"This was not my first time staying here, but the service this time provided by Sophia is horrible. I checked in at 6:30-45pm that day. First Sophia just found 1 booking for me, then I told her I actually have 2 then she checked again and she found. Then said she offered me a room which upgraded, once I went up the room and I didn’t feel well, my ears were hurt might be because of the room pressure then I went down and requested if I can changed back my room type. Sophia just said to me all rooms are occupied and only corner room available. I was quite shocked because still have some groups behind me and wait for check-in but it’s fine maybe their room type is different. And she said one more corner room on sixth floor and I request changed to 6th floor, and Sophia said if I would like to change the text that I need to pay the upgrade fee. Huh??? What’s wrong with this situation? She offered me there a room available on sixth floor and then she said I need to pay the upgrade and at first she upgraded me. I told her I just need the type what I booked and no need any upgrade offer and she said all rooms are occupied. I asked what about you just mentioned the room on sixth floor? Sophia said oh sorry that was occupied too. Am I joke to you???? You didn’t check clearly beforehead? I don’t feel good with her attitude and she is working as a customer oriented industry needs to perform best service to customers. Her attitude comparing with others staff who worked there was not in standard. I appreciated for the service which provided by the manager and also the luggage helper and the housekeeper but not Sophia!!! I didn’t request any changes afterwards because she insisted my room just the one and only room available in the hotel that was so hilarious!!!"

"Recommended place: The location is excellent, with two subway lines nearby. However, Gaode Maps doesn't show the exits clearly, and it's particularly tricky to find the right exit when coming from the airport line. It's actually more convenient and closer to take the subway one more stop to Mapo Station on Line 5. It's very easy to get to places like Hongdae and Gwangjang Market by subway. Walking to the nearby Gongdeok market takes about ten minutes. Most restaurants open quite late. The area is bustling, with many restaurants and 24-hour convenience stores nearby, including quite a few trendy spots. There's a front desk staff member who speaks Chinese. I noticed many Chinese guests staying here. The service is average; perhaps they don't encourage eating in the rooms as they don't provide cutlery. If you buy food, remember to ask the store for disposable utensils. The bed is quite large. The cleanliness and quality of the bedding are average. Nowadays, all Korean hotels don't provide toothbrushes and toothpaste, so remember to bring your own or buy them at a convenience store. If you're out exploring all day and just need a place to sleep and eat at night, it's a decent option."

"Overall, I'm satisfied with the hotel. The location is great, and I appreciated the free parking even though it's in Seocho-dong. Just a heads-up, check-in time is at 3 PM, so you might have to wait a bit. I paid an extra 10,000 KRW for early check-in, which I thought was a bit much, but I don't regret it since I was happy with the facilities and cleanliness."

"It's clean, spacious for me. Even if it's just two people, the bathroom and shower are perfect. I'd like to add a bed if it's softer. It's perfect to go down from the hotel to the pedestrian street, shopping, quiet room, nice and nice staff.🎀"

Discover all that Jung-gu has to offer during your stay at Susu House Seoul. For extra convenience free luggage storage are available at the property as well.

"After checking into SUSU HOUSE, I was extremely satisfied with my overall experience. The location of the guesthouse is fantastic, very close to Myeongdong shopping street, and conveniently within walking distance of City Hall Station and Euljiro Entrance Station. Namsan Seoul Tower is visible right outside the guesthouse, and there's a convenience store downstairs for easy access to water and daily necessities. It's also very convenient for visiting many attractions in Seoul, saving me a lot of time during my trip. The room was very clean and odor-free. The bedding was soft and comfortable, perfect for a good rest after a long day of travel. The room wasn't particularly large, but considering its central location in Myeongdong and reasonable price, I found it perfectly acceptable. The common lounge on the fourth floor was much more spacious than I expected, providing a comfortable place to relax outside the rooms. The outdoor terrace offers views of Namsan Mountain and Namsan Seoul Tower, creating a wonderful atmosphere. In the morning, you can enjoy bread, coffee, and simple cereal. While it wasn't a luxurious hotel breakfast, considering the price, a simple breakfast was very reasonable. What impressed me most was the friendly and welcoming staff. Check-in was easy, and the staff were patient and helpful when we had questions or needed assistance, making our stay very comfortable. I felt that SUSU HOUSE listens carefully to guest feedback and is constantly striving to improve. During my stay, I was very satisfied with the cleanliness of the room and the service of the staff. The location is excellent, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the common areas are spacious, and the staff are friendly. Overall, it offers great value for money. I would definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Seoul. Highly recommended for travelers who want to stay near Myeongdong and value convenient transportation and good value!"

Our stay was perfect, and it all started with the incredible front desk team. After a long-haul flight from the US, we arrived in Seoul exhausted. We knew check-in wasn't until 3 PM, but the staff were so thoughtful and proactively checked to see if a room was available. They kindly offered us an early check-in, which was an absolute lifesaver and allowed us to recharge immediately. A special shout-out to the staff member who also noticed I had two separate bookings for my 4-night stay and seamlessly arranged to keep me in the same room—such careful attention to detail! Location-wise, this hotel is unbeatable. It’s steps away from the metro and the airport bus stop, making transfers a breeze. Plus, the neighborhood is buzzing with great restaurants and unique boutiques—perfect for shopping and eating to your heart's content. We can't wait to come back!

