"The hotel is wonderful, with friendly staff and more than enough to get by. There is a supermarket about 1km away and a few restaurants close by. The old town is a bit far away with about 2.2km walk until you reach it. When you get to the old town there are wonderful restaurants and shops all along the roads. Really enjoyed the town!"

"We arrived during the closed reception period, but were still helped from the 'breakfast room' staff adjacent; they locked our bags in the reception until it reopened. We had a very helpful receptionist and even though the info centre was close by, we never needed to go there as she imparted useful info tailored for us and the locale. The stairwell was nice and we used the lift initially for our bags. The street had a celebration one day, closed with stalls out front and music at both ends of the street. Turning left from the hotel there is a square that marks the path to the old town hall over the river. Opposite the plaza is the market street. All so close as is the river walk to Hain Park with its spa on the bank. And the river Regnitz had swimmers in a couple of spots and a little cafe not too far in. There is a lower bridge to view the Rathaus bridge and the river split. On the opposite side of the river there is the Dom platz where we started our day with an organ recital and ended the day on that side at a jazz club. For those concerned, the WC's are marked on the area map. You are close to most you want to see staying at the Baldinger and the brew haus nearby (right of the entry) was fun! The hotel offers the green option if you don't need cleaning each day, honoured at the neighbour shops."
