knowledge of the area and willingness to share insights added a personal touch that made my stay even more enjoyable.
Access to Activities and Local Culture
D Home Sapa serves as an excellent base for exploring the vibrant culture and stunning landscapes of the region. The property is conveniently located near various trekking paths that meander through picturesque villages, where you can immerse yourself in the local culture and interact with the warm-hearted hill tribes.
During my stay, I embarked on a trekking tour that was organized by the staff, allowing me to discover the hidden gems of Sapa and witness the traditional lifestyles of the local communities. The experience was enriching and offered a great blend of adventure and cultural immersion.
Culinary Delights
Dining at D Home Sapa was another highlight of my stay. The on-site restaurant showcased a menu filled with delicious local and international dishes. Each meal I enjoyed was expertly prepared, featuring fresh and locally sourced ingredients. Having the option to dine while gazing at the stunning landscapes only added to the overall experience.
Conclusion: A Hidden Gem in Sapa
In conclusion, my time at D Home Sapa exceeded all expectations. The combination of breathtaking views, comfortable bungalows, attentive staff, and access to local culture made for an unforgettable stay. If you’re looking for a serene getaway in the heart of Sapa, I highly recommend D Home Sapa for its charm and hospitality. We had a truly fantastic stay at the Homestay. The room offered an incredibly beautiful panoramic view, and the family was super friendly. We were even invited to join them for dinner one evening and had a really fun night. The owner also offered us various tours we could book through him.
The breakfast was excellent, there was hot water in the bathroom, and the duvets were nice and warm, making it perfect even on cold nights.

HazyzPros
- Smooth liaising with the hotel through WhatsApp/instagram & trip.com itself even before our trip, very responsive & helpful in answering our queries & concerns
- We arrived in Sapa early in the morning & appreciate that we're able to check in early
- The room was very clean & cozy
- Friendly receptionist that catered to our needs
- Excellent service with morning call & offer for bellboy service to carry our luggages up to the lobby when we had to check out much earlier
- Room cleanup service was quick but also unexpected, as we went for breakfast & came back to a cleaned room. It would be nice if laxsik had a door tag for us to indicate if we wanted 'room service' or not
- We had to check out quite early in the morning, laxsik offered to give us a complete set of takeaway breakfast with fruits, sandwiches & bottled water
Cons
- We stayed in the family bungalow with 2 bedrooms & bathrooms, there was no shower gel for one of the rooms & no conditioner for the other room, it would be great if both rooms had the same amenities
- Some tiles on the bathroom ceiling of house 10 were not intact completely hence it felt unsafe & cold air seeped in which turned the bathroom very chilly
Overall we had a pleasant stay at laxsik despite the view being blocked by the fog for most of our stay, the accommodations made up for it. Do take note that it is a 10-15mins drive to Sapa town so expect to pay 200,000 vnd for a taxi. The receptionist will help you book a driver if you aren't able to get a Grab from accommodations to town. Getting Grab from Sapa town to the accommodations was quite easy. The fireplace in the lodge is highly recommended if you are staying during the cold season! We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and warmed our hearts and bodies.

It’s quite far from the downtown area, and the road has a lot of steep slopes, so walking from the city center to the hotel is difficult.
However, it’s close to Cat Cat Village, making it easy to visit on foot, and you can even see part of the village from the hotel. ^^
I looked at all the hotels in Sapa with a swimming pool, and this one is definitely in the top three.
I also liked that they have shower facilities available after swimming or even after check-in/check-out.

Anonymous UserThe hotel is located on the main street right next to the market, and about 20mins walk from the town, perfect if you are a market person.
Communication with the hotel is mainly via Google translate, all requests were honoured just needed a little patience and understanding when communicating with them.
There's all the basic amenities you need without frills. It's definitely a bargain to get your own room with a private toilet.
