"We are always on the lookout for good places to stay overnight for our journeys from our home to Carinthia and of course also vice versa, since we have abandoned the practice to do this trip in one day. (Retirement brings this freedom). This time we hit on Hotel Fischerwirt in Ismaning, close to Munich. This hotel proved to be a lucky find, and worth a five point rating. Situated in a quiet side street in Ismaning, but only a short drive from the A99 motorway around Munich, this hotel offers large well furnished rooms, friendly staff, ample parking and a standard German buffet breakfast. Free coffee or tea in the lobby and a fridge with cold drinks, including beer of course in the hall close to the lift for nominal cost. Get your cool drink, make a note on the writing pad and hand the money next morning to a member of the staff in the lobby. This contributes to the soothing, homey atmosphere of the hotel. As I mentioned before, a well deserved five point rating."

"Staff friendly , breakfast normal . heating worked well . In the shower there was hot water . The only minus instead of the declared double bed was two shifted single beds , on one of which the mattress was higher than on the other ."

"Beautiful hotel in excellent location. The room in the first night had disturbing drop noise from air conditioning. (Was known to the staff) Otherwise a very good equipment. The staff was very busy and friendly and the dinner in the restaurant was very good at the first night. The bakery in the house is one of the top addresses in feet. A total of a nice stay. Thank you to all involved."

"Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ok not really full English just bacon and eggs. No tomato’s beans or mushrooms. Very basic breakfast. Seriously overpriced we paid 750 euros for 3 nights in a room that didn’t have a kettle, no air conditioning and to be honest not very clean, we had a lot of dust and grime on the floor at the side of the bed room 277. I’d say 99% of the hotels I’ve stopped in I would return. But value for money I would return here."

"The rooms are quiet spacious and clean, and newly renovated. Breakfast was ok with variety of food and drinks. We were welcomed by Mdm. Assunta and her colleague and she also helped us with our luggages even after we have checked out. The hotel nested in a quiet, serene and clean suburb with around 10 minutes walk from S8, make it easier for us to travel from airport and to town (about 30 minutes). Photo are the stream in front of the hotel and the river which about 15 minutes walk away. Supermarket is 5 minutes walk away, and the pizza restaurant and burger restaurant nearby also a good choice for dinner."

"The hotel is very quiet outside of Ismaning in the local area of fisherhauser. Connected is a beautiful restaurant with bayeric kitchen, where there is also breakfast. All has tasted best. My room under the roof was small but sufficient and perfectly clean. Free parking is sufficiently available in front of the house."

"Much cheaper than hotels around Munich Airport. Need to call customer service. The customer service put the room card in advance and put it in the key box opposite the registration window. There is wifi. The room is clean and tidy. It is very suitable for business accommodation."
