I stayed here for two nights and honestly, if I hadn’t already had festival tickets, I probably would have stayed longer. The location is great, right in the middle of Gangnam’s business district, but it’s still really quiet at night. I had a single room and the size was perfect for me. There was enough space under the desk and the bed for both of my suitcases, so it never felt too small. Everything is very new and super clean, and they really provide almost everything you could need. There’s a washing machine and dryer, and in the room you have a fridge, hairdryer, slippers, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. They also provide a toothbrush, toothpaste and even a razor if you need one. The kitchen has cooking utensils, cereal, water, juice, tea and a coffee machine. The Wi-Fi was also incredibly fast, probably the fastest I’ve ever had in a hostel. I also really liked the different lighting options in the room. There’s a good light by the mirror for make-up, softer lighting behind the bed and normal ceiling lights. It sounds like a small thing, but it’s one of those details that makes the room feel well thought out. That’s probably what I liked most about the place in general: you can tell that someone actually thought about the details. There are power outlets everywhere you need them, everything is explained clearly in Korean and English, and the automatic check-in and check-out were really easy. They’ve also put a lot of care into the design and the little details. Although it’s a small place, that might somehow be exactly what you need in such a huge city – it gives you a little sense of home. Everyone was also really nice and helpful, from the owners to the staff cleaning the rooms. I’d definitely stay here again.

An amazing stay that exceeded all our expectations! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We arrived at this hotel with a last-minute reservation and, even though the reception was already closed, the owners waited for us until 1:30 AM to welcome us. We also called them several times because, probably because we were exhausted after our flight, we couldn’t find the entrance. They were incredibly helpful and patient and guided us until we found our way in. The check-in process is fully automated and can be completed independently at the front desk, but the owners were still available to help us whenever we needed assistance. It was also during check-in that we discovered that we were among the very first guests of the property, which is completely new. The room was absolutely fantastic: very spacious, spotless and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable and the windows were very well insulated, so we slept really well. The room also had a hairdryer, fresh towels and water in the mini-fridge. Just outside the room there was a small common area where guests could freely take water, toilet paper, fresh towels and many other useful items every day, including toothbrushes, travel kits and even skincare products. This was incredibly convenient, especially during a longer trip. Another great feature was the laundry room, with two washing machines/dryers that guests could use completely free of charge. They were extremely useful for a long trip like ours. The same room also had a microwave, a hot and cold water dispenser, a sink, cutlery and free coffee. The location is also excellent. The hotel is close to two subway stations, and bus 6002, which stops almost right in front of the hotel, makes it very easy to get to Incheon International Airport. There are also plenty of shops around and directly below the hotel, some of them open 24 hours, where you can easily buy food and everyday necessities. There are also many restaurants nearby. As if all of this wasn’t enough, when we checked out, the owners gave us some very cute little gifts, especially because we were among the first guests of the property. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture! Saying that we were positively impressed would be an understatement. The hospitality, cleanliness, comfort, location and facilities exceeded all our expectations. If we ever travel to Seoul again, we would definitely stay here again! ❤️

Cleanliness: Clean Environment: Good Service: The owner is very nice! The hotel is very safe, I stayed for 10 days and it was very comfortable. Facilities: Perfect, it has a fridge! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect Stay in the Heart of Myeongdong! Our stay at U-STAY Myeongdong was fantastic from start to finish. The biggest highlight is the unbeatable location. Situated right in the heart of Myeongdong, you’re just steps away from endless shopping, incredible restaurants, street food vendors, convenience stores, and the subway station, making it easy to explore all of Seoul. Whether you’re visiting for sightseeing, food, or shopping, you couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay after long days of exploring the city. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and always willing to help with recommendations or any questions we had. One of my favorite touches was the complimentary noodle bar. After spending the day walking around Seoul, being able to enjoy a free late-night bowl of ramen along with coffee and other refreshments was such a thoughtful amenity that made the hotel feel even more welcoming. It’s a small feature that really sets U-STAY apart from many other hotels. If you’re looking for an affordable, clean, and conveniently located hotel with excellent hospitality and thoughtful extras, I highly recommend U-STAY Myeongdong. I would absolutely stay here again on my next trip to Seoul! ✨

The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to catch the subway and bus as it's quite close to both stations. There are restaurants and various shops right outside the hotel, which is super convenient. Within walking distance, you'll find stores like Daiso, Olive Young, Shinsegae, Starbucks, Ediya, and many, many restaurants and snack stalls. Myeongdong Night Market and the underground shopping mall are also nearby. The hotel staff are all great, and the breakfast is good too. Freshly brewed coffee, instant coffee, and tea bags are always available. Sipping tea in the dining area feels just like home. What I loved most is the daily laundry service; the small washing machine is incredibly handy, and they even provide drying racks, which is just too convenient. If I come back to Seoul, this will be my first choice.

The hotel has a great location, with two MRT stations nearby — Chungmuro and Euljiro — making it very convenient to get around and travel to different places. When I first arrived, I had some difficulty finding the entrance. Luckily, a kind security guard helped me out. For future guests, you can use the entrance on the right and take the elevator up to the 2nd floor. If you arrive before check-in time, there’s no need to worry as the hotel provides free luggage storage. The cleanliness could be improved, as there were some areas that could have been cleaner. However, the bed was very comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. Overall, a convenient place to stay, especially if you value easy access to public transportation.

