5-Star Hotels in Changchun

We are very happy with our stay. All the staff were very helpful especially our receptionist 小果，she arranged us free transport to airport and late checkout, also offered free use for the mini bar in fridge although we didn't use it but we are very appreciated her her offer. I would also like to mention the duty manager and her team was very helpful too , her and her colleagues helped us to take our laugages to the hotel mini bus, the journey to the airport was fast and smooth and the driver was very polite. There's so much good things I want to mention about including their cleaning team, including the cleaning supervisor and their team member孫娟，they were very attentive, they seen my glasses was on the table and she left me some cleaning wipes for my glasses. Their breakfast was so delicious and so many options too , including my favourite dim sum, the server 刘奎志was very friendly he can communicate with us in English too. The hotel itself is very large and have a fantastic gym and spa , there's also music restaurant and Japanese restaurant too. We will definitely come back to stay in this hotel if we visit Changchun again and definitely recommend this outstanding hotel to everyone!

I booked the hotel as an alternative to other 5-star hotels in the city. The check-in went smoothly. The staff was friendly but the service was a bit pushy for me. The hotel is in prime location with a wonderful view of the river that could be enjoyed through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Sadly, I could not appreciate it as the windows were quite dirty (I could barely see anything). I ended up taking a walk along the river which I did not regret. The bathtub was a bit outdated (mildly put). My second day, I ordered breakfast yet the room service was VERY slow. I anticipated something more client-oriented, modernized, clean, and swift from a 5-star hotel. I enjoyed my stay nevertheless but next time would consider other options.

During this trip back to Northeast China to visit relatives, I originally planned to stay at another hotel, but seeing a newly opened Lirui Hotel nearby, I decided to give it a try. This impromptu decision turned out to be the warmest part of the entire trip. We arrived at the hotel late at night with my child, and the staff had prepared bread and yogurt for the little one who hadn't eaten dinner. Their words, ”The child can't go hungry,” instantly put my mind at ease. When I asked if they had a crib, they immediately brought out an extra bed and carefully helped us settle in. Even more touching were the thoughtful details: because I didn't want to go downstairs to do laundry, the hotel thoughtfully provided two brand-new laundry basins, a clothes rack, and laundry detergent to be delivered to the room; and since it was Christmas, the receptionist, knowing my child liked toy trains, surprised us with a Christmas train toy. What moved me most was that the hotel, knowing I lived in Hangzhou and hadn't been back to Northeast China for many years, quietly prepared Northeast specialties and a childhood favorite drink, Zhenzhen. This kind of family-like thoughtfulness made us extend our stay for two more nights. Lirui's service was not only professional but also full of human warmth, making our trip home truly heartwarming and touching. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all travelers. Not only can you find accommodation here, but you can also experience a rare sense of warmth and thoughtfulness.

The overall environment of the resort is pretty good; it would probably be even better in the summer. The service is exceptional, with everyone paying great attention to detail. However, as a mom looking for a weekend getaway with my child, I found the activities to be just so-so. The snow activities themselves are free, so any amount of fun is a bonus. The hot springs, though, were really disappointing. There are only a few indoor pools, no high-temperature areas, and more importantly, they didn't feel like actual hot springs! 😦 The outdoor iron pot was impossible to use due to too much debris. From a value-for-money perspective, it's not the best choice for a weekend trip. And the kids' play area... sigh.

I returned to Changchun two years later and booked the same Oriental Yuehua Hotel. As always, the experience was fantastic! The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Front desk agent Qi Yu was warm and attentive, and check-in was quick and efficient, even offering a room upgrade. The breakfast was plentiful, combining Chinese and Western cuisine, and was delicious! I'll definitely stay at Oriental Yuehua again next time I'm in Changchun!

I brought my family for a trip around Changchun and chose this Sheraton hotel. Check-in was quick, and they even provided kids' slippers and toothbrushes when they saw I had a child, which I really appreciate. The gym and pool are on the 5th floor. I noticed the staff were very proactive in greeting guests and saying hello during my stay, which was excellent. **Environment:** The location is pretty good; there's a night market nearby where you can grab some BBQ in the evening. I didn't get to try the buffet restaurant in the evening, but it looked quite busy. I'll have to experience it next time! Thumbs up for the overall experience! 👍 Thumbs up for the service! 👍

The New Century Grand Hotel is located across from the No. 54 tram, and the terminal is just a short walk to the mountain. It's a 5-star hotel with an excellent location, cleanliness, and service. 👍 I was traveling with my child, and the front desk upgraded me to a deluxe suite on the 11th floor. I've traveled to many cities and stayed in many hotels, but one that particularly impressed me was the Garden Hotel in Guangzhou, a Platinum Five-Star hotel where I stayed in a suite. A hallmark of a good hotel is excellent service and thoughtful consideration for guests. Breakfast is also very Northeastern-style, featuring dumplings with three fresh fillings, fried bean buns, corn tortillas, steamed potatoes, and steamed eggplant. You have to wait in line for the wonton stew. There's also a wide variety of breads. However, some items were sold out quickly, and the replacement process was a bit slow. I'd also like to thank Ctrip's customer service for their excellent service. I overbooked, and they even refunded the difference. Thank you.

The most impressive part of this stay was definitely the professional and thoughtful service from the front desk staff! From the moment I checked in, Wang Qiu patiently and thoroughly answered all my questions. They even proactively helped me with my luggage and gave recommendations for local restaurants, all while maintaining a warm and genuine smile that immediately made me feel at home. When I needed to print some documents late at night, they responded quickly and resolved the issue efficiently. A huge shout-out to the entire front desk team!

The hotel is quite large, and so are the rooms, but the facilities are old and not smart. The front desk staff had a terrible attitude. When I checked in, I mentioned my reservation included breakfast for two, and the first thing the front desk said was that my room didn't include breakfast. They didn't say anything else until I asked them to double-check, and then they confirmed I had breakfast for two. They also didn't tell us where to find the elevators, or that if we drove, we could scan a QR code for free parking when leaving. We ended up paying for parking when we went out for dinner. They also didn't inform us where breakfast was served. Since we had a child with us, they didn't even provide kids' slippers or toothbrushes. Overall, it was a very poor experience.
