"I expected more from Glö than I received. I chose Glö as a "treat" for a couple's getaway, as it was a newer hotel and appeared like it would be snazzier than the usual fare. Pros: The bathroom was very nice, and the complimentary toiletries are top notch. The rooms are very clean. The mattress was very comfortable and the TV was a decent size. Cons: The rooms are incredibly small, and while they are nicely furnished, the tiny "couch" seat was more form than function (i.e. prettier than it was comfortable). The front desk staff seemed very new and clueless on basic hospitality essentials, like how to work the in-room television. It also took ages for a response from front desk on how to work the TV and the issue wasn't even resolved. I probably will not stay here again nor would I recommend this hotel to anyone I know, as there are so many hotels to choose from in Kanata that offer better, more knowledgeable service and better pricing."

"This is a place for working professionals who need several weeks here. Not much services . Room cleaning is very other day. The included breakfast is basic but you will not go starving. There is a mall next to it, with many restaurant options. Pool is small. Gym is small but surprisingly clean and with good equipments. Service staff are very friendly. Overall a good stay."

"Hotel located 20 minutes drive from downtown Ottawa. Shops, highway and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Hotel generally clean despite the dust accumulated on certain surfaces. Comfortable mattress but the pillows could be improved. The staff is pleasant. Breakfast available for $15/person. Can be noisy on Saturday nights because the hotel hosts sports teams."
