"I've stayed here multiple times; it's very good. It's a great value hotel in Cux. It's very new. The front desk staff speaks fluent English and are friendly to Chinese guests, although there are very few Chinese guests. It's a 3-minute drive to McDonald's, Burger King, and Lidl supermarket, and a 10-minute drive to the beach. Very good. The rooms are a bit small, but still acceptable. The facilities are average."

Together with his wife Helga, they were both a congenial duo. This was shown especially when selecting their staff. Many of them have been working here for years, very for the pleasure of the guests. Highly motivated, the serviceable spirits are doing their jobs. And so that the physical well-being is not too short, two restaurants have been created. The starlock, which has been awarded Michelin star for decades and the shaarhorn, also highly praised by many restaurant guides. All in all a perfect house. "Rooms new, but simply furnished, not of special quality. Bad a disaster that there is something like this today! Old cakes and equipment from the 1970s, wash basin had already a crack, water hane was not individually adjustable, so defect. Dush with high entrance and fungi in the corners. - Breakfast offer was good, breakfast room attractive. But here not all guests are treated equally. Some of them are something very special for it. We had to clean a table with a full coffee cup and full dishes, although other tables were still free because this table was intended for three other guests. Without reservation instructions, well noted! Just so, we were probably only guests 2. Class. This thing has never happened to us in a hotel and we were already in hundreds of accommodation. When paying the tax we were not asked if we liked it. No, it doesn't, we'll never come back and can only abate anyone of this establishment. There are many better accommodation in Cuxhaven."

"The location is good, across the road from the beach and the visitor centre. Friendly reception. The room was recently renovated and comfortable to sleep in. It was enough for me travelling solo. They offer tea coffee amenities in the room with a kettle. They have an excellent breakfast, I loved their fresh bakery items and there was enough for my vegetarian needs. They also had a lot of meat options but I didn’t partake of those. They give a printout of the day’s options in Cuxhaven on the table which I felt was very thoughtful. I was there for one night and leaving after breakfast so couldn’t make much use of their daily planner. Would definitely stay here again if I go to Cuxhaven again."
