"The hotel was located in the middle of Myeongdong just a few minutes from the main shopping street, with a bus and metro station only a 2 minute walk away. It’s also one of the more affordable options, making it both convenient & budget-friendly.
It was the perfect base for exploring Seoul with ease. The rooms were clean & had all the necessary amenities. The receptionist was incredibly kind, very welcoming & helpful. He even made personalized stamps with our names for us to use during our stay, which was such a thoughtful touch.
I would definitely recommend this hotel!"

"Lovely stay in Incheon — great value if you understand the location
I stayed at this property in early April 2026 and overall had a really pleasant experience, but there’s one important thing future guests should know upfront: this is Incheon, not Seoul. More on that below.
The apartment itself
Small but exceptionally well-equipped. Everything you need is there — a proper kitchen, and importantly for me, a comfortable workspace with a real desk. I was working remotely on some days of the trip, and the desk setup made it genuinely productive, not just a tolerable improvisation. The bed was soft and comfortable.
Cleanliness
Impeccable. Floors were mopped and towels changed every single day, which I really appreciated. The apartment felt fresh throughout the stay.
Location — pros
The building is in a business district with easy metro access. There’s a beautiful park right nearby — in early April the trees were in full bloom, which was a magical bonus. Our windows looked out onto a bridge, which made for a lovely view.
Location — things to know
Don’t be misled by the proximity to Incheon Airport on the map. Getting into central Seoul takes 1.5–2 hours by metro, so plan your days accordingly. A taxi straight across the bridge is likely much faster if you’re in a hurry. If most of your trip is Seoul sightseeing, factor in significant commute time. If you’re working remotely, transiting through the airport, or specifically want a quieter base outside the city, the location is actually great.
Noise
There was some construction happening nearby, but the soundproofing is excellent — I genuinely didn’t notice it from inside the apartment.

Clean, comfortable, well-equipped apartments with great service and a beautiful park nearby. Perfect for a workation or an extended layover. Just go in with realistic expectations about the commute to Seoul proper"

KKaYan MayI am very, very satisfied with this hotel. The hotel staff is fluent in English and polite. The room is more than 400 feet, and it is very spacious. The room is clean, the bathroom is also very large, and the shower water pressure is very strong. Lotte Department Store is downstairs of the hotel. You don't need to take an umbrella even on a rainy day. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to Myeongdong. Next time come to Seoul, we will definitely check in again.

RRenzhenrenThis hotel is perfectly located! It's just south of Seoul City Hall Square and west of Myeongdong. The subway station is only a few dozen meters from the lobby entrance, and Sejong-daero is right to the west. It's also not far from the major palaces and Namsan, so the location couldn't be better. The staff are very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. While the facilities might feel a bit more compact compared to newly built five-star hotels in China, they are well-maintained and perfectly adequate. Overall, it offers great value for money.

AAF2310The location is good, directly opposite of the lake and next to Lotte world mall. To MTR it’s 5-7mins.
The front desk staff is not accommodative at all, any request is like „no, we can’t“ attitude.
As of the cleanness and amenities, first of all, the shower head did not work properly, the aircon did not work during the first night ( better the second and third) and the tooth brush glass had stains when I checked in ( see photo attached )
Overall, not recommended for luxury stay, but if it’s just a family vacay, why not.

CCiqingdaThe view is great, and as a suite, it's generally very good with no major drawbacks. The suite includes breakfast, afternoon tea, and happy hour. I didn't take photos of the breakfast, but it was extremely rich and delicious. Afternoon tea is shown in the pictures; there were no alcoholic beverages. The lighting and curtains are all smart-controlled, and there's an iPad by the bed to contact the hotel for requests. The space is also ample. The shower water pressure is excellent; both the overhead and handheld showers can be used simultaneously, and there's a seat. Various types of pillows are provided, such as memory foam pillows. Seoul's air quality is often poor, so the room is equipped with an air purifier, and you can call to have a humidifier delivered.
The location is convenient, with the subway station just a 5-minute walk away.
If I had to point out a drawback, the hotel has indeed been open for a number of years, and some basic features are a bit old. For example, the air conditioning lacks any advanced functions like scheduled shut-off; it only has a single temperature and fan speed setting.

