"Pao’s Sapa Leisure Hotel – Excellent Location & Outstanding Staff I recently stayed at Pao Sapa Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent—right beside Moana Sapa and just a few kilometers from Cat Cat Village, making sightseeing very convenient. The town is also within walking distance from the hotel. The room was spacious with a beautiful valley view, and the breakfast was delicious. The language barrier can be challenging, but the reception staff always have someone who speaks English. Katie, in particular, was extremely helpful. She assisted us with planning our Fansipan trip and booking tickets, and the hotel staff maintain a group chat to update guests on peak weather conditions, which is very useful. During our stay, the air conditioning wasn’t working and the room became humid after a long day out. Communication was difficult at first, but Katie responded to our message even after office hours and helped resolve the issue, allowing us to rest comfortably. Kudos to Katie and the team for their dedication and excellent service. I highly recommend Pao’s Sapa Leisure Hotel for its prime location, spacious rooms, and outstanding staff support."

"Nice clean room. Comfy beds but the pillows are too thick. Elevator is good. Good bathroom. Decent location with a supermarket at the corner and lots of places to eat. 4 blocks away from the main hustle area but you will get quiet at night to sleep. Brother and sister owned and run. They rent motorbikes but the bikes are small and have no phone holders. Rent 125cc automatic Hondas and Yamahas with good phone holders from the family run Massage place right next door. They give outstanding massages also and woman speaks fluent English and can help you solve any problem."

"We arrived in Sapa before 7 AM via the Hk Sleeping Bus, and the office was incredibly chaotic and crowded. We had pre-requested a hotel drop-off service, but it was so busy that we considered just walking, as Google Maps showed our hotel was only a 10-minute walk from the office. We decided to wait a bit longer for the drop-off service, and it's a good thing we did – that walk would have been impossible! Sapa has narrow streets, lots of steep inclines, and many construction sites. If we had just walked without knowing, it could have been a real problem. Anyway, despite being on a slope, the hotel staff greeted us warmly and happily stored our luggage for free. The room was spacious and in great condition. My only minor complaint is that there was no toilet paper holder, which was a bit inconvenient. Don't expect much from breakfast. The location, however, is excellent. Sapa Station is very close, and we only took a taxi to Cat Cat Village; everything else was within walking distance. For Cat Cat, I recommend using Grab. We asked the hotel to call a taxi for us, and I feel the driver overcharged us significantly. For our departure, we had also requested a pickup. When the scheduled pickup time approached and the bus hadn't arrived, the staff members personally contacted the bus company to confirm and reassured us. Thank you, everyone! ^^"

"I had a fantastic stay here! The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the area, and the service was top-notch. The staff were friendly and made me feel welcome from the start. My room was clean and comfortable, and everything was well-maintained. The amenities included free Wi-Fi, which was super convenient. They also offer a complimentary breakfast, which was decent — nothing extraordinary, but it got the job done. While I didn’t explore all the amenities, the ones I used were great. The only minor thing to mention is that the building itself might look a little dated in some areas, but honestly, it didn’t affect the overall experience. Everything else was great! Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!"

"Very Good location. Walking distance to Sunworld Plaza and Sapa City Center where the Notre Dame Catholic Church is. Lots of nearby shops restaurants massage nail Salons convenient stores etc. A short grap ride to moana sapa vietrekking swing sapa etc. Staff are friendlu. English speaking and very helpful especially Yen. Good nountain view from the terrace of our room. Had a quiet and rest full night. Breakfast buffet was delicious and lots of varieties. Enjoyed our stay here and enjoyed Sapa. NO pool but did not need it anyway with the nice cool weather. Allows luggage storage."

"We had an amazing stay at Pistachio Hotel & Spa in Sapa! The experience was truly elevated thanks to Miss Chung from customer service. She was incredibly patient, taking the time to clearly explain and guide us on how to get to nearby attractions, which made our trip so much smoother and enjoyable. On top of that, she thoughtfully arranged a high-floor room with a stunning mountain view for us — waking up to that scenery was unforgettable! Her warm hospitality and attention to detail really made a difference. Highly recommend this hotel, and a big thank you to Miss Chung for going above and beyond to make our stay special!"

"We spent the first two days of our trip staying in town at Sa Pa, and for the next two nights we moved slightly out of town to Hotel DeLaMont. The hotel is located about a 10-minute drive from the town center, perched high on a hill overlooking the valley. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was precisely for that spectacular valley view, which is said to be among the best in Sa Pa. Unfortunately, during our stay, the weather fully lived up to Sa Pa’s nickname as the “City in the Fog.” Thick fog rolled in every day, and visibility was sometimes close to zero—especially on the darker roads without streetlights while our Grab drivers navigated the winding hills. Thankfully, on the morning of our final day, the clouds finally lifted a little and we were blessed with a partial glimpse of the breathtaking valley view we had been hoping for. Our room was spacious and very clean. The bed was essentially two super single beds pushed together, which meant you could feel the gap in the middle while sleeping. It’s not the most comfortable setup, but still manageable for a short stay. The minibar follows the usual hotel practice—aside from complimentary water, tea, and coffee, the rest of the items are chargeable. One thing we appreciated was the smart TV. We spent some relaxing time listening to music and watching travel videos on YouTube after long days exploring Sa Pa. The bathroom was clean and equipped with a modern electric shower system, which was quite impressive. They even installed a heated lamp to keep you warm while showering—something you’ll definitely appreciate in the chilly Sa Pa climate. However, the wash basin design could be improved. Water tends to collect around the sides, leaving the surface constantly wet, and occasionally attracting small bugs. The hotel doesn’t include breakfast by default, but you can pay extra if you’d like the convenience of eating on-site. It’s not the cheapest option, but it’s certainly convenient. The hotel also offers facilities like a gym and a swimming pool. The pool is supposed to be heated, but during our visit the weather was extremely foggy and humid, so the heating was turned off and swimming wasn’t really appealing anyway. Their rooftop area is quite beautiful and would probably be an amazing place to enjoy the valley view on a clear day. Overall, despite the foggy weather limiting the scenery, Hotel DeLaMont is still a comfortable and decent hotel with spacious rooms and good facilities. On a clear day, the view alone would likely make the stay even more memorable."

"First of all, if you want a hot shower, you need to let the water run for about 10–15 minutes before it gets hot. I stayed in the panorama view room and the view is absolutely beautiful. The location is great just a 2–3 minute walk to the center of Sa Pa, but still in a quiet area. The room was fine. The bed is very comfortable, although the space to walk around is a little small. The room also feels a bit outdated with an older design, and the TV is not a smart TV. For me that was totally fine since I don’t really watch TV anyway. The bathroom was a little bit dirty (I noticed some hair from a previous guest), but nothing that would ruin your stay. Breakfast is okay, mostly Asian-style options, but still good. The staff are very nice and helpful. Overall, a pleasant stay with a beautiful view and a great location."
