"This was my first stay at this guesthouse, and overall, it offered excellent value for money. The location is incredibly convenient for getting around; there's an airport shuttle bus stop right downstairs, and subway stations are easily accessible in both directions. The surrounding area is bustling, featuring Dongdaemun, Gwangjang Market, and several wholesale markets. The price is fair considering the room size and amenities. The rooftop terrace upstairs is beautiful; it was really pleasant to grab a bite, enjoy the view, and feel the breeze up there in the evening. As I was traveling solo this time, I felt quite safe and comfortable during my stay. You can reach it by walking straight for about 100-200 meters from Exit 4 of Jongno 5-ga Subway Station."

EEguanmanyingwangxiaoqiangLotte Hotel Seoul: The perfect choice for accommodation on your Seoul trip!
Staying at Lotte Hotel during my Seoul trip far exceeded my expectations! The location is superb, right next to the Myeongdong shopping district, making shopping and strolling easily accessible on foot. It's also close to the subway station, offering incredibly convenient transportation to attractions like Gyeongbokgung Palace and Hongdae.
The room was clean and spacious, with exquisite and elegant decor. The bedding was soft and comfortable against the skin, and the night view was spectacular. The facilities were complete and smart, and the toiletries were of high quality, with attention to detail reflecting its refined style. The service was professional and thoughtful; the staff spoke fluent English, responded promptly, and check-in was efficient. They even proactively offered travel tips and suggestions.
The breakfast was rich and varied, with Korean, Western, and Japanese cuisines available, all made with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors, satisfying every palate. The hotel's amenities are excellent, with a well-equipped gym, spa, and other facilities perfect for relaxation during leisure time. It's ideal for both business trips and sightseeing, offering great value for money. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Seoul, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

Great
__WeChat518709****The best part of my trip to Korea was surprisingly the hotel! The service was genuinely excellent. Although it's a bit far from the city center, there are tons of great food options nearby, and an entire Lotte World Department Store building to explore. Every staff member was incredibly polite and helpful, which is quite rare to find in Korea. Considering the prevalent issue of discrimination in Korea, it was especially refreshing to experience such consistent courtesy from everyone at this hotel.
MM38258****Before my trip to Korea, many people recommended this place in their guides, so I just went ahead and booked it. The dark aesthetic is very comfortable and cozy, and it's not noisy at all. The room had a Dyson hairdryer, which was a nice surprise – no need to bring my own! There were also plenty of Chinese-style power outlets, so I didn't have to bring any adapters. The bedding was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Having about 6 hangers was a thoughtful touch, and the bathrobes provided were quite unique. There was even an iron, so all in all, it was pretty well-equipped. The tissues were quite thin though, so I'd recommend bringing your own travel pack for convenience. What I loved most was that the subway station was right outside the door, making it super easy to get anywhere. The 'Brothers BBQ' nearby was incredibly delicious – highly recommend it! The front desk service was also very warm and patient, and they were never annoyed even when there were communication challenges.
AAliceGuan1The room temperature was comfortable, the surroundings were quiet and beautiful, and the service was five-star. The Four Seasons is always my first choice when traveling.

CCHW0101Hotel is very new a with modern decoration and close to the trendy Hyundai Shopping Mall. I especially like the perfumes in the lift lobby. Room is normal and clean. The gym is huge and with very good equipment, almost similar scale versus Conrad hotel next door. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Great
YyucongseuThis hotel is right in Myeongdong, making shopping incredibly convenient – just step downstairs and you're there. Getting around is also easy, with taxis readily available and Myeongdong subway station very close by. It's also next to the Chinese Embassy, and the room I booked happened to be an 'embassy view' room, which made me feel extra secure. All the facilities and amenities are pretty complete, the cleanliness is quite good, and the service is also okay. It's a great place to stay if you're in Myeongdong for shopping. As for the downsides: breakfast on the top floor offers nice views, but the food selection is limited. Also, disposable items like toothpaste, toothbrushes, and combs in the room come with a charge (which I believe is a standard regulation in Korea).

Great
AA trotterOverall, a nice experience and offered good value for money. The hotel itself is aesthetically pleasing with a nice design throughout, and everything felt clean and well-maintained.
The main drawback for me was the location. While technically in the city center, the hotel is situated uphill, which made the walk to and from the nearest subway station, Dongguk University Station, a bit tiring. It's not a severe issue, but if you plan on relying on the subway and walking a lot, be prepared for a minor climb. Additionally, there isn't much in the immediate vicinity of the hotel in terms of shops or restaurants, so you'll need to venture out for meals and entertainment.
The hotel boasts two swimming pools, which is great, but it's important to note that a standard hotel guest only receive free access to the indoor swimming pool. Access to the other pool and the sauna facilities is an additional charge, which was a little disappointing. On a very positive note, the gym facility is excellent.
I can't comment on the quality of the breakfast as it was not included with my room reservation. I inquired at the reception, and the price was quite high—around KRW 64,000 (USD 45) per guest—which I felt was rather expensive for a single meal.
The most significant issue affecting my comfort was the poor soundproofing. I could clearly hear guests talking next door, and conversations from people walking in the hallway were also distinctly audible. This definitely detracted from the peace and quiet one hopes for in a hotel room, especially at night.
ZZhaohuihuiSeoul Front Hotel boasts an excellent location. The subway station is within easy walking distance, and a popular, Instagram-worthy BBQ spot is just around the corner. While the rooms are compact, they are clean and modern. The front desk staff speaks fluent English and is incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar offers fantastic night views. Overall, it's excellent value for money!

Very Good
TTatianaKotovaWe liked the hotel, everything is fine, there is nothing to complain about. The room is comfortable, clean, quiet, the staff is polite. The breakfasts are not a buffet, but they are delicious and slightly different every day. The location is super, a pleasant walk along the Seoullo 7017 overpass from Seoul Station. And the center is 15 minutes away. There are many convenience stores in the area. There is a restaurant with European cuisine in the hotel building - pasta, pizza, everything is delicious. I recommend Hotel Manu Seoul.

Very Good
AAnonymous UserThe room was very noisy; I'm not sure why so many motorcycles were constantly making noise, even late into the night. On the bright side, transportation was convenient. Communication with the front desk was a bit challenging due to their limited English proficiency. (Helpful tip: take airport bus 6703!) They don't provide toiletries or complimentary water, but you can purchase water at the 7-Eleven located downstairs, right behind the hotel. The room itself was quite small, but thankfully, the bed I booked was a larger size.
