Good car, good service at car rent. Unclear about the Car Insurance between the trip.com and the local car rental. Looks like to pay twice, Unclear the process when claim Insurance from trip.com since the local car rental said that I have first pay to them then I have to claim myself trip.com, sounds like it is complicated process to use trip.com Insurance, but the car insurance is 50 euros cheaper when buy from trip.com

We rented a Mazda with basic insurance for three days in September 2025.
The office was easy to find. At Thessaloniki Airport, simply turn left after exiting baggage claim. The employee was friendly, and the process was quick. We checked in online before arrival. The rental agreement was sent by email, and then we were taken to the parking lot by shuttle in about three minutes. There, we received the keys to the car. It had low mileage (approximately 13,000 km) and drove well. There were a few minor scratches already present.
No problems arose during the rental period.
Returning the car was also quick and straightforward. There was no attempt to sell us additional insurance or to blame us for any damage. Nevertheless, it seemed a bit odd that we didn't have to sign either the rental agreement or the handover protocols.
