I truly found an amazing guesthouse, no exaggeration. Due to work, I booked this guesthouse close to my trip, and even then, I had to reschedule twice with the guesthouse because of work and flight issues, which made me feel quite embarrassed… Also, this time I was traveling with elderly family members, and there were only two flights a day from Shanghai to Datong, both of which were delayed. The guesthouse proactively offered to pick us up from the airport, arriving an hour early and picking us up around 10 PM. They even tried to find us something to eat along the way – so touching!! Furthermore, the guesthouse is located in the old town, which is incredibly convenient. Restaurants and attractions are all within walking distance, and even slightly further away places like Huayan Temple and Shanhua Temple are only about a 20-minute walk away! The rooms themselves are equipped with smart voice control. It can be a bit dry in winter, so they even provided a humidifier. There's underfloor heating under the tatami mats, and during my two-day stay, even at around -14 degrees Celsius, it wasn't cold at all! Seriously, blindly choosing this guesthouse online was absolutely fantastic! I've already recommended it to my friends, and I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip! Centrally located, not huge but well-maintained. The room is large, spacious, quiet, and equipped with many amenities, including air conditioning, automatic curtains, a kettle with tea and coffee, a shower, and a bathtub. Located on the basement floor, but with a large window overlooking the courtyard. The receptionists were friendly, spoke little English, and were always available to help with reservations for various attractions. We also took advantage of the pick-up service from the train station to the property, included in the price. The cleanliness was also very good. Excellent value for money. Recommended!

The hotel has been recently renovated, so the facilities are new and very upscale. The rooms are neat and clean, the service is excellent, laundry is convenient, and the breakfast is plentiful! It's not far from Wanda Plaza, making dining, entertainment, and shopping very accessible!

There are many homestays in the ancient city wall of Datong, because I have traveled to other cities and stayed in homestays before, and my family has a bad impression of the homestay. But this time, I was really surprised. First of all, let’s talk about hygiene. The room was not cleaned before we checked in. We waited for a while in the yard. The beautiful boss made tea for us and took small snacks. After 5 hours of boating and car work, it was really warm. After the room was cleaned up, the boss personally checked it twice. He went in barefoot to check it, and every detail was not missed. The facilities are very good, all are smart, and direct drinking water is very convenient. The child likes the environment on the negative floor very much, so we lived in negative one, caught up with the tail of the holiday, the upstairs was almost full, and there was our family on negative one. The next day we slept until we woke up naturally and there was no noise. The homestay is at the foot of the city wall, and there is a scenic shuttle bus not far behind the house. It is very convenient to go to various attractions. It is very comfortable to bathe in the morning sun outside the campus. I hope it has been so good and will stay again next time.

I did a lot of research on guesthouses before coming to Datong, and this one was absolutely fantastic, even exceeding my expectations! The guesthouse's decor was just perfect. Every corner was cozy, the furniture and warm lighting created a wonderful atmosphere, and the greenery and artwork in the common areas were stylish. You didn't even need to find the perfect angle; every shot was a picture-perfect post for social media. The owner and staff's service was absolutely amazing! We arrived in the evening, and they kindly recommended some highly-rated local restaurants nearby. They responded quickly to any questions we had during our stay, and we were taken care of very well – it felt like being at a friend's house. The environment was also fantastic, quiet despite being in a bustling area. There was absolutely no noise at night, allowing me to completely relax after a long day and sleep soundly. The location was a huge plus. It's just a 10-15 minute walk to Huayan Temple and the Nine Dragon Wall, making it perfect for exploring historical sites with friends or a romantic getaway with your partner. This trip to Datong was made even better by this guesthouse, and I've already recommended it to friends who are planning to visit. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

A very cozy and comfortable B&B, located right in the ancient town's pedestrian street, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling area. The courtyard is spacious, the rooms are clean, and all amenities are of high quality. Breakfast is plentiful, and the staff are friendly. The location is excellent, with all of the ancient town's attractions within walking distance, which is great when traveling with kids as it saves a lot of hassle. Plus, many popular restaurants often have long queues, but because this place is so close, you can easily grab takeout and enjoy your meal back at the hotel, saving a lot of waiting time. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Datong.

Booked this hotel and had a fantastic time in Datong! The location is superb, really convenient for dining. You're practically right next to Zini, Longjuxiang, and Fenglingge. During the summer holidays, it was quite busy, so we'd grab a number and head back to the hotel to relax while waiting – very comfortable. It was also easy to get around; we could walk to Huayan Temple, Guandi Temple, and several other ancient city attractions in about five minutes. For places further out, getting a taxi right outside was also fine. The decor is very antique and charming, and the cleanliness was good! Despite being within the ancient city walls, it was genuinely quiet, and I'm very satisfied~

The environment is really nice, the owner is very considerate and speaks very gently. Highly recommended for both sightseeing and accommodation. It's also very convenient for eating, drinking, and entertainment nearby, right across from Wanda Plaza. Highly recommended!

This is a newly opened hotel right in the heart of the ancient city. It's super convenient to walk to Shanhua Temple, Huayan Temple, and Dongnan Post, and there are tons of great local snacks and restaurants nearby. The hotel also has an underground parking garage with EV charging stations. Sitting in the courtyard enjoying the sun in the afternoon or stargazing at night is wonderfully relaxing. The service here is excellent too; messages to the housekeeper on WeChat are answered instantly. It was a very pleasant stay, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Datong.