I had a pleasant stay at Brooklyn Blues Hotel overall. The room was comfortable, and one of the highlights was the complimentary ciabatta. It may not look particularly fancy, but it was surprisingly delicious—I really enjoyed it! The only downside during my stay was the nearby construction. The noise started early in the morning and was quite loud, which disturbed my sleep on several days. I understand this is beyond the hotel’s control, but it’s something future guests should be aware of if they’re light sleepers. Despite that, I had a good experience and would consider staying here again once the construction is completed.

The location is fantastic! Although the room was small, the layout was very efficient. I was surprised they even managed to fit a bathtub and had a separate wet/dry area in such a small space – only in Japan/Korea! The great location meant I could pop back to the hotel to drop off my shopping, which saved a lot of time. Plus, if you cut through the Olive Young store next door, you can get to the other side of the street easily. When checking out, you can use the self-service machine on the first floor, which is super quick. Cars can pull right up to the entrance in the morning and evening. At other times, you have to walk a short distance, but overall, it's very convenient – a one-stop shop for eating, shopping, and exploring!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay for Families The room was very spacious and perfect for our family of five. We felt comfortable throughout our stay, with plenty of space for everyone. We accidentally made a duplicate booking, and even though we had already checked in, the hotel staff kindly assisted us with the refund process through the booking platform. We truly appreciate their honesty, professionalism, and willingness to help. It is rare to find such genuine and customer-oriented service. The hotel also has an E-Mart on-site, which made it very convenient to buy snacks, drinks, and daily necessities. Another big plus is the free parking, which is spacious and easy to access. Overall, this hotel is an excellent choice for families and is especially suitable for travelers on a self-drive trip. Highly recommended, and we would gladly stay here again! 😊

Hotel Review Overall, the hotel was quite good and we had a pleasant stay. One thing we really appreciated was that the hotel allowed us to store our luggage for the whole day, with free luggage storage available for up to 12 hours, which was very convenient for travelers. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to a Family Triple Room, which was very nice and comfortable. This thoughtful gesture made our stay more enjoyable. Overall, the experience was positive. However, the cleanliness could be improved slightly to make the stay even better.

The hotel surroundings are nice, and the front desk staff speak basic English. On the first day, I found a midge on the curtains, but otherwise, the cleanliness was acceptable, and there was no drain smell from the bathroom. Disposable slippers were provided, but no toothbrush or toothpaste. Everything in the minibar, except for water, was chargeable. I booked a hotel in Gangnam because I was attending a concert at KSPO Dome. Pros: After the concert, it was usually easy to find a seat on the Express Line 9, and I could quickly reach Bongeunsa Station. There aren't many restaurants on the way back to the hotel, but there are several convenience stores. Cons: The walk from Bongeunsa Station to the hotel is really, really far, and you have to climb a gentle slope before descending! Cheongdam Station is about half the distance, but coming from Olympic Park, you'd need to transfer from Line 5 to Line 7, and Line 5 is usually much more crowded after events. Additionally, I had extended my stay through Trip.com before check-in, but the front desk initially thought I had only booked one night. After some communication, they found the extension order and processed it. However, on the second night, my room card stopped working and needed to be re-authorized. I hope the platform and the hotel can improve this issue.

The room itself was decent, aside from the lack of soundproofing. The only real issue was that if you weren't careful upstairs, you'd constantly bump your head – I did it about four or five times! However, it's still pretty good value for money, given the low price.

Location is perfect! 2 minutes walking distance to seonyudo station and there’s A LOT of coffee shop, especially internationa famous Starbucks just next door. English speakers are available but maybe they could be more friendly in attending guests. However, rooms are beautiful and clean. Housekeeper were very friendly and helped with things we requested! I had a pleasant stay at this hotel during my trip to Seoul. The hotel was nice and clean, and the check-in process was fast and smooth, which made arrival stress-free. Although the room was a bit small, it was still comfortable enough for 3 people. One of the highlights is the location, there are plenty of food stalls around the hotel, offering authentic local bites without the overwhelming crowds you’d find in Myeongdong. Personally, I found this area much more enjoyable and relaxing. The metro station is just a 3-minute walk away, making it very convenient to explore the city. Travel Tip: From the airport, take the train to Seoul Station (either normal or express), then transfer to the blue line to Chungmuro Station. If you’re carrying luggage, Exit 5 is the best choice since it has an escalator — just walk toward Starbucks. Otherwise, Exit 7 is a quicker option. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for travelers looking for a clean, convenient, and well-located stay in Seoul.

This hotel was lovely. It's about a 12 minute walk from all the shopping in Myeongdong, and it's not a bad walk to the cable car to Namsan tower. The subway is also conviently located as well as the bus to the airport. The staff was wonderful and super helpful. We were able to leave our luggage in the lobby after we checked out, and there's a scale to weigh your bag, too. Also, a cute rooftop deck with tables. There's a convenience store across the street, and I think it's open 24 hours. The room didn't have a microwave, so we used that one. The room does have a mini fridge and electric kettle. Even though our room was near the elevator, it was super quiet. My only problem was it was a little too quiet. Even with the air conditioner on, there was no fan sound, so if you like white noise at night be aware. The curtains worked well. The door had two locks, and every floor and the rooftop were only accessible with your room key. Very safe. 10/10 recommend
