The reception is unavailable until 9 am, because we arrive really early in the morning, the hotel does not respond via call or message, so we have placed it for three hours for someone to open the hotel door for us. The hotel is clean, there is a hot water kettle in the common room, and the location is convenient. It is really annoying that luggage storage costs €2 for a small locker, which we think is unacceptable because we have already paid a lot for the accommodation and they still don’t provide free luggage storage service.

Location is really good almost the attractions near by. Staff miss aana such nice girl here to help me to put my luggage in locker room for free. The place very clean and comfortable according to budget. At night the noice is so much🥱 Suggest:- if the traveler reached late there is no one to accommodate them.. so if you reaching late then inform in advance and get all the information before you face problem. Location: The hotel boasts an excellent, central location, right in the heart of the city. The metro is approximately 50 meters away, and a taxi ride from the airport takes about 30-40 minutes. There are plenty of restaurants and bars downstairs, and many attractions are within walking distance. Facilities: The hotel is quite new, and I didn't encounter any broken facilities during my stay. I really liked the decor, though the room size is quite small. I'd recommend booking a room with a terrace; I was lucky enough to get one with the largest terrace, and it was lovely to sit out there in the mornings and evenings. It would be perfect if the room came with a small kettle. Cleanliness: There were some minor stains on the bed sheets, but I didn't find any other cleanliness issues. Service: The front desk service was quite fast, but there wasn't really any 'service with a smile.' The female staff member who checked me in just took my passport, collected the deposit, and handed over the room card – that's it. The next day, I went down to the front desk with a small issue, and a male staff member (who seemed very professional and explained things clearly, perhaps a manager) helped me resolve it. Overall, if you're only in Madrid for a short trip of one or two nights and your budget is under 1000, I think this hotel is a good choice.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! It's located right in the heart of the city, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling center. You can take the metro directly from the airport, and within a few minutes' walk from the hotel, you'll reach Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, and the Royal Palace of Madrid! Staying here completely eliminates the hassle of transferring metros. The hotel has a beautiful garden design with lots of greenery, making it very comfortable. And the breakfast is delicious too!

I chose this hotel because it's close to the scenic area, but it's incredibly small. Luggage storage is in the underground parking lot and requires a separate payment for a self-service storage system. Right around the corner is Carrefour, where you can buy water and snacks. Honestly, the hotel basically just provides a bed and a place to shower. You literally have to turn sideways to get in and out of some spaces.

One of the best hostels I’ve been. Especially for the price, it’s totally worth the money. For 10€ per night I had clean towel, bed sheets, storage cabinet/ locker. They also offer free luggage storage before the check in if you arrive earlier or with a 3,5€ fee for after checkout storage. The location is perfect, in the city centre near metro station. Shops around, restaurants, bars, supermarkets etc. Friendly staff and also offer cold water in the common area (excellent if you have a bottle to refill). The building was clean and also the bedroom, the toilets and showers could have been better. There was also air conditioning, so even though it was a top floor room it was totally fine during the day and night.

The location is fantastic, allowing me to reach any client visit within half an hour, and it's very close to the train station. Our room by the window was very comfortable, and the bathroom wasn't crowded most of the time. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The only minor issue was that due to high occupancy, they couldn't store our luggage, so we had to check in strictly at the designated time.

The hotel was great, it was clean, the staff provided fantastic service, and the breakfast was good. The only downfalls were that there is not enough sun loungers and the pool is not heated which was a big disappointment as it was going to be a major part of my plans there. But is was uncomfortably cold.

The most iconic feature of the Riu Hotel is undoubtedly its 27th-floor 360° sunset view bar🌇. Hotel guests get complimentary access with their room key card, while non-guests need to purchase a ticket. It's 5 euros before 5 PM and 10 euros after 5 PM. You buy tickets at the back of the hotel; just walk around from the main entrance, take the elevator to the 26th floor, then walk up the stairs to the 27th floor, where you'll find the observation deck and bar. The hotel is massive with a large number of rooms, and there's a constant flow of people. To use the elevator, you have to swipe your room card and select your floor. The system automatically assigns an elevator, and you then find the corresponding cabin based on the letter displayed – it feels a bit like working in a large office building. During breakfast rush hour, the crowd is huge, and the dining atmosphere is more like a company cafeteria. Overall, the experience is just average.

Located in Lavapies not far from the main attractions in city center and at walking distance to Atocha train station, it has a rooftop with a bar - it closes at night though and another cafeteria-like social area with a good kitchen by the lobby. As a large hostel it tends to have groups of first-time travellers but it is still possible to socialize; they promote games, walking tours, pub crawlings etc Beds are perfect, capsule style with curtains and air conditioner on all day long.
