It's about a 10-minute walk to the subway station and duty-free shops. The front desk staff offers Chinese-speaking service, which was helpful for communication. My only complaint is that the room was too small, but everything else was great!

YyucongseuThis hotel is right in Myeongdong, making shopping incredibly convenient – just step downstairs and you're there. Getting around is also easy, with taxis readily available and Myeongdong subway station very close by. It's also next to the Chinese Embassy, and the room I booked happened to be an 'embassy view' room, which made me feel extra secure. All the facilities and amenities are pretty complete, the cleanliness is quite good, and the service is also okay. It's a great place to stay if you're in Myeongdong for shopping. As for the downsides: breakfast on the top floor offers nice views, but the food selection is limited. Also, disposable items like toothpaste, toothbrushes, and combs in the room come with a charge (which I believe is a standard regulation in Korea).

MM363533****The room was clean, and I had a great view from the high floor. The hotel facilities were comprehensive, and it was very quiet at night, allowing for a good sleep on the comfortable mattress and pillows. The hotel staff were warm and professional. The location is super convenient, right next to a subway entrance with access to the Incheon Airport Express. There are also many dining options nearby. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

CCHW0101Hotel is very new a with modern decoration and close to the trendy Hyundai Shopping Mall. I especially like the perfumes in the lift lobby. Room is normal and clean. The gym is huge and with very good equipment, almost similar scale versus Conrad hotel next door. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Lemme tell you first, the entrance to the hotel is at the side (I am bad with directions)… if you come late and the mall is close, face left and entrance is just at the side lol.
In front of the hotel, there are lots of restaurants and you can always eat as solo traveler. Lots of choices and good foods. Lots of street market vendors if you just walk 1-2minutes and love this.
I initially dont like the room (because of the view) (I only book places for their views tbh) as I have initially asked for a good view room on my request and all ;; and as what was advertised but it is my mistake for not booking city view room but I saw on some reviews they got nice city view room; and had to ask for a change because I stayed for 6nights. They advised as it was late, they have got no rooms available and informed me they will change on the next day. They promptly changed it on the morning itself saving me the time in to initially checking out and wait for availability. They were really quick in addressing the concerns I have and was very helpful. Really appreciate it as a first timer visitor in the city. Will definitely come back to this hotel and will book city view room next because so worth it!!!!

DDP is just 5mins walk and was so mesmerised! I have got the trail view and the trail is just so pretty! Will include the pictures of the trail!
Once you got on the trail, you can see Namsan Tower as well! Very very wonderful stay!

TTatianaKotovaWe liked the hotel, everything is fine, there is nothing to complain about. The room is comfortable, clean, quiet, the staff is polite. The breakfasts are not a buffet, but they are delicious and slightly different every day. The location is super, a pleasant walk along the Seoullo 7017 overpass from Seoul Station. And the center is 15 minutes away. There are many convenience stores in the area. There is a restaurant with European cuisine in the hotel building - pasta, pizza, everything is delicious. I recommend Hotel Manu Seoul.

FFajrinaRohmatI booked this trip last minute and didn’t have many expectations for the hotel, but I ended up having such a pleasant stay. They have a mini kitchen with kitchen utensils available apon request which was a big plus because I could reheat and cook simple meals. There’s also a washing machine for quick laundry and a toilet with a bidet — super plus point!
The location is great — very close to Chungmuro Station, near Myeongdong but much quieter and peaceful. There are buses that go almost everywhere, and a CU right in front of the hotel. The bed was comfy, the room size felt just right, and housekeeping was consistent. Rubbish was cleared every day and fresh towels were provided daily too.
Thank you for the lovely stay! I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Seoul 🫶

The room was pretty clean, just some hairs in the shower, but the rest was very clean. For a price of 26€/night for 2 people it is an unbeatable room in Seoul. Would return.

Its central location is fantastic, with easy access to transportation, making it convenient for both walking and public transit. The hotel's exterior boasts a modern and elegant design, while the interior decor is meticulously crafted, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The guest rooms are impeccable, featuring clean and tidy beds with soft, comfortable bedding. They are well-equipped with amenities like free high-speed Wi-Fi, an LCD TV, and a mini-bar. The spacious bathroom with high-quality toiletries adds to an overall excellent stay.
The dining service is equally impressive. The hotel's restaurant offers a diverse menu, ranging from international cuisine to local specialties, all prepared with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors.

MMary KathrynWe were able to locate the guest house easily using Naver Map. However, our first struggle was how to reach the destination itself.
The guesthouse is located in an uphill area, almost near Namsan Cable Car (600km/20min walk). A great tip we discovered (after struggling of walking uphill for 2 days 😂) was using the escalators/elevators near the Ihoeyeong Memorial Hall. Go straight from there and you’ll find a 7-Eleven convenience store upon crossing the street. Go left then right at the first wide alley way you see, it should be uphill. Keep on walking until you see a signage of mama guest house on your right side.
We booked a day before our arrival so we could immediately check-in in our rooms. A note welcomed us and our keys were found at the reception area. Pls don’t forget to remove your shoes and change into the slippers they provide found in the shoe cabinet at the left side of the entrance.
Our rooms were next to each other, but differ in size. Bathroom was okay, but I hope they’ll fix the sink’s pipe problem in room 104 since it leaks on the floor upon using. I suggest buying shower filters (5,000 Won) since the water in SK is quite harsh. I suggest to test how you’ll adjust the temperature when showering. There were no bidets in our bathrooms.
Always bring your keycard with you whenever you go out. They don’t go into your rooms like hotels would. If you have any requests, just leave a note on their desk (ie. New towels, tissue, etc.) They also don’t have laundry machines. Do not eat inside the rooms, only in the kitchen which is in the basement.
If you feel like your trash bins are getting full, trash bins are found in the lobby and segregate everything according to their waste category. Just think of it as you’re staying on your own room.
Walls are thin, made of light wood materials so I wouldn’t suggest talking nor listening to your phone loudly.
Breakfast menu were cereals with milk, bread and flavored jam, and instant noodles. You can only consume what’s inside the fridge unless there’s a note that a room guest owns it. You can cook and buy your own food, just make sure you clean up after. You can also fill-up your water bottles here.
Going to different areas are easy too since it’s near Myeongdong Station exit 1. If you’re planning to go shopping in Myeongdong, just go straight after exit 1 and you should see E-Mart across the street then cross on the first crosswalk you see. If you want to enter the “main” street, go left until you see the bug HBAF building.
Overall, I think our stay was a good since the staff we get see was very accommodating to our requests. I just hope they’ll fix some of their bathroom leakage.
