"My wife has threatened to leave me if I ever take her to another (motel) this bad! We were on our way to Lake Tahoe with our boat and this was to be just a driving break. We were originally booked at another motel next door, but they were shut down. News to me when I arrived! So, I jumped on the Trip website and this was next door. I figured a relatively big name lake Days Inn and it's affiliation with the Wyndham chain, how could I go wrong? Well, I never once saw a live person at check-in. There was a kiosk looking machine and a foreign individual with a very strong accent starts the check-in process on the screen as if this was a Zoom meeting. I just booked this on my phone a few minutes earlier and he tried to charge me more than I already had paid online. The lobby was painfully ugly with boxes and papers laying around. We get to the room and it made Motel 6 look like the Taj Mahal. I tried to use the WiFi, but it was very splotchy. I tried calling the lobby, but absolutely no answer. What if there was truly an emergency? Didn't sleep but 2 hours that night. I went to the lobby to get some coffee at the "free breakfast." Lukewarm coffee and thank God I wasn't looking to eat. There were some cheap Danish pastries. I guess that was breakfast. Needless to say, this was a horrible stay and we couldn't wait to blow out of there."

"Compared to the same brand hotels elsewhere, Bishop is purely a Motel, so it is a little simpler than normal hotels! The hotel has an outdoor pool and many people play there! Breakfast is basically the same as other brand hotels!"

"I stayed in the dormitory. Clean bedding was provided and there was access to shared lounge, dining room and kitchen. This was very good value. The staff were very very friendly and even shared their evening meal when they cooked more than they needed. Location is very convenient for downtown Bishop."

"Unbeknownst to us, our room was directly adjacent to minors. In fact the entire floor was reserved for a high-school group, except our two rooms. We received no buffer and no notification about this. Of course, there were noise issues. Sadly no one trained the night shift and when asked about contacting the chaperones, the response was "that is not how it works" and instead the would only "solution" was for them to call the offending high-school students. What a joke! For my lack of sleep, I received a $15 credit."
