Mercure Hotels in Datong

I checked in at night and Xiao Tian handled everything quickly. There was a faint smell of smoke in the twin room for some reason, but the staff were very proactive in resolving the issue and upgraded us to a family room. Overall, it was a great experience. The hotel is very close to the high-speed train station, which is perfect if you're leaving by train the next day. It's even more affordable if you have a Ctrip voucher.

I'm so glad I chose this Mercure for my trip to Datong! The hotel facilities are very new, and the French light luxury ambiance is fantastic. The room is spacious and clean, the bedding is super comfortable, and the smart toilet and separate wet/dry bathroom are a great experience. The soundproofing is good, so I slept soundly at night. The front desk staff were efficient and polite during check-in, and the service was attentive. The location is convenient for getting around, close to the ancient city and the high-speed train station. There's also a laundry room and a gym, making it suitable for both leisure and business travelers. Highly recommended, I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Datong!
