Canberra is a verdant landscaped city. While public transport is somewhat limited its small size and excellent walking pathways offer 5-10 minute walks to reach most major amenities or local shops and services. Hotel Realm is in the very central Barton district and a healthy walk to most major sites and museums, galleries and houses of parliament. Overall a good choice for both business and tourists.

THE MOST COMFORTABLE BEDS on the planet.
Rooms are small but efficient with blackout blinds that are truly blackout blinds and privacy screens. The bed takes up the entire width of the room but is a king and is like sleeping on a cloud. There is a central common area on each floor - a library- for reading/relaxing or working and a lounge - for relaxing and enjoying a beverage.
The toiletries in the rooms are all quality and there are also additional amenities on each floor. Staff are friendly, professional and helpful.

The service is really good and the price is very favorable.
This place is not far from the city center. It is in an address that is close enough but not noisy.
The room is very clean and the facilities are very complete!

Location in a lovely garden setting was perfect and parking out front of the hotel was easy and convenient. Very quiet at night.
Room (Superior King) was large, well set out and had lots of windows. Bed was extremely comfortable. Only negative was that a queen sized doona was on the king bed, which left it a bit on the small side. Bedding and pillows were all excellent of good quality. Staff were friendly, although when we asked for the doona to be replaced with a larger one, we were told upon returning to the hotel later that it had been done. It had not.

The main downside of this well-kept and attractive hotel is that there is no food or bar facilities, although they provide links to nearby cafes and other eateries. About 10 to 15 minutes walk takes you to to the main restaurant area of Manuka.

The location of the hotel was perfect, right above Wynyard station. It was so easy to get around.

The hotel itself was fantastic with great amenities, one of the best hotel gyms I've been to and super helpful staff.

The rooms were perfect for a solo traveller, it seemed spacious enough for two people even with a huge super king bed.

Would 100% recommend.

A recent visit to Newcastle we chose to stay with Little National Hotel where we enjoyed relaxing refreshing moment with friendly staff and sparklingly clean bedding, gym etc. welcome chocolate and variety tea choices make the stay perfect ! I would wish to have more shelf and storage though
