DOMA Group Hotels in Canberra

Canberra is a verdant landscaped city. While public transport is somewhat limited its small size and excellent walking pathways offer 5-10 minute walks to reach most major amenities or local shops and services. Hotel Realm is in the very central Barton district and a healthy walk to most major sites and museums, galleries and houses of parliament. Overall a good choice for both business and tourists.

Location in a lovely garden setting was perfect and parking out front of the hotel was easy and convenient. Very quiet at night. Room (Superior King) was large, well set out and had lots of windows. Bed was extremely comfortable. Only negative was that a queen sized doona was on the king bed, which left it a bit on the small side. Bedding and pillows were all excellent of good quality. Staff were friendly,although when we asked for the doona to be replaced with a larger one, we were told upon returning to the hotel later that it had been done. It had not. The main downside of this well-kept and attractive hotel is that there is no food or bar facilities, although they provide links to nearby cafes and other eateries. About 10 to 15 minutes walk takes you to to the main restaurant area of Manuka.

This two bedroom apartment is very modern and comfortable. Bed mattress is plush and supporting. Staff are friendly and helpful.

THE MOST COMFORTABLE BEDS on the planet. Rooms are small but efficient with blackout blinds that are truly blackout blinds and privacy screens. The bed takes up the entire width of the room but is a king and is like sleeping on a cloud. There is a central common area on each floor - a library- for reading/relaxing or working and a lounge - for relaxing and enjoying a beverage. The toiletries in the rooms are all quality and there are also additional amenities on each floor. Staff are friendly, professional and helpful.

This hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, surrounded by a big supermarket, all three-story apartments, no elevator, the first floor is the dining room kitchen and living room, the second floor is the bedroom, parking is free, it is not very friendly for families with large suitcases, it is best to choose the first floor
