The hotel looks much better in person than it does in the pictures online, which was a nice surprise. As for the sleep, you really do get what you pay for — it wasn't the most luxurious, but for a budget option, it was decent enough. Overall, it exceeded my expectations for the price, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a simple,"

"We had a lovely overnight stay at the Sandman. It was wonderfully clean and quiet. The desk service was very good and they were helpful, noting we would be checking out before breakfast service and offering us a picnic breakfast to take with us. The only downside of this hotel was its isolation which meant you needed to use the restaurant on site. The servers were polite and attentive but the kitchen was incredibly slow, which was very disappointing.
We also tried the pool and gym which were clean and basic."

Its was dark and eerily quiet to get to, room was without heating and the hot water kettle was rusty and peeling. "Very close to Gatwick airport outskirts and very easy to get there by shuttle bus costing £5 one way to the hotel. Check in is a quick affair with no dramas and the reception staff are very efficient and friendly. The room is spacious, clean and warm and the bed is excellent. Very good bathroom and shower and there is tea and coffee facilities and the use of a fridge if you have your own food items.
Cable TV is good but limited channels. The hotel restaurant has a good selection of meals and drinks and the seating area is comfortable and inviting. Housekeeping are excellent and do a great job for you. Overall, a very comfortable staff at a relatively cost effective price for the Gatwick airport area. I highly recommend. I will be back 😁"

"Front office staff all great. Nice gym. Rooms refurbished, neat and clean though a bit small. Only complaint is the housekeeping. A little spotty. One of the day no housekeeping despite hanging the housekeeping required card outside the door the whole day. And then 2 of the days they just removed the rubber mat for the bath tub. I asked reception to for it to be replaced and they gave me fabric floor mats instead of rubber mats.
So in all, will recommend for the location if you wanna stay around the airport but not at the airport. There is a small town Crawley for food, malls and supermarket within walking distance."

"My friends and I had a fantastic experience at the Ibis Styles London Gatwick Airport. The food at the downstairs bar was absolutely delicious, with really fresh ingredients. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly, check-in was super efficient, and they patiently answered all our questions. The cleanliness, environment, and facilities were all impeccable. We'll definitely choose to stay here again!"

"I chose this hotel due to its proximity to my cabin crew training centre. My room was clean, comfortable and modern with everything I needed for a great stay including an extremely comfortable mattress, a very nice shower and a kettle. I noticed how quiet it was too. All of these things combined meant that I was able to fully relax and sleep deeply. The staff were also very attentive and friendly. Also, regarding food & drink; the hotel offers an extensive menu. There are also places nearby including an M&S which is a 5 minute walk away. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone."
