The guesthouse has a beautiful courtyard and adorable cats you can pet to your heart's content. The room was neat and clean; though a bit small, it was perfectly adequate for our trip, which might be due to the room type we chose. The staff were very welcoming and promptly resolved any issues we had. Breakfast was quite good with a decent variety. For the price, it offers great value for money. Its location in the old town also makes getting around very convenient. Recommended.

I saw pictures of this guesthouse on Xiaohongshu on Friday, and by Monday, I was off on an impromptu four-day, three-night in-depth trip to Datong. This guesthouse has an excellent location, facing Huayan Temple, and its interior design is quite unique. My room didn't have a window, but thanks to the indoor dry landscape garden and the ceiling lights mimicking outdoor light, it didn't feel stuffy at all. The whole place features smart home technology. They provide complimentary fruit, snacks, drinks, and even an in-room foot spa basin. There's also a laundry room available. The staff were incredibly friendly. The next day, when I left for the Yungang Grottoes and the Yingxian Wooden Pagoda, they even packed me breakfast (eggs and corn) at my request. It was a lifesaver, as I didn't have time for lunch during my day's itinerary. I also saw guests who ordered afternoon tea taking photos here. Highly recommended!

The second time I came to Datong, because it was the Dragon Boat Festival, I booked this hotel with the idea of booking first and then looking at other hotels. It should be the latest room to stay in. The store contacted in advance to inform the surrounding food and asked for the details of the stay in advance. The experience of staying is very good, and the hotel's various details are in place. Generally, I will take my children out during the holiday. There are many hotels in hotels across the country. This is definitely my ten hotels before I check in. I will come back next time! ! !

The room was very clean and tidy, and the hotel was bright and airy. Because it was peak tourist season and hotels in Datong were too expensive, I chose to stay in Huai'ren District at the last minute. Unexpectedly, the experience was excellent. The room had a high ceiling and was very spacious, and the cleanliness was superb. The only drawback was that the small platform in the shower area would have made showering more convenient if it weren't there. Next time I visit Datong, I will definitely stay in Huai'ren again. The hotel breakfast was very plentiful.

I truly found an amazing guesthouse, no exaggeration. Due to work, I booked this guesthouse close to my trip, and even then, I had to reschedule twice with the guesthouse because of work and flight issues, which made me feel quite embarrassed… Also, this time I was traveling with elderly family members, and there were only two flights a day from Shanghai to Datong, both of which were delayed. The guesthouse proactively offered to pick us up from the airport, arriving an hour early and picking us up around 10 PM. They even tried to find us something to eat along the way – so touching!! Furthermore, the guesthouse is located in the old town, which is incredibly convenient. Restaurants and attractions are all within walking distance, and even slightly further away places like Huayan Temple and Shanhua Temple are only about a 20-minute walk away! The rooms themselves are equipped with smart voice control. It can be a bit dry in winter, so they even provided a humidifier. There's underfloor heating under the tatami mats, and during my two-day stay, even at around -14 degrees Celsius, it wasn't cold at all! Seriously, blindly choosing this guesthouse online was absolutely fantastic! I've already recommended it to my friends, and I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip! Finally, I wish the guesthouse great success!

This hotel is huge and in a fantastic location. You can see Daiwang Mansion and Kuixing Tower right from the window, and there's a lovely lawn in front. I even got to make a lacquer fan with the hotel's young staff! The breakfast was incredibly rich and exquisite; the noodle dishes were all handmade by an auntie, and the vegetables were grown by the owner herself. Shanxi noodles are truly delicious, and I highly recommend trying the auntie's big meat buns! The dining environment and service were excellent, with dedicated one-on-one service during meals. The toiletries in the room are the lovely-smelling Acca Kappa, and the hand soap is Aesop – every corner shows how much thought was put into this place. It's truly a unique experience to stay in such a refined guesthouse within the ancient city. They even gave us a thoughtful souvenir when we left. I'm looking forward to visiting Datong again! I highly recommend everyone to stay here!

Temporarily decided to stay in Datong Ancient City and chose the newly opened Furen Residential B&B. It is very close to the taxi drop-off point, and it takes a few steps to walk there. Butler Xiaolan also came out to greet us. Because during May 1st, I booked a room type in the basement. I have never lived in such a room type before, and I have a little bit of a cockroach at the beginning. But the experience is very good, the air is good and quiet. My child and I are very satisfied. There is an elevator to the room, there is a heated towel rack, coffee machine, mini bar in the room. When I checked in, I sent a personable Buddha companion, and the child was so happy! It is not far from the homestay to the central areas such as the Kaige Restaurant in Southeast Shanghai and Huayan Temple, and it is just a short walk away. It is also very close to the city wall. Butler Xiaolan is also very enthusiastic. I heard that I immediately gave me cold medicine because I had a cold temperature difference in Yungang. thank you very much! A small problem is that the bedside lamp can be fixed on the wall, and it is easy to hit the head.

The service of this homestay is really good. I didn't see the road at night. I received the parking lot and helped us with our luggage. I also prepared a fruit plate, mung bean soup, and cold tea! The parking location is downstairs of the house. The boss said that he bought a parking space and a charging pile. It is too convenient to go out by car! The location of the homestay is good and convenient to travel! The small courtyard is very exquisite, did not catch up with the drone show, but you can see the stars. Our family of three stayed in this room type. The big bed room with a sofa bed was separated. When it arrived, the small bed was already laid. The baby said that the mattress of the small bed was a bit hard, and it would be better to improve it. However, the big bed is very comfortable, and the mattress and bedding are very comfortable.

This trip to the train station and guesthouse was fantastic! The staff were warm and attentive, and the pick-up and drop-off at the guesthouse from the South Station was seamless. The guesthouse was clean, comfortable, and had a cozy atmosphere. Datong city is very friendly, and overall I was extremely satisfied! I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Datong, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

I did a lot of research on guesthouses before coming to Datong, and this one was absolutely fantastic, even exceeding my expectations! The guesthouse's decor was just perfect. Every corner was cozy, the furniture and warm lighting created a wonderful atmosphere, and the greenery and artwork in the common areas were stylish. You didn't even need to find the perfect angle; every shot was a picture-perfect post for social media. The owner and staff's service was absolutely amazing! We arrived in the evening, and they kindly recommended some highly-rated local restaurants nearby. They responded quickly to any questions we had during our stay, and we were taken care of very well – it felt like being at a friend's house. The environment was also fantastic, quiet despite being in a bustling area. There was absolutely no noise at night, allowing me to completely relax after a long day and sleep soundly. The location was a huge plus. It's just a 10-15 minute walk to Huayan Temple and the Nine Dragon Wall, making it perfect for exploring historical sites with friends or a romantic getaway with your partner. This trip to Datong was made even better by this guesthouse, and I've already recommended it to friends who are planning to visit. I'll definitely stay here again next time!
