Villa Mediterranea

"Stayed for 5 nights at Villa Mediterranea. We had a double room overlooking the pool. The room was comfy, had a kitchenette and an en-suite bathroom. The whole place was scrupulously clean and very comfortable. The small staff team were incredibly helpful. Led by Mel who was friendly, flexible and helpful (he lugged our ridiculously heavy suitcase up two flights of stairs!). The Villa is a 10 minute stroll from the very lovely harbour side and a similar 10 minute stroll in the other direction to Zlatni Rat. There is a decent beach seconds away from the Villa. Breakfast every morning is homemade, tasty and plentiful. The only issue my wife and I had was the slightly small shower cubicle (we are both over 6 feet tall). We can thoroughly recommend Villa Mediterannea"

Bretanide Sport & Wellness Resort - All Inclusive

"Nine years ago, thanks to a friend's recommendation, we spent three days at this resort, one of those that makes you say, "We have to come back here." Finally, this summer, we decided to repeat the experience. A German resort frequented primarily by Germans, which in practical terms means: cleanliness and respect for the environment and others, no unnecessary noise, and kids reading under their umbrellas instead of sitting with their phones in their hands. Service was top-notch (with the added bonus of the very young, eager, and committed staff). The food was amazing for an all-inclusive resort, from breakfast to dinner. The sea was fabulous, with a private pebble beach that was quiet and clean. A 10-minute walk to the legendary Golden Horn (Zlatni Rat), and 20 minutes in the opposite direction, all spent on a splendid sea-view promenade, was the charming town of Bol, with its docking station for superyachts and the catamaran connection to Split, and its delicious restaurants.
