"Unfortunately, our one-night stay at Villa Jazmin has been disappointing. The arrival experience felt cold and unprofessional, with no real welcome or explanation of the hotel’s facilities — we had to ask for everything ourselves. Although there’s a welcome drink at 6pm, it would have been thoughtful to offer this on arrival after a long journey from Lima. The staff seemed disinterested, especially compared with the warm greeting we saw at nearby Hotel Las Dunas. To add to this, checkout is at 10am even though our transfer isn’t until 3pm, leaving us waiting in the lobby for hours. Overall, a stay that sadly lacked hospitality and care."

"Our room was cold and there was no heating. The window looked into the pool of the neighbouring hotel. The toilet was small and we could hear our neighbours showering. Cleanliness of the toilet is questionable and the room was small for a triple. We could only place out bags at the foot of the bed and climb over them to get to the bed. The redeeming feature was the breakfast which had warm rolls, freshly squeezed juice and freshly cooked eggs. "

"We had a great stay at Luchys , all the staff are friendly and helpful! Mr Oscar provides a great bonus transport service which is helpful given you're a little out of town. The property is very beautiful and well maintained. Room and bathroom spotlessly clean as well as linens. Calm, quiet spot that makes for a great place to relax. Onsite restaurant has yummy food , breakfast is also good (basic but enough to keep you going). Would stay again."

"We stayed overnight in La Angostura prior to our trip to the Nasca lines. -The hotel is located in a residential area(very calm and quiet).We had a deluxe room with two beds. The beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean and shower was great. -The hotel offered some basic breakfast(fruit, bread and coffee). Please order your breakfast the night before and let them know what time you need your breakfast.Eva at the restaurant was very courteous and kept our breakfast orders ready in the morning. -Staff spoke little English but you can use a google translator. -Roosters in the neighborhood wake you up in the morning(Rooster alarm!).If you like running/walking outdoors, use the streets in the neighborhood(early in the morning is best to beat any little traffic on the streets). -Limited parking in the hotel so take a note of this and plan ahead. I did not see any cars parked on the streets(may be not allowed). -20mins drive from the hotel in a car to Huacachina. Overall comfortable stay and check them out."

"The hotel is beautiful,a green oasis surrounded by the magnificent Andes in the middle of the desert! We are unfortunately only here for one night, but feel so much at home. We thoroughly enjoyed the distillery tour with Francisco, he is a wonderful guide who is very knowledgeable and we learned all about Pisco, how it is made and then had a tasting, it's very strong 🥴😄. We also enjoyed the dance show and the horse show whilst we were having lunch! We would come here again in an instant, it's a beautiful hotel and distillery with fabulous views ❤️"

"Two days before going to the hotel, I called to confirm that the reservation and the mileage redemption I made through Club Miles were in order. The response I received was that everything was in order and that they were waiting for us at the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist told us that we had to pay the full amount of the room since they did not recognize the mileage redemption, despite showing them the confirmation email from Club Miles. The worst thing was not that, but the lack of willingness to support us in finding a solution. They did not want to communicate with Diners and their solution was that we pay for the full amount of the room. There was zero empathy from the receptionist and the administrator. When I asked for the complaints book, I had to insistently ask them to give me a copy of the complaint filed and that it also be signed by the manager. The truth is that I do not recommend it at all. For the same price, I consider that there are better alternatives in Ica with better treatment."

"The location is excellent, right next to the lake. The hotel environment is very nice; the pool is in a courtyard next door, but the water is too shallow. The room is quite large, the bed is big and comfortable, and it's a suite. Another room has two single beds and no window. The facilities are indeed old-fashioned; the air conditioner is outdated, and there's only one power outlet in the whole room, thankfully there's another one in the suite. The room is very clean, and the breakfast is quite plentiful; it's good value for money."

"What a little piece of paradise this was Cathy is a wonderful host, no English but we got through with Google translator, hand signals and much laughter. She makes a mean Pina Carlada. Rooms basic but clean. Some English shows in TV. Pool was fabulous. Very very safe. Meals basic but well priced and tasty. Short walk to sand dunes right down the road. Nice little shop at end of street. Good priced souvenirs. Quick 6 sole ride into Huacachina in a tuktuk Loved our stay"
