DDouglas_TFrom the moment I stepped out of the car until I reached my room, someone was there to assist me. When I opened the door, the turndown service was already done, and my charging cables were neatly organized and plugged in. By the bed, there was water and a sealed glass. I've stayed in many hotels, both domestically and internationally, but very few make me feel comfortable enough to use their kettle and glasses. The entire service process was seamless and unobtrusive, yet they anticipated every detail I could possibly need for my trip.

GGuest UserExperience was great, service is excellent but location was a bit far from majority of popular locations. The property isn’t maintain properly and for a hotel that’s only few years old it feels like it’s been in service for at least a decade plus. Would not likely stay here again given there’s plenty of better hotels in this price range or lower.

RRenzhenrenThis hotel is perfectly located! It's just south of Seoul City Hall Square and west of Myeongdong. The subway station is only a few dozen meters from the lobby entrance, and Sejong-daero is right to the west. It's also not far from the major palaces and Namsan, so the location couldn't be better. The staff are very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. While the facilities might feel a bit more compact compared to newly built five-star hotels in China, they are well-maintained and perfectly adequate. Overall, it offers great value for money.

AAnonymous UserThe room was very comfortable, and the location was excellent – right outside the Chinese Embassy. Plus, there were free snacks during check-in! The staff were really helpful with luggage and arranging taxis. Just a heads-up: avoid the convenience store downstairs; the staff there are incredibly rude and you can't eat inside. There are plenty of other options all over the street anyway!

GGuest UserI had to cancel 1 night and even though i submitted the request within the amendment period, it was conveyed to the hotel and by the time the hotel responded, it had past the deadline. I felt that I was caught in between trip.com and the hotel, the time taken to communicate the amendment was delayed because of the communication time between the 2. When I arrived to stay the 1 night, the staff were so unaware of how to do service recovery - they know that I paid almost SGD1000 for 1 night, perhaps they could have upgraded the room or just provided breakfast. But no, they say they can’t change anything in that booking. Like seriously, you guys shouldn’t be in the service industry! I laughed when I saw that welcome message from the hotel GM in my tv screen. Never again in this hotel. And trip is not blameless too. You should always set deadlines taking into account response time between hotel and trip.

GGuest UserWe had an excellent stay at Oakwood Premier Coex Center Seoul. The hotel kindly upgraded our room, which was very spacious and extremely comfortable. It was well-equipped with everything we needed, including a washing machine, balcony, microwave, electric pot, ironing board, and a large television with international channels. The bathroom was also very spacious and convenient. The location is outstanding, especially for attending exhibitions at COEX, which was the main purpose of our visit. It made getting around very easy and saved us a lot of time. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience with great facilities and a perfect location for business travelers. Highly recommended.

YYanxiCathyThe decor is quite tasteful, and the room size is decent. It's great value for money, especially being in the heart of Seoul and close to Shilla Duty-Free. Bus 6702 from Incheon Airport goes directly to the hotel (it's the last stop), but I wouldn't recommend it if you're in a hurry; it takes a really roundabout route. It took two hours and ten minutes to get there on a Friday afternoon.

제제공주The check-in process was very quick, but the room was huge, and there were no directions to the building. I wandered around for a while, getting drenched in the rain outside. I had to ask the staff to find my way (the check-in building was across the street, and there were no directions at check-in). Upon entering the room, I immediately noticed various hairs on the floor: brown hair, short hair, curly hair. Even in the bathroom, hair was visible, and there were hairs scattered throughout the room. - If you look closely at the photo, you can see hair. It wasn't my hair, and the color and length were completely different from ours. The floor was dirty from the moment we walked in. In all my staycations, I've never had to change rooms because of hair... This is the first time I've ever stayed in a 5-star hotel. The area near the head of the bed where the light was was covered in dead bugs and dust. I made a reservation in advance, but it was 390,000 won, and on the day, it was reduced to 320,000 won (I guess it was because it rained). I was looking forward to the pool because it was a popular Instagram spot, but outdoor pools like Incheon Paradise or Hyatt seem much better. The indoor pool was truly the best I've ever been to. And the buffet was offering a 15% discount for hotel guests that day. We had dinner for 240,000 won for two, and it was excellent value for money. I would definitely go back for the hotel buffet, but I wouldn't go back for the room. 🥹 The staff member who came to change my room was very kind, which I appreciated, but it was 400,000 won per night on a weekday. ㅠㅡㅠ It was a disappointing staycation. Also, the pool and all the facilities here close from 7 PM to 10 PM, so it's dark. Room service ends around 10:30 PM, I think. I contemplated going home late at night, but I quickly fell asleep.

OOlga AtbashyanMy stay at the Grand Hyatt Seoul was genuinely impressive. What made the biggest difference for me was the location — it’s truly excellent. There are so many great breakfast spots, restaurants, and shops nearby, and it’s easy to explore the area on foot. Having the metro close by is also a huge plus. It was my first time in Korea, and I honestly felt a bit anxious about where I would stay. But the moment I arrived, those worries disappeared — the area feels lively, safe, and very comfortable to navigate. The hotel itself isn’t brand new, but it’s well maintained. The service is solid, housekeeping is reliable, and overall everything works as it should. Nothing flashy — just consistently good. But really, the location makes this place stand out. It’s one of those rare hotels you actually want to come back to. And I definitely would.

KKunbusiI personally feel that Western hotel brands in Korea are always a great choice. The staff here can all communicate in English, and everything about this hotel is excellent, except for its location – it feels like it's halfway up a mountain. When you want to take public transport, you have to climb a long and steep hill. The first day, when we got off the airport bus, we were genuinely shocked. My mom and I, dragging our luggage, had to stop several times climbing that hill; it was seriously like an outdoor training drill. Even without luggage, you'd be out of breath. When we left, we took a taxi, and the doorman, who also spoke great English, helped us hail one.
