Wilderness Hotel Inari & Igloos
"Loved the aurora cabins! The only downside is the hot shower being limited to 10 mins and having to wait 30 mins for more hot water."
Giellajohka
"The hotel is very good, but you have to buy another 10 euros for sheets and towels. You can bring your own free WiFi. It’s super bad. It’s the same as no one. ⋯⋯ There are frozen pizzas that can be heated and eaten, but the supermarkets are cheaper. 😆"
Northern Lights Village Saariselkä
"Northern Lights Village in Saariselkä is an absolutely beautiful resort with an atmosphere that truly lives up to its name. During our stay, we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights every day and almost every night, without needing to go outside for aurora hunting at all. Some nights, the aurora was incredibly strong, with vivid green and even red colors clearly visible. Seeing red aurora was especially rare and felt truly magical. One of the most unforgettable experiences was being able to lie comfortably in bed and watch the Northern Lights through the glass roof, right from the room. It was simply breathtaking and deeply impressive. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, with warm smiles that make guests feel well taken care of. The room is comfortable and thoughtfully designed, with heated floors, which is very nice in extreme winter conditions. On the first night, the room felt quite cold due to a power outage, so we had to sleep wearing warm clothes. On the second night, the temperature was much better and comfortable. Considering that the outside temperature dropped to around -40°C, the room may feel slightly cool at times, but overall it was still comfortable enough to sleep well. Bathroom amenities are mostly complete; however, toothbrushes and razors are not provided, which would be a nice improvement for a resort of this level. Other amenities are well prepared. Overall, Northern Lights Village offers an extraordinary and once-in-a-lifetime experience. Being able to see the Northern Lights so clearly and frequently, right from your bed, makes this place truly special. Highly recommended for anyone who dreams of experiencing the Northern Lights in the most comfortable and unforgettable way."
Aurora Village Ivalo
"Good hotel ❤️"
Gáldu Hotel & Spa
"We visited with my fiancè and my mum for her 80th birthday. The staff looked after us so well from organising trips to catering for myself and my fiancè who are vegan. The food was incredible- big selection at breakfast and possibly the best granola and vegan pancakes I have tasted! Trips that I would recommend are the cross country skiing lesson with Marti- so much fun and a really knowledgeable instructor who was very kind and jolly. Also the huskies; the dogs were so well looked after and clearly enjoyed the event. I am big on animal welfare and I was cautious about events that mix animals and tourism but I was blown away with how happy the dogs were and cared for they are by the staff who love them. The Spa opens at 4pm each day and we loved going to the sauna and then to the cold plunge and back to the sauna again. We felt so relaxed after. Seeing the northern lights from the hotel whilst sipping champagne in the spa lobby was the absolute dream. I can not rate this hotel, experience and holiday enough. Thank you to all the staff at Galdu- we hope to someday return!"
Lapland Hotels Riekonlinna
"The room is quite spacious without an extra bed, enough to prepare simple meals. The kitchen has basic facilities, but no seasonings. There's no room service; if you need cleaning, it costs €30 per cleaning. The balcony offers beautiful views of the aurora borealis and snowscapes – truly stunning."
Santa's Hotel Tunturi
"The service here is quite good, the staff in the recee will give you some useful advice if you ask, room is really awesome, geting a nice view from the balcony. The breakfast is also good. 服务很好,房间有阳台,浴室,桑拿房。风景很好,周边有几个餐厅可以吃饭。早餐也不错"
Holiday Club Saariselkä
"I was worried when I saw the average reviews online. But after staying for three days, I still felt good. We stayed in a suite with a sauna, which was quite large and clean. The sauna and fireplace were also quite good. Although there were not many people at the front desk, the service attitude was very good. The most important thing is that the location is very convenient. It is very convenient to go to town or take a bus."
Wilderness Hotel Juutua
"Wilderness Hotel Juutua is a charming and peaceful hotel located just outside the town center of Inari, right next to Lake Inari. The lakeside location is truly beautiful, offering stunning natural views and a calm atmosphere that feels very special, especially in winter. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, with warm smiles that make guests feel comfortable and well taken care of. The room is warm and comfortable, which is important in the cold Lapland climate. However, the room feels quite small for two people, especially when traveling with luggage. Moving around and storing suitcases can be a bit inconvenient. Bathroom amenities are mostly sufficient, but toothbrushes and razors are not provided, which would be expected at this level of hotel. Other amenities are well prepared. Breakfast quality is good, but unfortunately we could not fully enjoy it because it closes too early at 10:00 AM, which may not be ideal for guests who prefer a relaxed morning or late start. Overall, Wilderness Hotel Juutua offers a beautiful lakeside setting, warm hospitality, and a cozy atmosphere. Despite some minor drawbacks such as room size and limited bathroom amenities, it is still a very pleasant stay and a great choice for travelers looking to experience the natural beauty of Inari."

Kuukkeli Log Houses Teerenpesä
"Worst hotel experience ever. The reception of this hotel is 500 meters away from where we actually stayed, but the hotel didn't give any advance notice. We dragged our suitcases to the door of the room and called without the key. We had to walk back to get the key. Normally, you may think that walking back is okay, but this is Finland with thick snow at minus 20 degrees Celsius! The recetion is in a supermarket. There is no sign at the door. I can only call the front desk to ask. The front desk has a very bad attitude. They point at people's noses and say I hope you can behave yourself. They also refuse to admit that it is their work error and ask me to go. and platform complaint. I stayed one night and had to leave the next day. When I was packing my luggage, a woman turned the key in without knocking and shouted "out now!" I asked what was wrong with giving me some time to pack, and she said she had to leave in 10 minutes. All in all, a very, very bad attitude and a very poor experience. The front desk and staff have very poor English and cannot understand human speech."

Kuukkeli Log Houses Aurora Resort
"The B&B is very good and the environment is very good, but the check-in and breakfast are not in the same place. I have to drive to the supermarket to get it separately. I am a little helpless, but I called for information and they explained enthusiastically. The breakfast is also very good!"
Kuukkeli Log Houses Aurora- Secret Cabin
"The room is very large, there are 4 rooms, each of which is this twin bed, there are kitchen, sauna, washing machine, coffee machine, microwave, oven, refrigerator and other facilities, very convenient."