EemilieQComfortable and clean, but most importantly, it's incredibly close to Myeongdong shopping street, just a 3-minute walk away. I highly recommend the executive floor rooms. While the breakfast and dinner at the club lounge aren't as varied as a typical buffet, they are more than sufficient and delicious. We left full every morning, and after a long day of shopping, we didn't have to worry about finding food. If I come back to Korea, I will definitely stay at Le Méridien Seoul Myeongdong again! 😁

GGuest UserThis hotel is located in Gangnam, making it super convenient to get to from the airport. The 6103 airport bus stop is right next door, there's a GS convenience store across the street, and COEX Mall is right beside it. The front desk is on the 5th floor. The room was clean and spacious overall. I'd definitely choose to stay here again.

FFengmodehuoI paid 1846 CNY for an accessible deluxe king room. To those of you reading this, please don't overlook the 'accessible' part – it really means accessible, in a way that’s not good. The bathroom, as shown in the first picture, has no wet/dry separation, so after a shower, the entire bathroom is soaked. If you absolutely must stay here, make sure to book a different room type. Secondly, the homepage stated a 1.8-meter king bed, but it was at most 1.5 meters (see picture 2), and one side was against the wall, which was extremely inconvenient. The detailed room photos didn't show anything like this! Thirdly, regarding the 'city view' from the bed (see picture 3), it was literally a wall outside the window, and there was a loud rumbling noise from somewhere outside – I honestly felt like calling the police! Finally, the details page said check-in starts at 3 PM. I went to check in at 3:10 PM, and was told that the specific room I booked was the only accessible one available and there were no other rooms to switch to. The Korean male at the front desk checking me in was really mean. I decided to go back to my room and contact Trip.com customer service. After over an hour of back-and-forth communication, and despite Trip.com trying to resolve the issue, it was incredibly frustrating. Who wants to land in Korea and immediately deal with this kind of crap? It really ruined my mood. Anyway, I gave up, accepted it, and just resigned myself to the situation. So, if you're reading this, consider carefully whether to book this hotel or use this platform. I later saw that the IHG official website had cheaper prices than what I paid, and I wonder if booking directly would have been better. Next time I'm in Seoul, I definitely won't choose this place; I'll try somewhere else.

GGuest UserThis place is really, really shady. I was traveling with two kids, and they told me I had to pay an extra 550,000, claiming a room is only for two adults and one child, and an additional child incurs a fee. I accepted it, but then they tried to charge me again for an extra bed! Meanwhile, they were super friendly to foreigners – what a bunch of chameleons.
The dust in the room's wardrobe was super thick, and the top surfaces were also dusty. The tissues in the room ran out on the first day and were never refilled; we went without tissues for the next three days.
Oh, and when I arrived at the hotel at 12 PM, they told me check-in wasn't until 3 PM. But once I paid the 550,000, I could check in immediately, haha~

GGuest UserHad a wonderful stay at Pullman Ambassador Seoul during our trip to Seoul. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with spacious and comfortable rooms, excellent cleanliness, and stunning city views.
The staff were warm, professional, and always willing to help, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The location is convenient, with easy access to public transportation and popular shopping areas such as Dongdaemun, Myeongdong, and Seongsu. The facilities, including the gym, pool, and lounge areas, were well-maintained and added to the overall experience.
A special mention to the breakfast buffet, which offered a wide variety of delicious Korean and international dishes. Everything was fresh and well presented.
Overall, this hotel provided the perfect balance of comfort, luxury, and convenience. I would highly recommend Pullman Ambassador Seoul to anyone visiting Seoul and would gladly stay here again on my next trip.

YYunhaI booked the Timber Room. The location was fantastic, especially being in the Gangbuk area. While the parking lot was spacious, the corners on the ramps going up and down were extremely narrow, requiring careful navigation. The 'mountain view' wasn't really visible from our room; I kept the curtains drawn because it felt like people right next door could easily see inside, which was a bit disappointing. The swimming pool was decent, and all the staff members were very friendly. Although I didn't try breakfast, it's known to be excellent, so I plan to have it on my next visit. The TV in the living room wasn't working for some reason. I was too lazy to try and fix it, so I just ate without it. It was a shame there was no table, and the sofa felt quite old, which was also a minor drawback. Despite these minor issues, there was absolutely no noise from upstairs, downstairs, or neighboring rooms. Opening the living room window let in lovely bird sounds, making it feel very nature-friendly.
