Hotels in Chinese-Baroque Daowai Areas, Harbin

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were truly superb — friendly, professional, and always ready to help. We are especially grateful for the smooth airport transfer arrangement and for the thoughtful recommendations of nearby halal restaurants, which made our trip so much easier and more comfortable. The room was clean and cozy, and the overall service exceeded our expectations. Thank you for the warm hospitality — we would be happy to stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

The room I booked in advance turned out to be much better than I expected. I had reserved a standard King Room, but upon arrival, the front desk upgraded me directly to a VIP King Room. Overall, I was very satisfied. The room's soundproofing was also quite good. Its location made it very convenient for exploring. Dining, entertainment, and transportation were all exceptionally convenient. All in all, this was the most comfortable stay I've had on a trip.

The room facilities are relatively new, with a modern decor. The location is excellent, right in front of a subway station, making travel very convenient. It took about 20 minutes to get to the Harbin Ice and Snow World, which was absolutely beautiful. There are many authentic Northeastern food options near the hotel, especially in Laodaowai. There's a Northeastern restaurant directly across the street where the Guo Bao Rou (sweet and sour pork) was incredibly delicious and the portions were huge. The hotel is under the Jinjiang brand, and the breakfast was very rich. Overall, I was very satisfied.

Even though the room was a bit cold and located on the first floor, they upgraded our room type. The front desk staff were incredibly nice, and the bed was a comfortable 180cm king-size. This is a stark contrast to a certain hotel (Dongyuan Riverside Hotel), which falsely advertised a 180cm bed when it was clearly only 160cm. When we pointed it out, they still insisted it was 180cm, and the manager looked like we owed him a fortune. There's really no comparison; Huajiantang is a fantastic choice for booking a hotel when traveling – great location and excellent service!

I highly recommend this hotel! The service attitude is truly excellent. The young man at the front desk was very patient and detailed in explaining tourist attractions to me, including how to get there by bus and subway, which are both very convenient. He also told me where to find the morning market, night market, and local specialty snacks. They even provide complimentary slippers, bottled water, candy, and heat patches – the owner is incredibly thoughtful! The room facilities are complete, the Wi-Fi signal is excellent, and there's 24-hour hot water. It's incredibly good value for money. I definitely recommend it!

We had a great stay! The room was spacious and clean. The front desk were very polite. I would like give a special thanks to the beautiful lady in the front desk who helped translated everything for me and help me find a laundry.

Give a good review. You can't expect too much for this price. The boss lady is very nice! I came in a hurry and didn't have time to bring all the things. The boss lady also gave me a warm baby! I can recommend it to my friends who come to Harbin in the future. The location is good. It is very close to the subway entrance of Line 3, and opposite is the Chinese Baroque Style Street! There is also a supermarket next to it for convenient living!

My friend decided to visit Harbin on a whim and unintentionally booked the Melbourne Homestay. The environment, cleanliness, and facilities were surprisingly excellent. It's a 10-minute walk to the Chinese Baroque Museum; a 10-minute taxi ride to the Flood Control Monument, Central Street, and St. Sophia Cathedral; and the subway station is right downstairs, making transportation incredibly convenient. The ambiance is warm-toned, the appliances and amenities are complete, and the room is exceptionally clean, making it very comfortable. The owner is a very kind woman! My friend was extremely satisfied; it was a perfect choice, and they will definitely choose Melbourne Homestay again next time.

The young staff at the Songyue Hotel's front desk were all wonderful, such lovely young boys and girls. They were warm and friendly, and knowing we had a child, they even upgraded our room for free. The room had wall-to-wall carpeting, was clean, tidy, and odorless. It was quiet and cozy. The price was budget-friendly, but the service and environment were top-notch. They even offered thoughtful WeChat guidance service, which was excellent, so we extended our stay for another night. It's definitely one of the recommended good hotels.

The store has a good service attitude and convenient transportation. It is less than 50 meters away from the bus stop. Today, it is very convenient to take the children to play in the water and take the bus to reverse the bus. It is very convenient to go to Parkson to eat back and forth in the evening.
