"The stay is comfortable, and it’s near the airport. It’s a bit further from the city (1h 35m by train+bus).
The accommodation was clean and spacious. There’s lots of great restaurants around. I personally liked the surrounding area as it’s quiet and peaceful, great for walking.
There’s a washer in the room but it doesn’t work the best in terms of drying the clothes. Theres also a coin laundry available on the third floor of the building. There’s gym in the second building. The reception is on the second floor.
The AC is central and during warm days it can take some time to cool. The bed is on a platform through the stairs. It can be uncomfortable at first as it’s very close to the ceiling.
There’s a full kitchen with electric stove but no utensils or cutleries are provided. Room cleaning is every 3 days."

"When we checked in to our room, we found an old slipper under the bed that the housekeeper didnt clean from the last guest's stay.
The room has no place to put the luggages. We has to clear the coffee table to put our luggage.
The spa tub/pool is fairly takes up quite a lot of space. We barely used it. If you want to use bath bombs, you must use the hotel's bath bomb (buy separately). But the noise from the tub draining (even if its other floors) is super loud so they dont let you use the tub after 11pm.
The layout of the room is super weird. The ”shower room” and ”toilet room” is opposite each other. A bit inconvenient, especially for ladies. The shower also leaks out so the floor gets super wet (even with a towel).
The door also doesnt have an additional lock and no peep hole to check who is outside if anyone knocks which can be quite dangerous as no keycard is required to go up the elevator. The door is also quite thin and you can hear the room next door. You could also hear cars that drive by.
The tv in the room when we tried to turn up the volume to the loudest (34) still barely had any sound. The hotel staff tried to fix it but failed. Also the room doesnt have any phone so you need to add their kakao/whatsapp/wechat to contact hotel staff which is also quite inconvenient.
The light configuration in the room is also quite awkward.
Only hotel that can accommodate 3~4 pax in the same room. But definitely wouldnt choose this hotel again if I dont need to."

Amazing
MM1182****The hotel is luxurious and comfortable. There's a shuttle service for transportation, and Didi (ride-hailing) can accurately reach it. You can also walk up and down if you prefer, consider it a workout. Housekeeping cleans daily and provides turndown service. The hairdryer in the room has two voltage sockets, be careful not to plug it into the wrong one; for the first two days, I plugged it into the wrong one, and the airflow was so weak it took almost an hour to dry my hair. The lobby's shaved ice is delicious; I had it two days in a row. The in-room dining steak is incredibly tasty, truly unforgettable. It's worth staying here.
Aalis_hanaThis hotel is quite close to Olympic Hall and KSPO Dome, and you can definitely walk there, especially since it's in Seoul's tallest building, visible right from the venue. However, the value for money is a bit low; for the same price, I'd recommend Josun Palace. The hotel opened in 2017, but the facilities already feel dated. The view from the top floor isn't as visually appealing as Josun's either. Plus, because of its tower structure, the elevator lobby reminds me of high-rise offices in Shanghai's Pudong. The room type I booked included lounge access, but the offerings there were far inferior to those at the JW Marriott Seoul. On the bright side, it's very convenient to Lotte World below. There's also a street with food and pub options nearby that's bustling with locals even late at night, a walkable but not strictly necessary distance. Unless I need to attend another concert in the vicinity, I probably won't stay here again.
GGuest UserExtremely comfortable stay, spotlessly clean, perfect soundproofing - I never heard any sound from other guests. Location was great, easily walkable to many great restaurants and shopping areas, and with a direct indoor underground link to the City Hall metro station (not easy to find the first time, but my hint is to go from the lobby to the basement and then find the stairs that go down again). The view of the mountain and cityscape from the room was nice. My only complaint about the room was that it was full of little indicator lights from all the various gadgets (especially the toilet which shines like the sun) so you may need an eye mask if you are sensitive to light at night. Service was efficient but quite impersonal.

Great
__WeChat518709****The best part of my trip to Korea was surprisingly the hotel! The service was genuinely excellent. Although it's a bit far from the city center, there are tons of great food options nearby, and an entire Lotte World Department Store building to explore. Every staff member was incredibly polite and helpful, which is quite rare to find in Korea. Considering the prevalent issue of discrimination in Korea, it was especially refreshing to experience such consistent courtesy from everyone at this hotel.
AAliceGuan1The room temperature was comfortable, the surroundings were quiet and beautiful, and the service was five-star. The Four Seasons is always my first choice when traveling.

Great
CCHW0101Hotel is very new a with modern decoration and close to the trendy Hyundai Shopping Mall. I especially like the perfumes in the lift lobby. Room is normal and clean. The gym is huge and with very good equipment, almost similar scale versus Conrad hotel next door. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Great
GGuest UserHotel was fully booked, then there is not enough service capacity to deal/react. For example on Sunday morning we needed to wait for 20min to get breakfast table.
MM23913****Second stay here, definitely our top choice in Myeongdong!
The location is excellent; you step right out into Shinsegae Department Store, and it's super close to Myeongdong Shopping Street and Lotte. There's a subway station right outside, making it incredibly convenient for eating and exploring.
More importantly, the facilities and cleanliness are superior to other older hotels in Myeongdong. When you're traveling, a comfortable stay is really important!

Very Good
LLuyanerThe hotel is clean and the location is great. The airport shuttle goes directly there, there's a lot of good food nearby, and it's very convenient to get to Dongdaemun.
JjayvernPros :
- great location : near market, restaurant and convenient shops , near train and bus station.
- very comfortable bed and pillow. The pillow is so comfortable I wish I can buy it to bring home.
- very big bath tub(onsen).
- amenities provided : shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, hairdryer (Dyson), bath herbal soak, toothbrush
- love the freebies provided like makgeolli and Korean traditional sweet.
Cons :
- late checkin time (4pm), they don't even have a luggage storage area if you reach early.
- all rooms are upstairs and there is no lift. You need to carry the luggage yourself, there is no staff to help. Initially we were assigned to a room on 4th floor. We requested to change to a lower room because we (both girls) can't carry our big luggage up 😅
- there is only one water outlet to fill up the bathtub. It takes forever to fill up the tub, so we only manage to soak our legs. There is no curtain to cover the bathtub, so when you fill up with hot water the whole room will be covered with the hot air making everything 'wet'. Love the concept of the big tub but it's just not practical.
- they only provide new towels and bath amenities when doing room cleaning. They didn't even make up the bed.
