"The overall experience and service at Masseria San Domenico was excellent. This is a must visit resort. Food at the restaurant was of very high quality. Concierge and the staff in general were friendly knowledgeable and always helpful. The establishment was extremely clean and the environment was very calm. Given the opportunity we would definitely return and recommend the establishment!"

"Staying at Bambarone La Masseria was one of the our highlights of our trip to Puglia. We loved our room which was perfect for four (2 adults and 2 kids) - the Il Nachiro. It was spacious, beautifully decorated and stayed cool in the summer heat. The host Pierfrancesco was friendly and welcoming! The grounds of the property are also very beautiful and peaceful. The breakfast room and outdoor seating was so inviting and a delight to spend time in. Breakfast was presented beautifully and had an excellent selection. It was delicious too! We would love to return again and we're praying for Pierfrancesco and the team that they will have their swimming pool permit approved ASAP! Then that would make the property 6 stars!!"

"A lovely 15th century hotel with a very good restaurant and great, friendly service. Our room in the tower had 37 stairs (very high) and no elevator so it's something to check on if physical restrictions, but we had a great view. very large bathroom. The shuttle service to the private beach/club just a few minutes away was quick, and it was great having a down day in the son."

"Picnic Experience We did the picnic experience and it was nice but nothing amazing. The food was very heavy bread / pasta / potato which is great because it was filling but it was a very hot day so you couldn’t let the food sit and felt like you needed to eat it all in one sitting. The shade also shifted very early so we were in the direct sunlight for a couple of hours - and all the ice melted in the drinks container. Something to keep in mind a child is the same price as an adult, and we knew this prior to booking but on reflection this whole experience was probably a bit of a waste of money. You can certainly get better value for money elsewhere. It was cute but just okay in our opinion."

"We were very disappointed with the quality of this accommodation. We spent three nights (June 4-7) in the Aranci room, on the ground floor of a small orange grove, where we were constantly forced to live in near darkness, with the shutters closed as there were no curtains on the windows. The garden wasn't truly private, as other guests came to relax in the hammock strung between two orange trees. There were no other windows in the room, and the French doors on the ground floor meant we had to sleep without being able to enjoy the cool night air or normal ventilation. We felt like we were sleeping in a box (the small skylights were insufficient). There wasn't enough storage for folded clothes in the room, only clothes rails for long garments, and even then, not very long ones. The room was far too expensive for this inadequate level of comfort. Large capacity, not very intimate like other masserias, lots of families with young children, so not much peace and quiet at the pool (you can't really swim in it, just splash around). Very close to the highway, which you can hear when you're in the garden and by the pool. Good, hearty breakfast. The masseria is well renovated and nicely decorated in the common areas. We don't recommend it; poor value for money."

"We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Bianco Riccio and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting this beautiful part of Puglia. The hotel is beautifully decorated throughout, with stylish, comfortable rooms that were kept spotless. We really appreciated the complimentary bottled water replenished each day – a thoughtful touch, especially during the summer heat. The staff were friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. It was particularly nice to see the manager visible every day, taking the time to check in with guests and ensure everyone was enjoying their stay. That personal attention made a real difference. The pool area is lovely, with a relaxed atmosphere and attentive bar staff who were always on hand for drinks and snacks. Breakfast offered a good selection and was an enjoyable start to each day. The only small improvement would be if all menu items were included, rather than some being available at an additional charge. The location is excellent for exploring the stunning Adriatic coastline and nearby towns such as Ostuni, Monopoli and Polignano a Mare. Having free on-site parking was another big advantage and made getting around very easy. Overall, a beautiful hotel with excellent service in a great location"

"The most incredible place I have ever been. I highly recommend staying at Calderisi but also hosting a wedding here! From the moment we began communicating with Elena, Elio and their staff, I felt so at ease, taken care of and like I made new friends, they went way above and beyond for us. I was so sad to leave, I could have stayed forever! This place is beautiful, well taken care of, amazing staff, the chef cares deeply about the cuisine and prepares the most delicious food. The wedding started with a welcome dinner then on to wedding festivities and closed with a beach celebration and lunch. Every single guest was AMAZED by the ambiance, cuisine and friendliness of the staff. 2 amazing people, Elio and Elena, were our main contacts and I would come back just to see them! Incredible place. Amazing people. Delicious food. A MUST for anyone vision Puglia."

"We spent a wonderful eight days at Masseria Sottomassi which surpassed all expectations. We were a group of 14 for a special birthday celebration. The grounds, the thoughtful & imaginable interior design of the rooms and natural beautify of the regions also exceeded expectations. The property is well placed to access the coast & beach clubs, to gorgeous small Puglian hill towns & history. Thousands of olive trees, some of which are thousands of years old stand out. The staff of Sottomasi make it shine! From Pino & Zeto, to the kitchen crew to of course Ruth for her vision. A holiday that will stay in our hearts. It’s a special place we already want to return to."