We got a room where we couldn’t sleep properly because of the condensation drops falling onto pipes right outside our window, which was located in like 30cm from our heads laying on thin pillows. Also we didn’t have cold water inside the room, somehow. Only hot and really really warm ones, it was impossible to get a cold water in there. There was only one bath towel for 2 people. We asked the stuff to change our room and they kindly did that. Pillows there were a little bit better, and happily there were no noises at all, although we got only one bath towel for two once again. After the rain, it started to smell horrible because of the sewer drain, which was located near the bathtub developed inside the room (with no doors or anything else). We had left our room after noon for like 2-3 hours, after coming back we found out that no one came for housekeeping services (we supposed that stuff might do that and hence left room clean and tidy without any mess with our luggage). There hadn’t been any tags for DND to use and make it clear that room doesn’t need to be cleaned, so we thought no one’s gonna come today. We left once again approximately at 6pm and got back at 11:30pm. Surprisingly, for some reason someone came and brought 2 clean towels, and they did nothing but that. So I’m not sure whether they wanted to clean the room or not, because we left all our stuff and suitcases opened thinking no one’s gonna come in. Maybe they just wanted to bring the towels, but I simply don’t get it why I don’t have an option to mark my room with DND tag. Location is splendid though 👍🏻

Beautifully designed and spotless, but several practical details need improvement Stay And4 is a beautifully designed, newly opened property with a stylish, modern interior. Everything looks carefully considered, from the bathroom fixtures to the refrigerator, microwave and water dispenser. The cleanliness is absolutely exceptional! A big compliment to the housekeeping staff, who clearly do an amazing job. Everything was spotless. I also appreciated the complimentary cup noodles and instant coffee in the communal area. However, despite the beautiful design, several practical details haven’t been thought through properly. Room comfort One important thing to know is that the room has no windows or natural daylight. The decorative curtains are beautifully executed and create a warm, inviting atmosphere, but having no daylight can feel unusual. At night, the standby lights on the TV and especially the water dispenser are extremely distracting. The water dispenser emits so much light that it actually illuminates the room when everything else is switched off. The power outlets next to the bed also don’t hold plugs securely. Even a slight movement of the charging cable can cause the plug to fall out. Bathroom The towels are extremely small, roughly the size of guest towels in the Netherlands rather than proper bath towels. For a relatively upscale property, this is disappointing. I asked the hotel about it and was told this is their standard size. Proper bath towels would be a significant improvement, especially for international guests. There is also no bath mat. The bathroom layout isn’t particularly practical either. There is a bathtub and an open shower, but the shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are in large dispensers fixed to the wall by the shower. They cannot be reached from the bathtub, meaning you have to get out or dispense the products into your hands beforehand. A strange design oversight. Housekeeping I stayed for two nights without any housekeeping. I don’t expect a full cleaning for such a short stay, but the very small trash bin wasn’t emptied, and used glasses and cups weren’t cleaned or replaced. A quick refresh would have been appreciated. Luggage storage The advertised “free luggage storage” is misleading in my opinion. There is no secure storage room, just a rack in a common area where you can attach your suitcase using a lock. Luggage remains accessible to other guests, making this unsuitable for open bags or valuables. I contacted the hotel about this because I wasn’t comfortable leaving my belongings there. The listing should be more transparent about what is actually provided. Carpeting The wall-to-wall carpeting looks beautiful now, but I question how well it will age and how easily it can be kept thoroughly clean. It’s also not ideal for guests sensitive to dust mites. A clear shoes-off policy might help maintain its condition. Entrance and surroundings The approach to the hotel and the entrance itself aren’t particularly inviting. The surroundings feel somewhat run-down, contrasting sharply with the beautiful interior. The stairwell in particular could benefit from refurbishment to create a better first impression. Overall Stay And4 has a lot of potential. The design is beautiful, the facilities are modern, and the cleanliness is genuinely outstanding. However, the many practical shortcomings make the experience less comfortable than the appearance suggests. Since the property is still new, I hope management takes this feedback seriously. Most issues could be resolved relatively easily and would significantly improve the guest experience. Good design should be about functionality and comfort, not just aesthetics.

This hotel offers incredible value for money, seriously the best I've found in my dozen-plus trips to Korea! The front desk has self-service bottled water, tissues, coffee, and even contact lens solution. The room has a smart toilet and enough space for two large suitcases. The Incheon Airport bus 6007 takes you directly near the hotel, and it's about a 5-minute walk from there. Getting around by public transport is super convenient, as long as you're patient enough to figure out the local maps. A taxi to Gimpo Airport is only about 20 minutes and costs around ₩80,000 (roughly $80 USD). The hotel is located in an alley, so I wouldn't recommend it for solo female travelers, but it's perfectly fine if you're with a group. The room wasn't spotlessly clean, but the bedding was great, and while the shower didn't have a separate wet/dry area, the water quality was excellent – showers and hair washes felt really good. For ₩30,000-₩40,000 a night, this hotel truly is a fantastic deal!

The location is the best selling point, located right in front of Seoul Station Exit 10 (there's a short flight of stairs to exit the station). Hotel is equipped with an elevator. Room size is perfect for solo travellers that will be out all day and only need a place to sleep and shower. However, room space might be an issue if you have big luggages (I only had carry on luggage with me). The walls are a bit thin so I can hear the guests from the next room talking and switching off their lights, however I can't really fault it at the price that it is. Will definitely consider rebooking if im solo travelling in Seoul again.
