"Traveling solo, my main concerns were safety and hygiene. The hotel isn't far from the metro station; even though it's down a small alley, I felt safe walking back alone past 11 PM. The hygiene was good, but the shower water temperature was a bit tricky to adjust – it was either too hot or too cold, and hard to get just right. I ended up having to wash quickly. The surroundings were quiet at night, apart from a slight hum from the fridge. The guy who checked me in on the first day was super nice and even let me check in early. And the front desk guy who checked me out on the second day was really handsome, lol!"

"ギンポ空港に夜遅くに到着する予定だったので、同空港から近いこのホテル を選びました。地下鉄五号線で空港から10分位で最寄駅であるファゴック駅につき、3番出口から歩いて10分くらいでした。午後 11時ちょっと前でしたが、結構人通りはあり、危ない感じはなかっ たです。 ホテルというかモーテルなので、入り口はちょっと怪しい 雰囲気でしたが、受付の女の人は感じがよかった。部屋は値段相応ですが、寝具はきれいだったし、南京虫とかはいなかったし、シャワーのお湯もちゃんとでたので、寝るだけなら十分でした。あと、ケーブルテレビ がみられて、英語や日本語の放送もあったのはよかったです。"

"The facility was recently remodeled and was very clean and comfortable. There were enough things you need such as different types of chargers and TV, especially the cozy lighting in the room was very suitable for relaxing. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was great for sightseeing and vacationing in Seoul. If I ever visit Seoul again, I will choose this place without hesitation."

"First of all, I don't know if it was the owner or a staff member, but they were incredibly kind.
There were two bottles of water in the room, but they were running low, so I asked for more, and they provided them at no extra charge.
It was less than a minute from the food alley, making it a great location for a meal or a drink.
There were no issues with noise or cleanliness, and it was very clean.
It's close to Yeongdeungpo Station, so I think guests will have no problems.
The room condition and price were all excellent, but this hotel was a great value for money. I will definitely visit again!!!"

KKIKI2I stayed here again. I really like Jongno 3-ga, and I find the subway incredibly convenient. Sean, the hotel manager, was exceptionally kind and helpful, providing great recommendations for nearby restaurants. I definitely want to stay at this hotel again next time I visit Korea.

However, the surrounding area is just okay, and the room is small. The shower enclosure only partially covers, so the bathroom tends to get wet. Still, it offers good value for money.

RrealllllhyerimThis hotel is perfect for a solo trip! It's only a seven or eight-minute walk to Line 1, which goes directly to Seoul Station. You only need one transfer to get to Hongdae.
However, for foreigners, finding the right platform at Daebang Station can be a bit tricky, haha! Today Line 1 is on this platform, tomorrow it might be on the opposite side. I never really figured it out until I left. 😭
The CU convenience store across from the hotel is quite small, and the old man working the night shift has a terrible temper! Don't go there. Instead, walk left out of the hotel for two or three minutes, and you'll find a larger GS25 with a better selection. Go there to buy your things!
There's a soup and rice restaurant nearby where the staff speaks Chinese, and the food is delicious! You can also find a Mega Olive Young within a five or six-minute walk.
Food delivery can come right to the lobby, and there's a dedicated pick-up point.

솨솨키The location is absolutely perfect, right next to Times Square and Shinsegae, with subway lines 1 and 5 close by. We stayed for 4 nights, and while there was no room cleaning and we had to ask the front desk for extra towels (plus the room was a bit warm), it was still great. Each room comes with a water dispenser, and there's an all-you-can-eat instant ramen bar in the back room of the front desk! We enjoyed grabbing food from the Times Square department store basement, making ramen, and eating in our room. We were very satisfied with our New Year's trip!

😁 I visited in winter, and to my surprise, the room had underfloor heating – not cold at all! Plus, it came with a TV, fridge, hairdryer, and stable Wi-Fi.
😁 The location is great, right in the middle of Yeongdeungpo's bustling area. There are tons of food options right outside, and you can even use the underground passage to reach Times Square and other spots without having to brave the cold outside. It's only about 300 meters from the subway.
☹️ The front desk seems to operate on a rotating shift, with one person covering 24 hours. One of the staff members, a younger guy, forgot to arrange for my room to be cleaned. There was also a kind, slightly goofy older gentleman with glasses who was really great.
🫣 My one concern: If you come here in the summer, the area around the hotel downstairs is full of restaurant alleyways. It gets very lively (in a smoky, 'fireworks' kind of way) and there's a lot of kitchen waste piled up late at night...
Overall: It exceeded my expectations, probably because I came at the right time! 🫡🤙🏻

WWEICHIEHThis is a hotel next to a subway station (according to the map). It is almost opposite Seogangdae Station. However, you have to walk around a small river, so it is quite steep uphill when you approach the hotel. Although I don’t know why only one person rated it one star on Google, it feels a bit scary. However, after living there for two days, I can feel that it is a reconstruction of an old house. The reconstruction is not very exquisite. However, the service of the lady at the counter is good, and she can communicate in Chinese. There is a convenience store next to it, and it is very close to the bus station. It is not far to the north to the Sinchon subway station. Overall, those who pursue CP value can choose to live here.

GGuest UserClean, quiet, stellar location near two main subway lines. There is a convenience store 2 buildings away from the hotel, and a very nice pizza place across the street. Yeongdeungpo has everything you could ever need, in terms of restaurants, bars, entertainment. There is also a pretty cool semi-hidden winery speakeasy just down the street.

GGuest UserThe hotel price is very affordable compared to other hotels nearby. Transportations like the airport bus, subway and city bus stations are located very close. It was clean and the staff responded quickly. I am very satisfied with this hotel but only thing I didn't like was the alley where the entrance is located is too narrow. I'd like to come again next time.

GGuest User방 내부가 깔끔하고 청결하고 냄새도 안나서 좋았습니다. 침대도 푹신하고 다른 곳에 비해서 깔끔했습니다. 수건에서 냄새도 안나고 너무깨끗했습니다. 환기도 잘 되어서 쾌적하게 하루를 보낼 수 있었습니다. 침대가 푹신해서 아침에 일어났을 때 너무 개운했습니다. 위치도 좋았습니다. 근처에 편의점이 3개나 모여 있어서 필요한 것을 사올 때 너무 편리했습니다. 인포메이션에 계신 사장님 너무 친절하셔서 기분이 좋아질 정도였습니다. 앞으로도 이 지역을 오게되면 또 다시 이숙소를 이용할것 같습니다. 감사합니다.
