"Great room with balcony and view of the lake. Room 7. I would stay again. Unfortunately i was not aware that the Restaurant was closed due to Renovation. I would not have booked this accommodation at this time if I'd known this as this was supposed to be part of the night away with walking distance to dinner"

"What a lovely place to stay away from the busy beach area and crowds. Merryl the hostess greets you at the door with a wonderful warm smile and you can tell she is very proud of their piece of paradise they have carved out for themselves. The heritage home is decorated to reflect its age. The furnishings are lovely. Everywhere they have little treats, my husband loved that as he had a sweet tooth. Our room was large with a very very comfortable 4 poster bed. I would love to take home with me. I nice fireplace kept us cozy all night. The accommodation was clean. A lovely kitchenette. The veranda had comfortable chairs with a table to put your drinks on plus a table & with normal chairs if you wanted to play a card game outside. We enjoyed looking at the river and listening to the birds in the afternoon with our drinks and in the morning with our coffee. Breakfast was delicious with a huge variety. The best croissants I have tasted in a long time. Don’t make the same mistake I did in the past, I bypassed this little gem as we are not usual into heritage furnishings and B&B. Our stay was delightful and we will be back again very soon. Hopefully there will be a suite available as I am sure once word gets out we will have to book well in advance.
