YYuesefu-This place is amazing! So clean, and my stay was absolutely fantastic. I came for the Xiaoyudi concert and even met a lot of fellow fans here, haha.
I was traveling solo in Shanghai, and this hostel really helped me break out of my shell! The front desk staff are great at getting everyone involved; they added me to the guest chat group right when I checked in, and I found someone to explore the Bund with that same day. The common area is spacious with board games and cards, and they often organize game nights, making it easy for even introverted people to join in. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, so it wasn't noisy at all. If you're looking to meet new people in Shanghai, this is definitely the place to choose!

It's located right in the city center, just over 200 meters from the subway station, making it super convenient for getting around. It's also very close to the Bund and Chenghuang Temple. If you're up for it, you can even grab a shared bike to visit nearby attractions. The lobby offers luggage storage, and there are notes from past guests on the walls, plus travel tips. PPato LuI stayed for one night at Dengba Inn and was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The location is excellent—just a few meters from the Zhenxin New Village subway station, which made it very easy to find and convenient for getting around Shanghai.
The hostel has a spacious common area that’s clean, well-lit, and perfect for relaxing or socializing with other travelers. It gave the place a cozy, welcoming vibe.
My room was also larger than expected for a 6-person dorm, with plenty of space to move around and store luggage. The bed was soft and comfortable, and although I had to make the bed myself (which was a bit unusual), the bedding was clean and neatly stored inside the locker along with ample space for my belongings. Once set up, it felt very homey and private.
Bathrooms and shared facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the whole place had a relaxed, backpacker-friendly atmosphere. Staff were polite and helpful, although I didn’t need much assistance during my short stay.
For budget-conscious travelers or those looking for an easy, comfortable place to stay near public transport, I’d highly recommend Dengba Inn. It offers great value for money, with clean rooms, a fantastic location, and a chill vibe that makes it easy to feel at home—even if just for a night.

PPrawit NgamsiripolDengba hostel is quite a busy venue with great location,full of teenager energy and vibes,fully booked and a busy place. Some room need T.L.C.at some points such as the bad position of wall mount cloth hanger( the bathroom ) too close to the shower faucet and other fixing. Too many visitors but less maid or housekeeper to keep up especially at evening time.The staff are very helpful via Google translate app.The bed (bunk bed fixing) is quite loose and making squeaky noise every time I turned while sleeping. There are so many food Venues/ stalls in this busy area. So many Chinese youngsters love to order delivery foods. I would love to come back staying again. 4/5 satisfaction. You can ask for an ear plug if you have to sleep with a snorer 🤣🤣🤣. You can get here by taking Metro Line2. and walk to Lmall underground with A/C and following the MRT Line 9 Shangcheng road station exit 2

GGuest UserThe location is excellent. It's very convenient to go out and play. It's very close to the subway station. It was my first time staying in a youth hostel and the experience was great. The front desk lady who went there at noon was very beautiful and very enthusiastic. She patiently solved my problem. She is so beautiful and so approachable. It's comfortable to deal with beautiful women. I checked in smoothly. The environment is very comfortable and clean. I will stay here again next time. I hope the front desk lady will still be there next time I come.

GGuest UserThe hostel it isn’t in the main center but with just two metro line (line 2 and line 14) you can reach all the main attraction of Shangai, without taking too long. I tried two different room (because I add one more night once I arrived at the hostel) and the second one was very comfortable (the share room with 4 bunk bed and a private bathroom). The “patio” outside was very nice to read some books, have a dinner or just chat and take some fresh air.

MM11176****The hotel's location is excellent, just seven or eight minutes from the subway station. If you're coming from the train station or heading to Nanjing Road or the Bund, I recommend taking bus 930; it's less crowded, close to the hotel, and only one or two stops away. The lady at the front desk was very kind; there was an available room, so I was able to check in early. Thank you. The facilities are comprehensive, with a double-door refrigerator, a bathtub, a shower, a smart toilet, and high-end brand air conditioning. Even the hairdryer is a reputable brand worth several hundred yuan. The experience was truly great. I don't want to go into too much detail, but I'll definitely choose this place again when I visit Shanghai in the future. The only downsides were a bit of dampness and some noise from the construction work going on outside the building. That was a bit disappointing. However, it wasn't an issue at night as they stopped working. Overall, it was still perfect. Getting food delivery or groceries was also very convenient.

The dormitory beds have curtains for privacy, a mirror, and charging sockets. The shared bathrooms were clean. Overall, I had a great stay.
